I'm auctioning off a few of my puppets.

I'm keeping my best two.

The ones for auction are:

Glimmer Twins
Divine Brotherhood
Kiss Miarse

T-gram me if you're interested, or just duke it out here.

I would have expected a 7 month old nation to act more mature than this. Not only is selling another nation just plain stupid, it's also a major godmod.

What? I have to keep tabs on this sort of stuff.

I don't have a problem with the selling of "nations", but unless there's a good RP reason behind it, you should never sell the people associated with them. Take my recent sale of Xanthalian Earth. My main nation, Xanthal, wasn't usnig its Earth claims anymore, so it decided to sell the continent of Zithal where Xanthalian Earth was located. No people were transferred, just the land. I can't think of a good backstory for transferring control of an entire population in that manner, but I'm guessing it would involve a Psychotic Dictatorship. The point being that, in a normal country, you can't just tell your citizens "you've just been sold to another nation" without some kind of repercussions.

Oh and like you're in a position to say anything? You're younger than me by two months. I don't consider this godmodding. Godmodding is when you exert extreme power over a nation that isn't yours.

ie:

I have two nations.

I decide I'm bored, so I nuke the crap out of my puppet. This isn't godmodding, this is just being retarded because I'm bored.

VS.

I have my one nation.

I decide that I'm bored/pissed off, so, I'm at war with another nation. Now, if I said, "ahaha! you're all dead because I nuked you!" that would be godmodding.

Now then, look at the real world. There have been instances where land has been sold and the people were forced to either move out or go along with the transition. The Lousiana Purchase and the purchase of Alaska.

I don't see the problem.

But, if there is...

Bah! I don't want these nations to die, but I have three nations that require more care; Kryozerkia, which is my first one, Kutou-koku which I made so I would have a practice zone and Farflorin, which is a former province of Kryozerkia.

Now then... Fine...

Glimmer Twins
Kiss Miarse
Divine Brotherhood

OOC: I remember that sale. And it works because, just as Xanthal said, no people were involved. I believe Alcona and Hubris set the population to zero, is that right?

Roycelandia would be interested in taking over Glimmer Twins as an Imperial Colonial Overseas Territory. Currently, we have a Colony in Africa and another one in the Pacific, so Glimmer Twins would be in good company...

That's assuming it's still available...

Communique to Kryozerkia

I would be honored to accept the administration of Glimmer Twins and Divine Brotherhood. I understand well that sometimes the burden of Empire can become too great, and one must sometimes lighten the burden. I can assure you that either of both nations will be treated fairly and responsibly- I've noticed that both seem to be in a state of economic recession, and I'm sure we of the Greif could alleviate this situation. We would be most pleased to bring these territories under the guiding wing of our Serene Imperial Commonwealth, and are confident the citizens of both nations will find happiness and prosperity under their new ruler. I await your reply

Turns out he's a resurrected nation, and he's in quite the position to say something, versus a humble December nation who doesn't even remember my nation selling business back in the day. :?

Only Kiss Miarse is left.

I have other puppets, but I need to change the password first on them.

Vrak: I haven't checked lately, but I don't think he ever did reset the population. I can only assume that the player I sold it to (I don't even remember their name anymore) is abiding by the rules I set forth.

If it's still available, I'll take it off your hands.
