This is not a war to be fighting the removal of drugs brings about as many if not more problems then letting them exist. You must also consider that your people could benefit from a tax put on the drug trade.

Our culture is very anti-drug.. heck, even starbucks has a hard time keeping shop open in Raysia :P

People will get trade regardless of what restrictions you put on it and that money will fund bad things instead of your government and those already addicted can be driven to madness if they cant get their satisfaction. Drugs are a part of life and trying to ban them has proven itself time and times again to be very shortsighted.

As you may have gathered, drugs laws in BG are very lax, but there is no Starbucks within cruise-missile range of The People's Commonwealth :)

Perhaps we are liberal but the drug trade has brought in a tremendous amount of money if you condier how long we've existed and it has caused little to no legal problems

The drugs trade is just as unlawful and immoral as prostitution. The money are not clean, they are the money of our people's blood and sweat. We can not let this vampire suck us dry.

Addiction also acts a distraction to hard work and causes laziness. The drug addict's sub-culture includes prostitution and crime. We are simply here to protect our citizens.

while we object to your anti-drug crusade, we neither condemn nor plan on doing anything about it. however, the Benevolent Dictatorship of Berëza requests assurance that this campaign's aims and results will not be imposed on us, our people, or our freedom to use and abuse drugs as we see fit.

They are the problem, they exploit the misery of others. How can such criminal enterprises be "regulated"?

Cvalda does not allow any behavior which can become detrimental to a person other than the one performing the act, and so harmful drugs are illegal, as they often harm people other than the user.

Stamping out the ilegal drug trade is completely foolish. Think about the real effects of these gifts from above.

1) Generally speaking it is the poor and useless who are stup[id enough to become addicted to these substances. They are the same people who make up the massive drain on government resources through demanding welfare support. They live in slums that are an eyesore to us respectable people.

2) It is the wealthy among us who really gain the benefits from the drug trade, as they are the only ones who can afford the large shipments required to satisfy the users needs. They in turn, must launder the money through their legitimate businesses. This generates extra taxation $$$ for our government.

3) As the addicted and hopeless die off, as they tend to do in large numbers, we are then able to move in and tear down the slums they inhabit, reclaiming the land for more suitable uses, and eventually encouraging the wealthy to build their homes. Thus the number of wealthy people living in our communities increases, as does the amount of tax we collect from increased spending.

Sooner or later, if managed correctly, the users of these drugs will die. This can be helped along by adding things like battery acid to the base substance. Once they are dead we have no further need for welfare or cheap housing. The poor can move to places like Sino and get looked after there.

Instead of banning these substances we should encourage their use, especially the use of drugs that we taint to make more lethal. It can only be good for our people if we get rid of the poor and useless.

we won't set up any such markets in Sino; the statement referred only to our internal markets, and legitimate ones established in third-party countries.

In Imitora, anything smoked is outlawsed (save cigars). Further, anythign injested through the nostrils is also illegal. However, anythign in pill form is well welcomed. This includes, but is not limited to, MDMA, LSD, PCP, and others. Further, most 'pain killers' such as codine, hydrocodine, vicatin, morphine, and the like.

Most of the above drugs are produced by the pharmacuetical devison of The Umbrella Corporation, or by one of the many smaller producers, and production facilities are commonly inspected by the Imitoran Federal Narcotic Inspection Devision of the Imitoran Treasury.

We find outlawing of smoked and nasaly injested narcotics appropriate, but the outlawing of other substances rather...pointless.

In Cattious, all recreational drugs are legal, but it is illegal to force them upon people. It is also illegal to force people not to use them if they want to use them, as that would be inhibiting freedom of choice. Recreational drugs are legal, mostly because efforts to stop drug trafficing stop only a small percentage of the drugs; that small percentage is also how much the price of those drugs goes up by. By illegalizing drugs, you are wasting your government's money and cheating the drug users out of even more of their money.

Cattious will oppose any attempts to force the illegalization of any drugs on any country with military action. Do what you will with your own people, but do not interfere with those you have no jurisdiction over.
