Okay, in my latest RP ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=135552&highlight= ) and in many unrelated threads I've made hints to a very neat surpise forthcoming in my current RP's. I have also made very generous use of the 'twisted' icon ( :twisted: ). From this it's pretty damn obvious that I've got something huge planned. But, before I pull it, I want to see what people think it is.

Whoever can guess my surpirse will not only receive much respect from me, he/she will also receive immunity from the surpise currently under discussion. I'll also throw in some cookies, since my respect isn't worth spit to some people and a lot of people really couldn't care less if I included them or not.

So, who has a guess?

The DRA has the Colossus? 8)

That wouldn't really be much of a surprise, since they're the only ones who possibly could have it. But nice try

I have a couple guesses.

A) The duke isn't really dead. (Unlikely but who knows.)

B) A great and sinister force is about to be unleashed on the universe. Possibly the worst since teletubbies.

The Duke not being dead one is good, but it's been done to often (Remember Salm? And Jimathon? And a whole bunch of others)

I bet something is going on behind the scenes. Inciting these smaller Klonorish states to kill each other. The organization that killed the Duke is probably behind it for whatever reason. Perhaps they want to reform the Klonor empire in their image, instead of the dukes.

Nah, the clone thing's been done to death, I've always felt that using a clone is nearing godmodding. It makes it so that you can always undo whatever's happened to you (You assassinated my President? Well, he has a clone! You blew up my army? I'll clone an entire new one! etc.)

Let me guess...A long-lost Klonor colony, formed by one of your "Nexus" destroyer/colonyships has been producing an unstopable fleet for months.

Or there is a secret Klonor society that has an immense fleet and will reunite the empire.

I've already tried the going Medieval thing. It was fun, but nothing really great.

How's this: A huge fleet was sent on an unknown mission by the duke some years ago and is just now returning, to the dismay of...well...everyone else?

Okay, I've got it: The Templars are back, they've taken control of Klonor's telluric currents and are threatening to destroy the world unless every first born male is buried alive, to everyone's suprise, the government was able to kill every first born male in Klonor without anyone noticing...but now the dead are hungry...(cue music).

I'm not sure how to respond to that. I shall chose to say nothing, since I have no wish to be deleted. :wink:

As long as it doesn't involve an evil alien race that could threaten civilization itself. I've already done that in A Scream in Space, A Dark Alliance, and A Scream in Space III - A Greater Threat.

Okay, possibly a rogue fleet comes to attack? Without aliens or puppies. And they're really powerful.

Perhaps Klonor isn't really a human civilization at all, and they are really an advanced alien species that appears to be human to fool us? Then throw in a super large/advanced fleet, and whamo. Instant surprise.

Or perhaps Klonor is going to start using Shivan ships?

My guess...

1) Stevolemue comes back from wherever he's been for so long and procedes to reunify the Empire under his horny, drunken name.

2) The Duke comes back and comes out of the closet. (We all know it has to happen someday.)

Also, it would give me a reason to come back. I was already planning to when the servers got all upgradafied, but if I had a reason, I could come back sooner and remind all these kids what drunken, innuendo filled RPing is all about!

OOC: Okay, I really want to spring the trap sometime soon. So, here's the new set-up. This thread will stay open until 10:00 P.M. That thread has died, and it was supposed to be a major thing (Like what the Epsilon Pegasi thread turned into). That was also going to be the location of the "Surprise."
