Out of curiosity, would anyone be willing to RP a Survival Horor style RP? Character Oriented, specifically, where your characters (most likely diplomats and what not) would be put in a situation where they have to escape a survival situation by means other than calling in airstrikes and rescue teams. If yes, I'd like it if your characters arent all ex-SF super soldiers all around bad asses who can kill an entire army with a snap of thier fingers, only one of those is allowed, and thats assuming the charcter is still alive when this RP gets going. I'd like to make it a good, long lasting RP, with decent RPers. All intrested post here or TGram me, thanks.

If you've got a good background story I'd be glad to join in. Xanthal has plenty of wussy diplomats that have no experience with life-threatening situations.

I'd love to join. I have yet to play in an RP where my main character is incapable of operating anything more complex than a 2x4, and I'd like that change of pace.

This will be my third if I take part. Steel Butterfly's owned and got into the archives. The other one had the story hijacked, and I left. Always up for a good Survival RP. Real fun RPing a person that's not a super soldier.

SB's was that good, eh? Now I wish I hadn't lost interest after the 5th page. At least I can be content with the fact I came up with the story, right? :)

Well, all my people happen to be mindless wage slaves, so we'd have to send a droid diplomat. He wouldn't be all uber and own everything he sees, don't worry. He'd simply have the non-lethal electroshock hands that we have standard in all our robots. Of course, broken robot parts hardly have the same effect as a bucket of blood and guts, so it's really your call.

I sont see why not, although super strength and what not would be ignored for the fact that it would be seen as simply blasting your way out of the compound. Also, it owuldnt be able to transmit any signals in or out of the compound due to microwave and em coatings that prevent signals from getting in or out.

im up for it. best i can offer is a ex-army court-martialed corporal thats just at the summit as a recorder of any interesting events (happens to have a video camera) he only knows how to operate a pistol at some level of proficiency(not that great) and at best how to pull the trigger and point an assault rifle at something.

I think I'm gonna stick with a good ol' 2x4. :D

Ok, Im typing up the main thread now, cuz I got enough replies for this to convince me to do it. However, I would like to ask that you actually RP when it goes up, and not just tag it.

People like to know that what they're talking to can't kill them with a touch of its pinky. It does stand to reason that it would be able to transmit signals, but you seem to have that base covered.
