Dr. Heinrich Roberts flew in on a large civil maglev transport, carrying specialized construction equipment. It landed to an awaiting Hattian delegation.

"Greetings. I am Doctor Heinrich Roberts, Feline's foremost Arcology engineer. On this datapad, there's the blueprints for our arcologies, which you can scale up or down. There's also this file, on the screen right now, detailing the advantages of our arcologies.

Strong structual materials, making it hard to destroy
Security measures to stop unauthorized people from getting in
Corridors rather than roads much easier to defend if they do get in
Central tower with places for modular attachments on each floor. If no "pod" unit with extra space is added on, defenses can be palced there.
Central administration and computer complex.
Central computer divides it into levels and sections on those levels. Pneumatic tube elevators move personnel and material to whatever floor and section is needed.
Absolute climate control possible
Underground levels, ports, airports, parking garages, and any other city improvements can be modularly added on.

Prof. Viktor Chernenko of the Haton Engineering University walked over to the Feline engineer, "Hello Comrade..." After listening to Dr. Roberts speak for a little while Chernenko posed a question, "About how long would a smaller version of this take to construct?"

"Depends on the size. The full-size ones on this blueprint would take about a year, but smaller versions would take much less."

"Okay, let's get to work. The construction workers are at the site and most of the materials are ready, the rest of them are being shipped in and should arrive in a few hours."
