To my most esteemed counterpart, I bring bad news. I am sure you have seen the security footage that I received several hours ago (that would be the security footage of the Duke dying an agonizing death) and am as distraut as I am. However, we must move on. Deneb is lost to us and Regulus has been thrown to the dogs, Epsilon Pegasi is overrun with those damn elves (The second planet was a refuge for persecuted elves, I let them live there when some nation was trying to pull a "Kill all the elves" thing) and Guanyu has already gained a foothold in Tau Ceti. Yet, we can not give up hope. We can not let the Klonor way of life go the way of Old Earth (By this he refers to the NS Earth, which is divided into thousands of nations doing all different sorts of things, none working for the whole). We must fight to protect it!

First, we must face the truth: The Klonor Empire is dead. We can not change that. So, we must move forward. I propose an Alliance between our two systems. We two control the bulk of one of the greatest Space Fleets ever to grace our galaxy, we can not let it go to waste. We must figh to secure our territory and the protection of those under our command!

OOC:I'm fine with you posting, it's just that IC'ly you'd have no way of knowing what's going on. Except for Central Facehuggeria, nobody should really know what's going on. You could send someone to investigate why you've lost communication and then initiate communications, but right now you'd pretty much be in the dark.

OOC:

I'm sorry Klonor, but I need this to happen for the correct intitation of my upcoming RP.....

IC:

Billions of miles away from the nearest system, somewhere near Alpha Centauri and Nova Kretani in the Milky Way Galaxy, floated freely the Former-USSNR Explorer, modelled after the Voyager Deep Space Probe created by the organization called NASA, it had some modifications that enhanced its capabilities as a Deep Space Probe. One of them was the ability to intercept signals with its sensitive antenna, ranged like any Pulse Capturing mechanism.

Today, however, it had no specific objectives transmitted from its creators new Homeworld called Novar. Explorer, once notified of the change of location, had used its Sub-Space drive, the first ever prototype of the drive made small enough to fit in the probe itself, to check the system in which its creators new Homeworld resided in. After a calculated stay for system exploration via long-range pulse transmissions, which were simple Microwave bursts that went through objects and sent pings back to the transmitter dish on one of its three extension antenna's to allow the CPU AI a good amount of starting information to create a 3D image inside its memory banks.

Explorer indeed had an AI most capable of doing things on its own, and indeed the AI had capable thought patterns of simple logical asumptions, and such, to allow simple tasks to stay simple. Its creators did not intend, however, for Explorer to become aware. It was a Modern technological design, suddenly capable of pre-sentient thought and awareness. Intern, it learned from its voyages ways to succeed in its programmed tasks, some tasks it did for its own curiosity.

As Explorer went over some data from something that it had picked up exactly three months, four days, twelve minutes, and two seconds earlier, it picked up a transmission from somewhere. Analyzing the type of transmission, Explorer determined it was of a burst type, easily capable of being tricked into sending a copy of itself to Explorer's waiting transceivers. Intern, it intitiated a quick highly intensified Microwave burst at an exact moment and succeeded in tricking the burst of data from an unknown origin to split a copy of itself into an exact direction that lead it to Explorer's transceivers.

Moments later Explorer had begun analyzing the bursts data compliment, coming to the conclusion that an important topic was the subject of the burst. Seconds later Explorer determinded that a message is required to be sent to notify its creators of the situational status, and sent the following message:

[code:1:d2ea86a58a]//KLONOR\\ has begun activation of >>PLAN<< to Preserve//Protect >>EXISTANCE<<. >>PLAN<< will//has be//been initiated.

//KLONOR\\ >is< still >>FUNCTIONAL<<[/code:1:d2ea86a58a]

OOC: My Direct Beam Communications happen to go through Sub-Space and are thus un-intercptable by anybody not posessing Sub-Space technology (and right now I'm the only one who does), but that was a good enough post that I don't really care

I have received your proposal, and I see the validity of your argument. We must work to keep what the have worked so hard to build, even if we must fight to to keep it. Here's what I propose: We blow the hell out of the first person who tries to step into one of our two systems.

Presuming that goes well, we must not be content to merely sit and whither away. We must work to bring back what has been lost, not to merely preserve what remains. Epsilon Pegasi is still a riot of civil war and Deneb is practically impenetrable without additonal support (The newest defense technology was installed there even before it made its way to the military bases, it'd be a tough nut for even them to crack), but Regulus is still available. The System Commander has tried to set up his own pathetic little dictatorship, but we can quickly smash that flat. It will be our first to step towards a newer and longer lasting Empire!
