Berkeley or Bust

The Berkeley I remember was a bustling place full of all kinds of people and ideas. Yet the Berkeley I see now contains only three nationstates and is hardly diverse. I have asked the current leader if there are any plans to get Telegraph Ave. bustling again, but have gotten no response. Therefore, I am now inviting my fellow left-leaning college states and any other interested parties to join me in revitalizing Berzerkeley. On behalf of the burnt out hippies, cafe going intellectuals, gutter punks, nouveau yuppies, and all the other inhabitants of The Borderlands of Gemraven, we hope to see you there.

Since they put a Gap on Telegraph, I wouldn't hope for miracles.

Well the founder of Gap (some old guy whose name I can't remember) is a Berkeley grad it only makes sense. There are a lot of Berkeley grads that are more about money than hanging out on Telegraph. I suppose that's what keeps it diverse. Besides the numerous stores and stands at which uh smoking paraphernalia can be bought more than balances out the Gap.

Yeah, but we live in a world where John Ashcroft is after your bong.

Scary thought. Well we two nationstates have joined us so far, so...

I think I burned Berkeley off the face of the earth months ago, via orbital bombardment. At least, I'm pretty sure I did. It's all the place is good for.

Well I left it about a year ago. Now I have gone back so it can be good for something again. I see no signs of an orbital bombardment or whatever you were talking about.
