A grin crossed the face of Lord Reil Tian, Emperor of the Crimmond Imperial Totality. "Exactly." He watched the bald(but still lovely) woman in front of him, a geneticly engineered creation able to interface with computers via nural implants, pale visably. He watched her stare at him for a moment too long. She was a pacifist. He was a warrior.

No one did more than look up for a second when the report of a gunshot wafted down the corridors.

Reil looked to the man standing in the shadows.

"You're now in charge of Foriegn Relations. I hope you make it clear that we are not going to be stopped."

"I understand, Lord Tian. I shall make our intentions clear."

Three hours later, a signal went out from the heart of Europe, seat of the Empire, to any nation that picked it up.

A man standing in a darkened room was seen, hat obscuring his eyes, but he still seemed to stare at you. the only thing fully illuminated was the new flag of the Empire. "World leaders... I am extremely pleased to announce that the military is completeing the mop-up operations in Baggera, intergrating the land with the Empire's. This has effectively doubled our size and we will soon be starting to spread our population out from our Polish borders all the way to Russia.Once this is done, we will fortify and increase outr military power in the area.

"In case you are wondering who I am, I am Agent Delta of the Crimmond Black Staff(OOC: think CIA/FBI on serious steroids), now head of Foriegn Relations as well.

"Friends, allies... Some of you know of Crimmond's roots stem from a fourty year Polish civil war. We are returning to the days when we glorified those roots."

The phone was ringing...
Erik von Blatterschplitt, Imperator of Edolia, as he usually did, sat at his desk. Turning his attention away from the very mundane report on Axackali crop yields, he pressed the button to turn on the speaker.
"Yes?"
"Sir. We have just received an open trasmission from Crimmond. Something's going on over there."
"What happened?" The Imperator was sick and tired of international disputes. This damn situation with Allanea was bad enough. Luckily Edolia and Crimmond hadn't had too many relations so it probably wouldn't affect the Scarlet Empire too much.
"All we can tell so far is that there has been a shake-up in the upper Crimmnond command... Serious foreign policy changes as well... We could be looking at a very aggressive and very dangerous Crimmond coming out of this."
"Alright. Keep me informed on the situation and alert me if they do anything... of note."
"Yes sir." Pressing the button to end the call, Erik von Blatterschplitt sighed and returned to his crop yields. It looked like it would be a long day...

Agent Delta walked into the Emperor's office and waited to be seen. When he was, he spoke. "No one has made a response to our message."

"Then do what you have to to get a response. Be it reinterating the GDODAD connection, the ortillery strikes during the civil war. And Delta..."

The Agent tilted his head, face still hidden. "Yes, sir?"

"Do better this time or you may be replaced as well."

"Yessir."

Again, a broadcast is sent out, the same room with the same flag. Out of the shadows comes the Agent. "You all seem to think that this is a joke. That we are full of hot air. That we will threaten and back down. We have used weapons of war on our on rebels to smash them, strinking from orbit. We annexed most of Baggera in a week. We have become one of the youngest superpowers of Europe. And we will continue to grow strong as we claim more land."

There is a long pause, but the man does not move and the broadcast continues. "Crimmond is strong enough to take care of itself in anything short of a galactic war. In seven days you will find out how far to our roots we are traveling. Not backwards, but forewards. We have strayed and that has given us time to prepare for our return to the path of expansionist dictatorial politics.

"To further this end, we will be cutting ties to those we consider weak or too pacifistic.

"I have one more thing to say, on behalf of not the Empire, but on behalf of the Black Staff. Our enemies.... upon you do the eyes of the Black Staff rest. You are warned." He steps back into the shadows and the broadcast ends.

OOC: First: Sending military to extract people from a government that does not harm foreign ambasadors, under any circumstances, is a reeeeeally bad idea.

Agent Delta again appears in a broadcast. "You are trying my and my nations nerves by ignoring us. If you do not respond, we will not wait seven days. We will wait seven hours."

"What the hell, what has happened while I was asleep?"
President Carl-Magnus Rödin was at his normal morning temper. He looked at the communications officer that handled foreign broadcasts.
"Well?, answer me, I've talked to over 10 generals since I got up 15 minutes ago. And you know what! I hate speaking to generals. I haven’t even eaten breakfast yet!”

“Sir” The communications officer stumbled upon his own words. “We’ve intercepted video signals from Crimmond. Apparently there’s been some change over there, here let me show you the clips”. His fingers fly over the keyboard and the videos are shown to President Carl-Magnus.

“I see, send a reply to him, ask what he wants and why he’s even going public with his plans?”

“Will do sir”

This is the officials of Svea Riga. What do you want and why are you sending these messages? And what exactly are you going to do?

As Minister for Foriegn Affairs of the Most Holy Principality of Roania, I am curious as to exactly what it is you mean by 'return to the days when we glorified these roots'. Perhaps you would care to enlighten me?

OOC: I'm banking on the fact that no one in their right mind would invade Roania, because there's not that much you can do with it and its full of scary monsters.

Still, if you need an ally in the Pacific, I'm willing to play Tojo.

Delta smiled. "Good." He rsponded in the same manner as the messages arrived.

Officials of Svea Riga, I want only for my nation to return to the days of power and glory it once held. Now we have the ability to finish our long term plans. What we are going to do is expand. Expand in a way no one else has succeded.

He chuckled at the Roainian message.

I would say that the full name of Roania is pompus, but so is the name of my nation. Anyway, you obviously don't know of Crimmond's history. From the time of World War Five to the time of the infamous Ubercaust, Crimmond was a GDODAD member and was among those candidates for COMA positions. We were among the strongest and meanest of the bunch, only going lighter on elves than others. The power and fear we inspired has been missing for too long.

OOC: You've got a good bank, Roania is rather low on the Nations to Annex list, because of location and of political affiliation. After the announcement on Friday though, you may not be an ally... :wink:

Simon snorted as he read the return message. "Hmm... I must remind Lord Derza to boost up security. Still, this offers a grand chance for us to begin maneuvering to sieze Kamchatka... the Russians will be distracted, and hopefully..."
