OOC: Only me and Resi can post in here IC.

IC: Theo Bailey had travelled on Resi Air to get to his destination, and was now in Resi City, still waiting in the Airport. He looked around at the stunningly advanced Airport, and then simply called ahead for the shuttle that would take him to his final destination.

Several shuttles passed before Bailey saw the shuttlebus he was looking for, a tall white medical bus that seemed to shine with the light of the sun. Emblazened across its side was a giant red plus sign that was slioghtly askew and the words "Resi Rebirth Centre" written in large black type. With a hiss of breaks and a short jolt, the bus slowed to a stop in front of Bailey, its doors swinging open to reveal an equally immaculate interior, blazing white and completely sterile. The bus driver, wearing a white uniform with a skewed plus on his hat, looked down the stairs leading up from the door at Bailey.
"Are you..." he said, pausing to look at a list he took out of his coat pocket, "Mr. Theo Bailey? And if you are, I'll need to see your ticket before you can ride this bus."

IC: "I'm Theo" he said, producing his ticket from a back-pocket "Got m'ticket right here"

OOC: Any idea how long this might take Resi? Just curious.

IC: "I'm Theo" he said, producing his ticket from a back-pocket "Got m'ticket right here""Aye," the driver grunted back, "Then come aboard. We've got a schedule to keep."
As soon as Baily got on board, the bus began to roll. Eateries and offices flew by the windows as the bus drove down the highway, and several times it stopped to pick up others, each was asked the same question as Bailey. The first person it picked up looked like some sort of street punk, then a man with a malshaped face, then a mildly-attractive woman who, after she sat down, kept glancing over at Bailey. The next person wasn't a person at all, but a catperson, fairly common in the Resi Corporation, who seemed to have lost his tail. And so the bus continued to pick up people and drive, until at last it had reached the building and stopped with a hiss, the doors sliding open. The other passangers moved to get out of the bus.

IC: Theo spoke at the woman who kept glancing at him as they exited the bus "I'm sorry ma'am, you seemed to be staring at me on the bus. Can I help you at all?" He spoke in a low voice by instinct, so as not to insult her by drawing un-due attention. He was getting a small case of the shakes by now 'Isn't every day your nation asks you to go change sexes' he thought to himself.

IC:
"Oh, um, uh..." she said, blushing, "No reason, none at all. I'm so sorry for staring at you, please forgive me."
She then stared down into her lap, avoiding all eye contact with anyone else on the bus.
The driver then spoke over the intercom, "Will all passangers not returning to the airport exit the vehicle at this time. Thank you."
The woman jumped to her feet, startled, and bushed again. She then walked out the door with her head hung low.

OOC: I'm assuming he obviousley needs to get off.

IC: Theo got off the bus, and moved to the Rebirth Building, along with the other passengers. He caught up with the woman again "I didn't mean to embarrass you ma'am, I'm terribly sorry. I'm just a little nervous, that's all"

"Oh, that's okay," the woman said, looking up at Theo. She managed a giggle, "So, you're nervous, too? What are you here for?"
The doors to the building opened, and the crowd of people they were in the center of all moved for the entrance, moving Theo and the woman along with them. She gasped as someone ran into her, then looked down again, blushing. Obviously this was a woman that couldn't take human contact too well.

OOC: Might be amusing :?.

IC: Theo looked at the woman for a moment "Well" he said, seeming reluctant to say anything. He was still speaking in low tones for some reason "My Government sent me here, they won't tell me what they want me to do this for, but I'm supposed to come out of this a woman. I'm not sure about this myself, but I've got my instructions, and I did sign up to serve the Government"

"Oh," she says, looking down at the ground, "I see. That's really too bad, I'm sorry for you..."
A man dressed in a labcoat with the same skewed plus on the front that the busdriver had approaches the group, and surveys the lot of them with his eyes. "Hm... yes, yes..." he says to himself in soft tones, "There's 2... 4... 6..... 27 of you... *ahem*"
Speaking up, the man addresses the group.
"Follow me to Room 112, people! You'll all be modified by our team there."
"Oh goddess," the woman groans, "I'm not sure if I can do this..."

((OOC: Most of the Resi Corporation worships Eris, the Goddess of Chaos, whose title the woman used much as people in most other nations would use the words "God" or "Lord". Coincidentally, our leader is marrying Eris. Purly coincidence, mind you. :wink: ))

IC: Theo looked at the woman "Don't go feeling sorry for me, I did sign up" When she expressed her doubts that she could go through with the process, he put a hand on her shoulder "Sure you can. What are you here for, anyhow?"

IC: As he moved along to the stated room, Theo was still shaking 'Calm yourself, it's no use shaking like a bloody child!' he mentally berrated himself 'If you aren't prepared to do this sort of thing, you shouldn't go signing on for high-end projects like this. When you do, you're always asked to do extreme deeds'
