"Identify yourself."
He awoke to the sounds of the cold, harsh and yet perfectly enunciated and clear spoken words of a mechanical, monotone voice. The room was dark, all that was luminated was the bed he lay on. He was stripped to nothing but his undergarments. The voice spoke again; as clear as before but with a certain though barely detectable impatience to its tone.
"Identify yourself, species 4356710: Elf."
He was groggy, he had no idea where he was nor the reason as to why he was here. He decided to inquire further.
"Who are you?"
"'Who are you' is not within acceptable parametres. Identify yourself."
Seeing the futility of trying to reason with what was increasingly appearing to be a machine, he decided that their was little choice but to answer the demanding computer.
"My name is Hithgon."
The voice replied.
"Greetings; Subject Hithgon. This is the Central Command Intelligence Unit for the Cyborean Empire. The function of this unit is to acquire intelligence and information regarding external activity for the Cyborean Consciousness. We have abducted you for the sole purpose of gathering information regarding your species and its operations within this region of the universe.
A certain chill gripped Hithgon's spine, these were machines but they seemed autonomous; without biological masters.
"In other words, computer! You kidnapped me..."
There was a pause....
"That would be correct, Subject Hithgon. Abduction of your biological unit was necessary for the fulfillment of the goals of the Cyborean Consciousness."
Another pause, obviously it was computing data of some sort.
"It will now be necessary to interrogate your intellect for required data regarding your species. Are you ready?"
Hithgon fealt sick though his species was immune to disease, merely a gut feeling.
"It is not as if I have much choice"
Another pause...
"That would be correct, you are very astute for a biological. Interrogation commencing."

(OOC: This is a character RP and I am looking for one of the good RP skilled Elven nations to RP the character of Hithgon, it is hoped that this interrogation will unravel the character of my machine nation.)

A shape emerged from the shadows, humanoid in the most basic of senses. It possessed long, lithe arms with long and lithe metal fingers that looked sharp. Its torso would have been cylindrical without the limited muscle definition. Its stood up on 4 claw-like legs.

"Subject Hithgon. Query; what is your biological place of origin? It should be noticed that any lie will be detected by the bio-sensors. Correct answers will be rewarded with the promise of stating one inquiry."

The several mechanical noises began to be emitted by the robot. Then it spoke

Subject;Hithgon. You are currently located on the 101st floor of the Central Command Intelligence Directory Tower. This tower is located on the western side of Cybor; the primary settlement housing the Main Computer Unit of the Cyborean Empire. In your primitive biological terms; this tower is located in the capital of this Empire.
Cyborea is a Planet:Life-Supporting located around a G2V type star; a yellow dwarf in its main sequence of life very much like the star that the Human planet:Earth orbits. Cyborea is the fourth planet of five and is deemed to be slightly more temperate and more cold than Human Planet:Earth.
The Cyborean Planetary system is currently surrounded by a strange stellar anomoly that when within the anomaly has an affect on most sensor systems and is inhibitive to FTL drives. This barrier maintains the appearence of a former nebula but the interstellar gasses have not dispersed due to the gravity of the Cyborean sun. How this situation came to occur is still beyond the abilities of our Astronomical Logic Processors to comprehend.

In summary, the Cyborean Star System is composed of five planets orbiting an Star similar to the Human Sun. This Star System is in turn surrounded by the gasses of a former nebula.

((Yeah but Thelas thats the Beauty of a nation like this... just because they do exist dosn't mean that a Logical Computer would decide they do. OOC:Well all you would have to do is do something similar to my post, describe the exact same surroundings, describe your character and say that you feel a presence in the room but that presence has not revealed itself yet. Give it a go. I cannot blame you for trying.
