News Report:

Weyheyheyhey! This is Vidner Rafhop here, and boy do we have some cooooooooolllll tunes today! Next up: Don't you LOVE the government!, followed by The Government is always looking out for you!. Boo-yeahhhhhhhhhh!

Oh, wait! We have just recieved word from our Technological Correspondent, Georgoff Skilin! Apparently there is a surprise announcement from the CCOCT (Computing, Cybernetics, and Other Coo' Things!) Conference. We go there on-site:

Hi Vidner, this is Georgoff Skilin reporting live from the CCOCT Conference! It appears that Grand Chancellor Maerecas has an announcement to make on new Cyborg technology! Oh, and here we see him step on the stage. Let's put the CyberRecorder over to the stage...

Grand Chancellor:
Greetings, Naryans! I come before this fine conference to bring news of our research into Cyborgnetics - The study and production of Cyborgs.

Our government owned and operated company, CyberTalin, has been working exhaustively in the research of a new and improved design of Cyborg. As you may know, our army consists of more than half Cyborgs. These are comprised 50% of the older 406 Models, 30% of the slightly newer 428 Models, 15% of the fairly recent 435 Models, and only 5% of the now defunct 367 Models.

However, today we are unveiling the latest in Cyborgnetics! The CyberTalin 546 – the greatest jump in Cyborgnetics ever! This latest model has been enhanced in terms of speed and weaponry. However, the biggest advancement is in the brain support technology. This latest model is no longer your average enforcer – the 546 now has enhanced brain capacity. Instead of the unfortunate dumbing-down effect that the adrenaline chip has had, the SmartChip Technologies SmartCommander546 Chip has allowed for the Cyborg to function as a commander by making it possible for it to generate viable strategies and be a charismatic field commander.

Postive results have come in from the lab – apparently there is only a 1.56% chance of fatal error or failure in the creation process. Comparing that to the 5.46% rate of the 435, we have certainly seen a great bound in Cyborgnetics.

Malfunction rate is almost non-existent. .000000013% chance, compared to the .0000016% rate of the 435.

The defunct 367 Models will be replaced by the 546s. They will function as the elite core of the Naryan Army. The 367s will be the first Cyborgs in history to undergo reconstruction efforts. We will attempt to reprogram and refurbish them as 435s, with about 10% of them being totally stripped of Cyborg technology in an effort to observe the effects that the mechanical life has on the organic form. We have no idea if these efforts will succeed, but they will allow another fascinating look into Cyborgnetics.

Thank you all! Long live Narya Talin!

(OOC: Er... Well, this is my first sort of RP-post on NationStates, so pardon me if I've god-moded or anything... I'm just a stupid noob. :))

*Assumes that the report can be received outside the nation as well*

ic:

Now they are of a strange sort...

Walther listened to the... thing he had just catched. Kinda strange, yes... And a bit overenthusiastic, aren´t they?

He quickly thought a message for a few TAWCN friends he knew, mentioning the transmission.

The results were... fascinating, to say the least. Certainly they were interested.

What do you think?
Freaks. But hey... Not of the usual sort.
Should check the library for more information about them. Never heard of this ones before.
Indeed.

Once the session was over. He pondered for a moment, then disconnected, wanting to be alone for a moment... Gotta make some acquintances there... Wonder if that is even legal in their nation...

Seems pretty advanced for such a young nation.
