WOODSTOCK - The Incorporated States of Sarzonia announced their schedule for federal holidays to take effect immediately. All government and non-essential public offices would be closed on the holidays listed. The holidays are as follows:
JANUARY 1: New Year's Day
MARCH 22: Founder's Day
MAY 26: Stevie Nicks Day
JUNE 25: Alliance Day
JULY 10: President's Day [OOC: I figure if I'm running a country, I should have my birthday be a holiday, dammit!]
First Monday in September: Labor Day
Last Thursday in November: Thanksgiving Day. All Federal offices will be closed the Friday after Thanksgiving as well.
DECEMBER 25: Christmas Day.
