Exerpt From The CoHL Independant Press

Sarah Maria Decados, Arch-Priestess of The High Passionist Church and Overlord of the planet of Gernalitily, has passed an arbitrary act delegalizing Aelosian residents of Gernalitily today. Accusing them of heresy and "conspiracy against the Church", she has ordered that all Aelosian citizens on Gernalitilian soil be placed in the Church's infamous concentration camps, known as "Kaptivabus Heretikae". The Arch-Priestess was quoted saying the following at this morning's official press conference;
"We have gathered information that these criminals have been using our nation as a secret base of operation from which to launch terrorist attacks on the Empire of Melkor Unchained. We have also been informed that they have been working to secretly convert the locals from the One True Faith to some strange form of heresy. This will not stand. As of today, Aelosians are barred from Gernalitilian soil. The current residents have been confined for further screening. We have yet to determin whether this group has been acting of its own accord, or with the endorsement of the Aelosian government. The press will be updated as necessary."
The Arch-Priestess did not go on record as to how many Aelosians are currently imprisoned, nor how they are being treated. The general consensus, however, is that they most probably will not survive screening.

"The Socialist Republic of Xanthal has heard the news of your citizens' imprisonment in Gernalitily. We are deeply suspicious of that nation's actions, and as they are acting on behalf of Melkor Unchained, one of Xanthal's oldest enemies, and you are our allies, we would like to offer you our full cooperation in freeing your people and returning them to you by any means necessary short of war. We can give you strike teams, or offer you the option of a covert extraction. You do not need to accept our offer, but it would be wrong for us to not at least offer to help our friends against our enemies."

We have been recieving reports that over a thousand Aelosian citizens have already been massacred while detained at the Kaptivabus Heretikae. It has also been reported that thousands more are awaiting there turn to be brutaly interrogated and then gased. The High Priestess has been quoted as saying,
"The Church will hunt down these Aelosian subhumans wherever they may be hiding throughout the Three Realms and the nations of The Concert of High Lords. Not one Aelosian will be left alive within the domains under our jurisdiction. This is how the Church of Tzeentch-Slaanesh deals with criminals and terrorists. Let it serve as a warning to others."

This is an utter outrage. We didn't even know any Aelosians lived on planets. Such a shame that appalling crimes are the only way some unfortunates get noticed. We utterly condemm this act of infamy as a crime against sentience, and urge the rest of the international community to do so too. You are contemptible barbarians, and I can only hope that you become enlightened at some point.

Unfortunatly, it was an april fool's joke that cost my nation's government billions, as we mobilized the entire IXth Fleet, by order of The Empress Natalya, in response to the threat. Our tax payers aren't laughing. This is an act of retribution. It might be a bit of a stretch with the Aelosian citizens, but I'm making that stretch for RP reasons. I'm hoping to provoke a good RP standoff here, an epicly dramatic one where it is emphasized that people are suffering and dying injustly. Unfortunatly, Aelosia seems to be out of it....

1) I doubt it. I had puppets once and a lot of times I accidentally log in to one instead of the other in the forums. I let all my puppets go to pot, though. I got tired of maintaining them.

[ooc: This deserves a clarification. Arda has no 'puppets' in the sense that we don't have one dude running fifteen nations in Arda. I know one or two people that control more than one nation, that have 'satellites' in Arda, but they're not necessarily allied to the player's main or "parent" nation. I thought it was a bit unfair to follow the "one person one nation" rule in my region because a lot of people are diverse with their tastes, and the game is, after all, supposed to be fun. I just don't want another Elara or TSE running around in my region, dig?

As to my allied regions, I cannot speak for them. Frankly, I frown on this type of thing in general, but there isn't much I can do beyond my own region.]

Anyone that pays attention to the forums knows that I control both Presgreif and Gernalitily. I've been honest and upfront about it since the beginning. Refer to threads such as "An Invitation to the Coronation of Natalya de Greif" and "The Decentralization of Empire". You should do your homework before you start accusing people of such things. You're making yourself look rather silly.

OOC: As much as I hate Melkor IC and dislike him OOC I must stand by him on this one. As long as your nations are untied IC or have legitimate IC ties, I have no problem with puppets. The only objection I have is when a nation just throws several puppets into a conflict with no good IC reason other than "they must obey me". Myself, I have a rather unconventional and ironic system. I have two friends that each control their own nation within my region. They have my protection, but they also must comply with executive orders from Xanthal, and that includes demands for military assistance. In a way, I have puppets that aren't even mine.

Hattia is horrified at the genocide being commited in Gernalitily. We will support any actions taken against them to the full ability of our nation.

(Look up Gernality's region. It's not in Arda. They've even defined themselves as a separate planet. Don't blame our region for stuff that in no way directly involves us. We're not the ones doing evil)

I apologize for any bad feeling I may have provoked. That was not my intention. I was hoping for a good conflict RP. I didn't know the idea was so unwelcome. This was in no way an attempt to undermine Aelosia, or to cause some sort of animosity. I withdraw the IC statements made in this thread. It is every player's right to not role play with any other participant. Once again, I deeply apologize for the misunderstanding. It was not my intention to offend or anger anyone.

A certain player used quite harsh and offensive language in reference to myself and my allies. I feel this was unecessary, and will not reply in kind. IC rivalries do not warrent OOC insults. I would appreciate an apology, for I do not feel I have done anything to deserve such treatment. Thank you for your attention.

OOC: Your apologies are accepted, it's not like I'm mad at you or something, but usually these things usually work when they're planned between the both players...I know that you wanted an interesting RP, but sometimes certain conditions must be met with the other RPing partner.
