A man wearing armor and black clothing from head to foot steps up to a podium. He taps the microphone in front of him. The tap resounds through the room. He speaks into the microphone, his distorted voice issuing from his helmet,"My name is Kroenen. As a result of the former head General Mawer's heart attack, I have accepted the position of Head of Operations for the SOET. I will not show weakness like my predecessor, and will authorize any measure to complete a mission."
Kroener, obviously not used to speaking in front of a crowd, steps down from the podium and dissapears into a back room. The reporters in the room look around, questioning if it was over. Eventually, they left.
