I'm looking to kick off New Xanthal's RPing now that I've established it somewhat in history. I need either a future nation or a modern nation that doesn't mind working with future nations to provide a character to the story. The premise is that the New Xanthalian government wants to shut down a corporation that they know is operating illegally. They've asked for an expert on investigating and prosecuting corporate crime from the international community. The RP will be about the guy sent interacting with the government, the people, and the corporations of this ultra-capitalist, right-wing society in their endeavour to bring the errant corporation to justice with the help (and hinderance) of New Xanthalian officials and laws. It could end up lasting a long time and span many pages, so only those willing to stick with it for the long run need apply. I want a good, intelligent RP, and only you can make it happen for me. If you're intrested, post here. This will be a sometimes serious, sometimes funny RP that will not majorly affect your nation at large, so it will be laid back OOCly.

Our nation jumped over the 20th century. We have horse-drawn buggies and ploughs, and cloned beast armies, gene-spliced crops, and a robust space exploration program.

Would we qualify?

Um... I guess so, if you have good corporate investigators.

One known only as "Agent Mauve", a master of disguise, no one knows who he or she really is;

Edward Prime, a very young squeaky voiced hacker who can bust any system open;

Ob Irkutsk, our muscle, very tough, fearless;

and Roger Over, our veteran and team leader.

Even a negative response would be better than nothing.

Apologies, I've been so busy dealing with Xanthal's military over the past two days that I forgot about this. It's bad over there. A couple of days ago I did one of my periodic reviews to check for accuracy in the Armada. On a whim I checked the Military numbers too and was dismayed to find that if I had been paying attention my Military would have been consuming my entire GDP for decades NS time. Needless to say, the self-ignore of my own forces was immediate. I've spent the last two days trying to put a new Military together virtually from scratch. Fortunately my Armada operates independently, so I still have my ships. Anyway, sorry to go off topic. I'll leave it up to you which agent to send. When you post your choice, be aware that I'll be changing the topic title and switching to IC.
