As of 9:32 A.M, Pablo Constantine I, beloved and first Comrade-Emperor of Pergutoria, has died of heart complications. After ruling for a glorious 39 years, Comrade-Emepror Pablo Constatine I, was checked by the imperial medical staff yesterday, but nothing could be done. The Comrade--Emperor will be buried in St. Jean D'Arc Monastery in the village of Navarrino tommorow. He leaves 3 sons and 2 daughters. The eldest child, Rodrigo Vazquez, will continue the Vazquez ruling family, pending the official approval of the populace. For those ignorant of Pergutorian political matters, everything the emperor does that causes contreversy is voted upon by the people, hence a vote of approval is needed for Prince Rodrigo Vazquez to suceed his father. There is a 98% approval rating for the Prince, who brought many educational reforms to his father's attention. After the votes are confirmed, the new emperor will enter St. Michael Basillica, kneel in front of the altar, choose as a second name the name of a previous historical emperor, take the Guernica Oath, be blessed by Cardinal Sebestian Etcheabarria, and then parade through the streets of Nuevo Bilbao. He will then retreat to the Imperial Palace, where he will recieve the foreign dignitaries in order to form the foriegn policy of Pergutoria. Stay tuned to PNN for more developments.
