"We have all lost our innocence today." Said noted artist Spork Apollo as he adressed a crowd numbering in the thousands. As he lowered his head a teenage boy wearing nothing but a black harness and a leather mask cut the giant pink ribbon draped between two wooden posts a few yards behind the podium.
"It often takes a terrible tragedy to mark a national loss of innocence." said Spork Apollo in a post event interview. He further explained that "despite decades of revolutionary struggle, Free Outer Eugenia has
never experienced such a 'loss of innocence.' Some have remarked that this could be because we have never been afflicted with the blight of innocence, but better safe then sorry, right?" Spork Apollo said that his collective, Dirty Yellow Rat Bastards, plans on making this an annual event.
"While most nations lose their innocence once every few decades, we will lose ours every year."
