New monotheistic religion is given Imperial support.

This is your loveable cave dweller, Frost/Shard bringing you the latest news from the Ge’laan province in the South Land. As you may or may not know, a local cult has recently become an offical religion in these parts.
{If you don’t know, I don’t blame you. It only takes one quack to start a new religion here these days… Don’t you miss the saner days? When you only needed 200 pairs of hands and feet to count all the religions?}
This new religion is called the ‘Quoan’dal est Ure’ in the Ge’laanian South Land tongue, meaning ‘The Church of Illumination’ or ‘The Church of Fire’ in normal modern English.
This religion has managed to, in a period of five years, move out of the status of new sect or cult to a full fledged religion with over 80.000 followers in the South Land and has been given the imperial decree of recognition, making it an official religion within the Enduring Empire, with all the benefits naturally.

Impressive huh? Well guess what, people; This new religion isn’t just your ordinary group, of well meaning quacks hell no! Their monotheists!

Yeah, you know what that means don’t you? Remember the last monotheistic cult to come from the south land? Millions died! We got an entirely glassed province in the South Land to prove it. And now the Emperor has given a decree of recognition to this ‘one god, one will’ cult!

May the Twelve Prophets watch over us on this horrid day. Keep your eyes and ears peeled peeps, trust on ol’Frost/Shard to do the same, I’ll be bringing you more on this soon as my contacts have gotten more.

Three Jaiden officers involved in bar fight, ten men killed.

Icewyrm is here, people. And I got not so happy news for you from the East Land.
Yesterday night in the Bassan Province, three Jaiden Officers {Fell Darius (34), Marinda Oyster (28 ) and Bantus Jequ (26).} Managed to get themselves in a little bar brawl. Now it isn’t uncommon for the Jaiden to ‘get physical’ to maintain order, but these three weren’t there to control the fight, no no. These three started the fight, and when they grew bored using their Mandaan {This ain’t the martial art we civvies all like to practice folk, this is the military version, ya know? Kill before they can blink.} to beat the men and women up, the drunken S.O.B’s drew their frigging hunting knifes and started to gut people, rumor has it they slit the throats of two cops who moved in to try and get some order and peace there again.

They don’t tell you about that on the mainstream news, now do they? Our sources have informed us that the three Jaiden have been dishonorably discharged and given, get this, the very, very firm punishment of three years.

What did Antuak Delore get again for punching a Jaiden in the face? … Oh yeah! 20 years!

It’s a sick nation our there, people, when our nations finest warriors are little more then murdering bastards, murdering bastards that get away with it.
Trust me, when these three get out of jail, I’ll be letting all you know where they live, then we can throw a nice welcome home party, ey?

The Integrated Companies of The Vortex Corporation, secret communications with the Empire?

Ey, folks, how ya doing? Cool-Touch here, bringing you the latest in intercepted communications to wet your appetite.

As you may have heard, Tatiana Taurain, our ever loveable Jaiden officer, Body guard to the Emperor and princess of the Empire {Who can’t keep a girlfriend longer then a week}, Marcus Deleroen, Major Domo of the Emperor as well as the representative of the Imperial family {And to boring and devoid of a private life to have any good gossips about}and lastly {and most certainly the least of the three.} every West Landers favorite Corporate jack-ass, Herbrrun Adelaar, have recently gone on a diplomatic mission of good intent to the Vortex Corporation.

Well, that’s what I and my colleagues here thought as well for a pretty big time, till a certain little bird brought us some news on what they are really doing.

Seems the Enduring Empire has been holding double communications with the big VC, the normal communications were there for all to see, the usually ass sucking from both parties to make friends, beneath it though the Enduring Empire has proven to be more sneaky then we thought.
Apperantly the sole reason the three good will representatives are going to the VC fella’s down south and west, is because of business.

Big deal, right? Well, yeah considering were talking a major overhaul here. Their planning to renovate the whole empire. Sounds familiar? You need only think back 50 years to remember when the Tandori Corporation usurped the Imperial throne and tried the exact same thing.
If these VC fella’s are the same, expect enormous lay-offs people, these folks are bit more advanced then the Tandori were, unemployedment is going to be sky high with all their techno advanced crap.

Hey... interesting... One doesn't get stuff this from the CBC and Newsday. It was.. new. Engaging. Fresh. Or, if you were part of the government in Tarakalar, possibly something to be sanitized with an industrial-grade can of anti-bacterial spray.

For NISAK, it was to go in the file of things to be watched. When a group of people in a country started spreading their own news, especially when it could be considered 'unpopular' it always had interesting results.

Frost/Shard here once more, people. And as I promised, here is more information on the sole monotheistic religion of our nation.

Cult leader:
The leader of the Quoan’dal est Ure, is a man called Sosjom’dal. Despite the fact I have quite a reasonable amount of sources we have managed to find almost nothing on this guy. We know that the first confirmed sighting we have of him was seven years ago in the Aln province in the North Land. He apparently was already preaching for his ‘religion’ back then, but fortunately the North Landers are sane enough not to deal with any of that monotheistic crap.

So the man’s logical next step? Going down to the South Land and try there, something where he more than succeeded. The man is to be estimated in his mid thirties, he is of Caucasian descend, has shoulder length black hair and ‘piercing’ blue eyes. We have no pictures of the guy so far. He usually dresses in robes that are scarily similar to the old ‘Harskretn’ monotheistic group. {Those fella’s who once ruled the entire South Land in their old Empire.} {The robes appearance is; Brown/red, heavy fabric with long wide sleeves that cover the entire arms and hands, white colored under fabric, thick heavy hood that allows his entire face to be hidden. In addition he has added metal shoulder pads containing what is described as a horizontal eight that is ‘snapped’ in half. As well as a metal plate over his chest that shows a ‘A’ with some kind of helmet over it.}

Also, the guy is apparently rich which is probably by inheritance as his Cult doesn’t demand it’s members to give away all their worldly possessions to the church.
And that’s all we know about him so far, don’t even know if he has a home outside the Cathedral of Illumination

Primary influence base:
The Cathedral of Illumination. This building {It’s huge by the way, people. Seriously.} is located in the Ge’laan province of the South Land. It resembles some kind of combination of Gothic architecture, traditional European cathedrals and East Land temples.
I seen it first hand, personally I think the whole place is scary, there are hooks, gargoyles, depressive looking faces and barbed metal arches sticking out of the walls and roofs at seemingly random spots.

The building itself is large enough to house over a five-hundred followers {There are currently 3 00 who live in the cathedral}. Admittedly from what I seen the rooms they have aren’t that special, but still. Add to that that the entire neighborhoods around it are primarily dominated by followers of this cult means that their control there is virtually absolute.
Seriously, I doubt that you can get a job or a home there these days unless you follow that religion, not that they will admit such things of course…

Symbol/Emblem of the Cult; A bald muscular man with his arms held out and his palms pointing up, cut in half and placed on opposite sides so the hands face each other, a brassier with a fire in it placed between the opposite half’s.

Number of followers; According to government estimates, the Quoan’dal est Ure has roughly some 80.000 followers, the majority of which reside within the South Land, but they have small churches in the West Land as well.

Further more this cult has an active recruitment stance, their spreading leaflets, have commercial time in the South Land, Channel 5C has a hour long show each Sunday, since two weeks, as if they were a normal religion! And to top it off, were not even safe on the internet either since they are using web adds to spread their filth even more to us as well as Outlanders.

People, I ask of you, how could we allow this to go so far?

Water poisoning in the South Land, serious danger, crops ruined, people dieing.

Cool-Touch is here, folks. Got news for you from the farmers land.

Investigators have concluded that there is serious case of water poisoning going on in the Be’laan, Dall and Yem provinces of the South Land. Nearly twenty prercent of all crops in these provinces have been ruined, farm animals are dead and people are suffering from the strangest symptoms, a few of them have had rashes that had completely eaten away their skin, trust me folks, that ain’t a pretty sight and I am willing to bet a thousand Matan that it feels and is even worse then it looks.

The first sick people were noticed about 8 days ago, at first they thought it disease in the air, but now they are certain that the cause lies in the water, apparently the water treatments plans were up to the job of purifying whatever the heck was in the water.

Estimates are that the first deaths will come soon, more people will get sick, more farm animals will die and the crops will get worse still, this is serious folks, if to much damage happens to the crops of the South Land, then all of the Empire suffers from it.

And don’t buy any fish for a while, just to be on the safe side.

In the past twenty years, we have watched how our taxes went from a pleasant 20% all the way up to the 94% it is today. Now that is harsh isn’t it? Apparently not harsh enough as the Education boards have decided that they do not have enough money yet to satisfy their needs.

Seriously, I should have become a teacher, their about the best paid people there are these days. Estimates are that in two years from now, taxes will have gone up another 2 percent.

So I ask all of you this; For the love of the Twelve prophets, get off your LAZY asses and sign the damned petitions for the tax cut that are going around, or do you all like living under this frigging burden!?

As one of the very very few people to be given the opportunity to travel outside our borders i am well aware of the fact you guys know NOTHING about us, unless its filtered by the 'government' (and thats another story) so ill give you the low down on us before i start reporting the dirt vie found :D
we Tarrans are peaceful, passive, tree hugging hippies for the most part, we are all humans, though from personal experience we stand about a foot taller then the humans in the Vortex Corporation. All out tech is based on biology of some description, which is über (really good). The government 'works' (though i use that term VERY loosely) as a continuously elected set of councils in a hierarchy to the High Council, e.g., i am a member of the council for IT research (AI), witch answers to the council for Computing Research, which answers to the council for the university Administrandum etc. etc... this means that if our delegate in the council for computing research makes a discussion we don't agree with, he is removed, and we elect a new delegate who we can trust to make the right discussion. IN THEORY a very good way of doing things.
I'm sure you've seen pictures of Yagdrassal, the great tree in the gulf of Ador, Thats where i live, its our capitol and its nice, i could spend hours telling you how its nice, but ill save it for when you come visit :D

Hear the drums, my friend, hear the drums of death’s hunger for man’s glory.

After countless of centuries of peace, the Enduring Empire has now formally entered a war. A civil war of another nation.

A part of me is filled with… greed. Another part of me is filled with wariness.

I, like many of the People, hunger to show to the world that the Enduring Empire is a force worthy of recognition. A force that cares for peace the most, but is willing to wake from it’s slumber for the causes it finds right.

Yet can we trust the motives? These are our people, our friends that are being send out to help the rebels of Tarasovka out in their fight. Not ours, theirs. Our friends that might be forced to take up arms against other Sisgardian nations to aid the ones ‘we’ deem to be the worthy ones.

Yes, I am not without sympathy for the cause of the rebels, yet is it our place to aid them? Or is this merely an attempt of the Taurain to gain more popularity?

I can’t say to be honest. So all I, all we, can do now. Is listen to the drums, and hope that our friends do not satisfy deaths hunger on these days just yet.
