what kind of country are you running there, low crime but black market, no free business low political and social freedoms, and you export too much cheese. it could be worse but its not a sparkling utopia.

Reasoning:

Your nation is still young, but even at the point that you are now in terms of how large your population is, you are STILL developing an economy? A good or strong economy is a good indicator of a nation being run well, even if it were a dictatorship. Also, considering your political platform (dictatorship) I would also recommend you work on your Civil Rights. Give the people at least this. It will be seen as gratitude for them supporting you, and you will recieve positive results (issues).

I looked at my nation again, despite the recent annual State of the Union report delivered to my desk a month ago. Based off of what I have, I would honestly rate myself as a 7.

true, because this game (as fun and wonderful as it is) take everything to one extreme or the other, so ANY nation comming out of here would be just plain wacky in our world

I would have disagreed with those ratings.... but now I think I'll second them. Your country's leader clearly has some psychological problems, such as inability to take a joke.
