In a street in The Steel Legions, two men walked out. They sat down, and began chanting in the Holy Language. They took out a small cylinder out of the back of their backpacks, and threw it out towards people all around them. They continued this. The sticks were thermite explosives.
They then threw other assorted explosvies around, killing more. They then quickly rode off on two llamas.

A transmission was sent through an anonymous webmail account to the The Steel Legions government.
We are the Kia Conversion Militia, a group of ex-army officers not officially affiliated with the government of Kia-Derka. We demand that you apologize for your insults to Kia and all of your citizens convert, or the attacks shall continue. You may even catch the two valiant crusaders that did this, but more shall come!
This is the second holy crusade. The first is where we drove out the inhabitants of the land that Kia-Derka currently sits on. We worship, we serve!
And then from the official government:
We cannot condemn these attacks, for the holy book says not to condemn those with good intentions no matter what their methods. However, we must ask them to convert the nation of The Steel Legions through other means.
I shall personally ensure that anyone, even non-believers, killed in these attacks shall nonetheless get a plot of space in the Great Giant Cubicle in the Sky.
We ask them to end this so-called Crusade, since only I can declare a crusade by Kia.
