NS Honor Guards Reviewing Tournament (open RP, modern tech)
The Armed Republic of Sino, being a fondly militaristic and nationalistic nation would like to host or help prepare a contest where participating nations present their their best Honor Guards (Guards of Honor) in front of the select panel of judges (senior military officials).
Such an event would great for any nation's military. One of the key values of the military is discipline, we shall see which nation's military is the most disciplined and punctual.
The may even be ceremonial and BDU heats.
Any questions and comments?

Gentlemen, just take this as warfare without the bloodshed.
Is active camo allowed?
That's up to you, but for the judges to decide about the appearance of your troops.

All honor gaurds and personal gaurds of officials are judged on their ability to not be detected. Offense nothing, the best defense is not being seen.

OOC: Sorry, mate. Its just that in my idea of NS, future tech seems to be rather far fetched.

Not exactly drilling but marching in review. It shows pride and discipline. The Honor Guards are a corp of the military that specializes in ceremonial drills. Their drill movements are the most perfected of the force.

By no means is such a tournament is going to be public knowledge just yet, but members of the ARSCF Honor Guard have noticed visible increases in the vigourous and hardcore daily training.

We are still in need of a venue for this.

Do you mean the pics?
Otherwise, they aren't really similar to any nations. There are multiple types of Hat Guard units. Hat Guard generally signifies that they have had much more extensive training. Though not as much as our Red Hammer commando units, which IC few know of their existance. The ones we would send to the competition will probably be Army units.

We would be interested in sending parts of the 77th Motor Rifle Division to the competition.
They are LRR's best drill unit, and will bring with them the Troubadours Battalion, the LRRA band, which has in its ranks 200 drummers, 250 Bassists, 200 Guitarists, 100 assorted brass players, 20 Theremin players, and 10 Synthesizer operators. The unit uses specially modified Land Rovers to carry their amplifiers, drums, lighting, and other equipment too heavy to be carried by individual troubadours. They have recieved very high ratings wherever they go, and their performance of If The River Was Whiskey is rated as one of the best.

As always if a nation's military feels like showing off its best drilling, thye should do it here. We also allow unarmed drilling. However, this is NOT a martial arts contests. So do not bother stopping in the middle of the drill ground and start throwing kicks and punchs at the air in front off.

Sino is most willingly to welcome Zhang's participation. We are still searching for an place to host and house this event and currently we have San Gang (OOC: Would someone tell him about this), Xiaguo or _Taiwan in mind.
We bloody need to see the ROCA march, back in the days of Chiang, the R.O.C. didn't have separatist poofs like they do now! Bring on the nostalgia!

Muktar is willing to participate. We have an organization of higly disciplined soldiers from the various city states known as the Raven Guild. We wish to know how many of their members to send.

Yep, you said nothing about excessive music, we can play the music only when we're at the viewing point where the main audience is and the judges and important people etc so that the whole march won't sound like a buch of racket.
Just let is be brass bands and drums but none of that modern rock or pop crap. The military is the military not a pile of horse manure in uniform. But be sure that this is not a tattoo, a few piece of instrument is different to a stadium filled with military musicians.

OOC: Someone has never drilled for real...
The Socialist Union of Kerla has organized a location for the contest. With the World Cup going on we have decided to have it in our biggest city, Diamond City. It will be go through the main streets of Diamond City with the judges sitting up at the City Hall. We expect to have a lot of people so therefore we have prepared and have our police forces ready. Since we do not allow cars inside the city (only on highways and major roads) this will not be a problem. We hope that this acceptable to everybody.
