In a suprise merger Microsoft bought the United States today for the low sum of $10, ousting the current government, as Bill Gates immediately declared himself Supreme overlord. As his first executive act, Supreme Overlord Gates declared all non-microsoft goods and services contraband and set about buying out all businesses, liquizing those that resisted. When reached for comment, administration officials simply replied "assimilate or die, all your base are belong to us" Supreme Overlord Gates then set about activating the big brother software already installed in all windows machines, where his face can be seen by all people at all times. The government then crashed for no apparent reason and was down for hours, upon coming back up, the administration blamed it on "Linux Terrorists" We attempted to get a comment from a Linux user, but he was dragged off to a concentration camp before we could.
In a public adress earlier today, the Supreme Overlord declared that "resistance is futile" and "he owns us all"
This just in. Our station, WBSD, has refused to sell out to Microsoft for their offer of 50 cents and......*static*
