Firstly, this is in the wrong forum. Matters reffering to actual gameplay, should be in the Gameplay forum. Although, You have been a little unclear so it may have to go in the Got Issues? Forum. But I will give any advice I can before one of the mods moves this across.
My first piece of advice is this:Good Grammer and spelling will go along way. Just take your time when you post, check what you wright is O.K and makes sense. Nobody is perfect, but just taking a look at your first post:

It just looks untidy, without the capitals and is likely to get you mroe posts like this, and maybe even get you put on Black Lists and Ignore Cannoned. Just keep an eye on it, for your own sake.
Secondly, read the sticky threads, and any announcements. These can be very helpfull, they were to me-and now there are alot mroe of them arround than when I joined last year.
Some RolePlaying advice, don't do it for a while. I am guessing that from your grammer you have not been active on online forums or groups before so I suggest you sit back for a week or so. Just answer your issues, and observe what goes on in some good Roleplays. Then post an introduction to your nation, and you can start RolePlaying fully.
When you do start RolePlaying, do not under any circumstances GODMOD. This is a Satanic act, and will result in chants of N00b, and Ignored. A GODMOD is when you come up with something that you are RolePlaying with which is impossible or unreasonable.
You may have gathered that this is a RolePlaying forum. This means you can effectively do what you like, aslong as you do not GODMOD. There are rules, but if you read the stickies you should grasp these. Its a good community, so there will allways be help arround.

In addition to that... when you first start a roleplay, DO NOT GO TO WAR.
You will be crusehed by a group called Warmongers. Usually starting as n00bs and developing RP skills to be accepted, they have become the most militaristic states in the game. I should know. I was one for a few months.
Another tip. If you want to save what you just typed or it's really long or important, cut and paste it. I can't stress that enough. The forums here will eat at least three out of every ten posts you put up, either with 'Page cannot be displayed' or 'Invalid Session'. Don't think it's your computer or browser, it happens to all of us. But, it's supposed to be fixed this month.(then again, we've heard that promise before)
Anyway, back to RP stuff. Don't get into wars, alliances, or anything non-peaceful. Hold a party in your nation, get noticed, make friends. Friends and allies are the only way to survive in this game once you start waging wars.
(And guess what? This post got eaten twice. Thank the OS for cut and paste!)

If this dosen't cover everything, read all the stickies to learn the technicallities on TGing,Issue voting and the UN.And,even if you do nothing,a Warmongerer may try to destroy you anyway,so make allies as fast as possible and avoid anything that is a potential crisis diplomatic or militerical until you have a sizeable military.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
Good work guys! Nanakaland allways has something constructive to say-and is often right. But hey, we said everything before he could get a look in! Pat yourselfs on the back, or get someones else to do it for you...
Oh, and Allyssia I have a couple more hints for you:
When you begin RP'ing you should set up an MS Excel doccument, saying what you have bought, what you have sold and general information about your nation. This is mainly for your own reference, but it will help if say you want to buy 8 chinook helicopters, but someone doesn't think you can afford it. Then you can prove that you can! Simple but effective.
Also, it's allways helpfull to create an alias for yourself on here-for RP purposes. Most nations when chatting with you will call you by a shortened version of your nation name. So you may get EA, or even just El. But in an RP situation, its best to have character Alias'- lok at mine Pabli, CEO of Pabli-Corp I sign my IC (In Character, as aposed to Out Of Character, OOC) posts as Pabli, which gives other players something to know you by.
A hint for posting. You may have noticed that I have used Italic, Bold and other techniques. Here is a brief overview on how to do this:
To Type In Italics:- Put an before the writing you want in italics, and after it. Remember not to include the spaces shown here.
To Type In Bold:- Put an before the writing you want in italics, and after it. Remember not to include the spaces shown here.
To Type with Underline:- Put an before the writing you want in italics, and after it. Remember not to include the spaces shown here.
To type in Colour:- Type at the begining of your text, and then at the end of it.
To Type in Large or Small Print:- Type at the begining of your text, and after it.
Hope I am being helpfull, and if there is anything more I can do-don't be afraid to telegram me, or any other experienced player for that matter.

I never, at any point said that I was in anyway perfect, or that I had good grammar skills. I try though. This doesn't take away my ability to ADVISE other people.

And that’s not counting your capitalization errors or your dozens of errors in your other posts.
NOTE: This is to help you.

Okay. I shall run through my spelling and grammar check.
Hi. My name is Alyssa, and I'm new here. Has anybody got any tips? :?
The errors are underlined. Your errors weren't so much spelling as grammer. Capitalize and don't use excessive punctuation. If your grammer and spelling are good, you will be respected more around here.
NS Spellchecker, I hope you NEVER run in to The Fedral Union, you will waste your entire life away trying to correct all that crap. Hel just look at his name!

And you my dear seem to be in need of my services. Please take a look at your post and your previous assists.
Grammer is a no, as you yourself earlier pointed out. Grammar however would be the correct spelling there, which you somehow managed to miss twice after correcting others.
I hope this little post was helpful - I simply could not resist.
