IC: *A man is seen with a news microphone, standing outside the gates of the massive Kushrenada Krycek Fortress*

"Greetings everyone, I'm Scott Patrick from Kechan National News Network, reporting to you live, from the Kushrenada Krycek Fortress. I'm here to bring you disturbing news: It has recently been reported that the Empress had fallen very ill due to unknown causes, as has her Sister. When asked about the extent of the illness plagueing our Empress and Her Sister, we were told that they have both been largely incapacitated. Noone will tell us anything more, not even the question we all want answered: Just who's in controll for now? I'm Scott Patrick with KNNN. Thanks for watching"

Within an hour the news reached King Doran in his study, deep in the Royal palace of Castle Dora, who responded by cursing and sending for Lord Ken. He looked at the Head of the RSC as he entered the room and spoke. "I do not care how, but I want to know what in all the saints is going on in Kecha with the Imperal family." Lord Ken nodded. "Very well my leige." Lord Ken bowed and left. As he walked though the halls he went to sent an crypted message to the head of the NADE warriors, to try to find out what he could that way. He also wrote up orders for several operatives to disbatched to quietly poke around.

OOC: The important thing is we didn't do it.

IC: Lord Ken recieved a fast reply to his query from General Ramius, the lady who was the ultimate authority in the Special Forces of her nation short of the Imperial Family. The message was simple:

"Why do you wish to know the condition of the Empress, and how much do you wish to know?"

King Doran needs to know whats going on, wither theres foul play involed. Its hard to belive that both the Emperess and her sister were struck down at the same time at such an dangerious time. I need to know so I inform the king so he can take proper action. I need know so I can know what actions I should take. Teritora and the RSC have always worked well together even if its couldn't be openly.

Sitting in a private room in the President;s residence, Aleczander Hamion idly watched TV. As he flipped though the channels, he picked up the KNNN news breif. holy shit he thought to himself. Whats going on there, the Empress is sick? with an unknown ailment? Hamion picked up the phonne by the night stand.

"Yes, get the chief, yes, yes, I want to find out as much as I can. Yes, do it. Good."

Hamion hung up and left the room, he no longer could sleep, he needed answers.

We have no information: The disease HAS been deemd potentially fatal, but doctors think they might have a cure, and they'll be trying it out within the hour. I'm Sergeant Scott Patrick. In the KKF: Empress Aidan Kushrenada lay still on the bed, with Her Sister on a bed next to her. Both of them were silent, and breathed heavily. The only others in the romm noticeably were 6 NADE-Warriors. All 6 of them were armed to the teeth, and personally chosen by General Ramius.

They carry their own supplies, but will consent to search of those supplies in the name of security. They reach the Kechan International Airport in the Capital, and are escorted to the KKF. Upon reaching it they are asked some small questions. Family, prior experience, stuff like that. Then they are escorted to the floor that the Empress, and the Sister of the Empress currently are being kept on. They are always escorted by an Aide who looks just a bit to serious to be a real Aide. He turns to face them upon exiting the lift "Now I must ask that you speak only in low voices. An affect of the illness is a serious headache"

BLARGistania: Very well. So long as they work with us, they will have no troubles.

The doctors have arrived at Kechan International, They are now awaiting retreval by Kechan secuirty forces for transport and instruction.

Both operatives nodded and Sir Jurn spoke softly. "Understood, Headaches uh. any is there any discoloration as well?" Sir Yurn waited for an response, he was ready to get to work.

The People are disheartened to hear that the Holy Empress is ill, and, despite the state of war Kecha and Cyberutopia currently share, send their hopes that she and her sister shall return to power soon, along with an offer of any form of aid they require.

They also add that they had absolutely nothing to do with it.

The doctors have arrived at Kechan International, They are now awaiting retreval by Kechan secuirty forces for transport and instruction.

They are quickly ushered to the KKF by a Security Detail. Once there they are asked to hand over thei equipment and supplies for a quick once-over.

Teritora: "The Empress has been a little pale" a new voice said. The source was a ways down the corridor, in the form of a figure dressed in an Onyx Black uniform with an Officer's cap, and wearing a Black overcoat with a Special Forces symbol on the collar. The gender of the figure cannot be determined yet.

Sir Yurn spoke then. "What about her eyes, any discolorization there or blood shot eyes? trouble breathing, pains in the chest, the midsection or complents of strange pains."

They both nodded and Sir Jurn spoke. "Yes we will." Sir Yurn opened the door and they both entered.

They are greeted by a dark room, with exactly 9 people inside, not including them: The Empress, the Emperess' Sister, a Doctor, and 6 NADE-Warriors. The two disease-afflicted members of the Imperial Family are both lying motionless on a pair of hospital bed setups.

the PRKS offers not general aid but aid in the means of vaccines and such. the only catch is on if you could provide transportation of this aid.

Sir Yurn spoke in soft low voice. "Let me guess Bright light is painful. I am Sir Yurn and the frowning fellow to my right is Sir Jurn, we are the poison and drug experts sent by Lord Ken. If theres an drug or poison being used we will find out." Sir Jurn meanwhile frowned, there was several poisons that he knew of that could cause what had been mentioned and his companian could likely point out several drugs that could do the same.

The Xanthalian Ministry of International Affairs declined to comment on the situation, and urged the need for Kecha to maintain integrity and to push for peace until Zelda Zabertini was able to take office.

Bright light hurts their eyes, and so does loud noise" the Doctor in the room said to them in Teritoran, with a heavy Kechan accent "We've found no clues about it thus far, except for the fact that it seems to have lethal potential. If we lose the Holy Emperess, and Her Sister we'll have no solid leader, and the Kushrenada Dynasty will end"

Sir Jurn replied. "Has their food been checked? Were they taking any medication before they were stuck down? I know of several poisons, some quite rare, or combinations of some that could do this. But I can't say for certian yet." Sir Yurn also spoke. "Theres some drugs that can do this as well."

IC: "There food is always checked, as a precaution. Such things were ordered by their Mother, and they never bothered to stop it. They were taking no regular medication, just the occasional pain-killers"

Sir Yurn spoke. "Did you insure that nobody poisoned or drugged the pain killers. That is one of the ways to get poison and drugs pass checks is in medication because many wouldn't look for it there."

The group of Doctors from Blargistania sat wearily around a table. They had been up many hours examining the two women, to no avail.

"No signs, no tracers, no visible or known methods of transport. We know nothing of this." remarked the head doctor in a tired voice.

"What other possibilites do we have?"

"Well, Sir Yurn thinks its a poison, but we have no evidence of that besides the symptomes. We need a carrier, then we may be able to pin it down."

"What about nanomachines?"

The doctors stopped dead in their tracks. Nanomachines, it was remote. They were experimental, controlled by only a few, and highly dangerous.

"Get an immediate check on protein counts and lymphocite counts. I want those numbers ASAP. Other than that, at this point all we can do is continue to check for poisons."

Teritora: "We checked the pain-killers when we knew they were taking them"

Sir Jurn spoke. "Hmm, I assume you checked tissue, hair, blood and various waste samples including sweat as well by now to see what you could find." Sir Yurn frowned in thought. "Contact poisons prehaps but you would more about that Jurn than I would, I am more an expert on drugs."

Did the Princess or her sister have any very powerful enemies, in Kecha or without?

The counts had come up with no new lympocite counts, and only a alighty high protein count. The possibilites for nanomachines, the doctors concluded, was still there, but still remote. They continued to check for poisons or giveaway signs of a new virus or bacteria that they had not seen before.

BLARG: The response was un-signed, but simple "All in power have enemies"

Teritora: "We took all manner of samples, tests, etc..., but we've found nothing"

Is there anyone is specific that intel knows about. He/she would need to be incedibly wealthy, have accsess to a bio-engineering company, and be able to get it within the confines of the Princesse's home. Perhaps an insider within the government?

BLARG: "We are currently in semi-open hostilities with a few nations. Some of them could have tried this"

We think there is a possibilty on nano-warfare going on here. There was a slightly increased protein count when we tested, something that may be residual. What we hypothesised could have followed like this: The Princess and her sister were exposed to the Nanomachines at some point, their lymphocite counts jumped because of the nanos, then faded out into proteins which would have left us with the increased count. However, we are still not sure. Aside from that, we will continue our tests to attempt to discern what, in particular, happened.

((Kecha, do you still need a culprit for this deed? My nation has highly secreted destructive nanotech, which seems to be the ailment this thread is leaning towards, and rogue agents on the loose with a motive. Could provide some tension to this thread. :wink: Whaddayasay?))

We think we may have isolated a source of the infection. We still need to deliberate with the other team of doctors, but we may have it. The nanomachines, if that is what they are, could have entered the body through a variety of means, but we think that they came through the entrance of food. They would be undetectable, looking like lymphocites, but once eneterd, the would do massive damage. Unfortunatly, there is no cure we know of, only the bioengineering corporation would have it. All of our information is still based on specualtion, but its a workable hypothesis at this moment.
