CNN, Allanea

Today, the Allanean military has apprehended a fishing boat in the Haven Straights carrying weapons to Edolia. Two smugglers were killed in the shoot-out which preceded the capture.

It is suspected that the smugglers had a political motive of some form, but that is still being investigated, said Allanean Attorney-General Arnold Bronx.

A small van, similar to that of the Royal mail or Fed-Ex, drives down toward the harbour where the boat is moored with authorities buzzing arround it.

You ready? Called the driver looking back to where the parcels should be.

A consoudning yes came from it and the doors swung open as the truck swung so it was no longer head on with the authorities. Behind the side of the truck a guys loaded up pistols, and 3 held submachine guns to give cover fire.

Shit, hold on boys.
The guy who had been driving, now holding his pistol tightly picked up his phone. The voice said,

Jo, I wany my guns, and the package damnit!
the line went dead and Jo nodded to the 7 guys standing behind the truck.

One guy with submachine gun lept up onto the first ro second rung of the side ladder so he could fire over the truck, whilst the other two began firing from either side.
The pistol men waited for a few seconds and then began firing wildly into the crowd ahead, before they started to walk cooly towards them, picking people out one by one.

OOC: If you didn't get it right, the guns were sent FROM Allanea to Edolia, and the boat is now being returned to Allanea, but oh well...

P.S. Note Allanea's motto.

IC: When the first man fell, shot down by the mafioso's, something changed in the crowd. There were multiple audible *click*'s , as dozens of weapons were being cocked. Practically everybody was carrying - it was Allanea, after all - and whoever wasn't, ran to his car to grab a rifle. Within seconds, the four thugs were confronted with heavy gunfire from all directions.

Yeh well, lets just say its in Allanea now, the joys of flexi-time....

Diving for random cover the guys continued fire, but one took a bullet in the shin.

Jo dropped a clip from the but of his gun, and slipped another in immediatley, firing away.

Two men had hidden behind cars on each side, but Jo was thinking.

Orange, get over there now!

Jo pointed to behind a couple of fish trucks, and Orange ran. As he took off, Jo put his gun under the chasis of the car and fired. *Click*. The door jarred open a little, and Jo slid inside, slipping down into the foot area, covering himself. He slammed the gun against the door form the inside, and pierced it right though. The barrel of the gun fitted nicely, and Jo used the other hand to turn the car slightly, running horizontal to the gathering o weapon wielding men. *bang bang Bang* he pulled the trigger again and again, reloading new clips time after time as he spun the car and looped back across with his new found tank.

Behind the truck the boys with Sub-machine Guns opened heavy fire, between their ducking and sheltering.

Fil Morris, a truck driver, collapsed next to his truck. He knew he was dieing, but he could still do something about those rascals. He caught one of them in the sights of his truck gun - an M-16A1 rifle - and pulled the trigger. Twice.

In the meanwhile, the phones in the nearby police station started ringing...

We are curious as to what an Allanean warship was doing in Haven waters and how it managed to get past our patrols. We warn Allanea that warship flying the Allanean flag in Havne waters will be called upon to surrender and be boarded or sunk.

OOC: good lord Allanea, could you possibly resolve one thread before beginning another? There are currently 8 threads that I know of dealing with your activies against the UnAPS or in Haven. If you dump one more spinoff thread before at least resolving one of the others, I'm going to (for the first time ever) ignore a nation, and it just may be you!

It would also be nice if you telegrammed Haven nations and let them know about RP's you are starting in our region.

Ilek, I know of only two more threads which are currently active

(the oil thread and the war thread), and the war thread could be considered resolved IMO.

Not necessarily, as was pointed out in the thread.

OOC: well great, so the point of the thread was to be a waste of time? THAT'S what I find irritating. There are 13 other threads about the Allanean/Edolian friction where the declaration of war could've been posted without creating an additional ,useless, thread. For instance it could have posted on the Terrorist Attack thread, and it would have made sense to post it there.

Also, Allanean warships in the Haven Straights would be have been shot on sight... remember... Allanea is not *on* the Haven Straights... it is to the North and we're pretty protective about our turf, especially since technically, Allanea and Edolia are at war.>>

[Apparently Allanea built an oil rig smack dab in the middle of the Haven Straits and made a thread about it. I was tempted to send one of my dreadnaught/superdreadnaught squadrons and use the rig for practice, but I'm going to wait for Feline to arrest the trespassers before I decide, though.]
