NS Honor Guards Reviewing Tournament (open RP, modern tech)

Sino
25-03-2004, 05:51
The Armed Republic of Sino, being a fondly militaristic and nationalistic nation would like to host or help prepare a contest where participating nations present their their best Honor Guards (Guards of Honor) in front of the select panel of judges (senior military officials).

Such an event would great for any nation's military. One of the key values of the military is discipline, we shall see which nation's military is the most disciplined and punctual.

The may even be ceremonial and BDU heats.

Any questions and comments?

Not exactly drilling but marching in review. It shows pride and discipline. The Honor Guards are a corp of the military that specializes in ceremonial drills. Their drill movements are the most perfected of the force.

Do you mean the pics?

Otherwise, they aren't really similar to any nations. There are multiple types of Hat Guard units. Hat Guard generally signifies that they have had much more extensive training. Though not as much as our Red Hammer commando units, which IC few know of their existance. The ones we would send to the competition will probably be Army units.

We would be interested in sending parts of the 77th Motor Rifle Division to the competition.

They are LRR's best drill unit, and will bring with them the Troubadours Battalion, the LRRA band, which has in its ranks 200 drummers, 250 Bassists, 200 Guitarists, 100 assorted brass players, 20 Theremin players, and 10 Synthesizer operators. The unit uses specially modified Land Rovers to carry their amplifiers, drums, lighting, and other equipment too heavy to be carried by individual troubadours. They have recieved very high ratings wherever they go, and their performance of If The River Was Whiskey is rated as one of the best.

As always if a nation's military feels like showing off its best drilling, thye should do it here. We also allow unarmed drilling. However, this is NOT a martial arts contests. So do not bother stopping in the middle of the drill ground and start throwing kicks and punchs at the air in front off.
