The Incorporated States of New Xanthal are mobilizing their one million man army effective immediately. The troops will be sent to Earth on transports to fight the Kechan armies alongside their allies. The announcement was made after the Socialist Republic of Xanthal announced the mobilization of their own Military to invade the Great White Holy Empire. Other allies are expected to commit forces soon.

The Socialist Republic of Xanthal confirms the mobilization of its Military. Our standing force of one million soldiers is on stand-by for boarding military transports to the Sol system, our nine million reserve troops are currently being pulled from their civilian jobs and assembled into their respective units. The Chief General estimates that all Xanthalian forces will be prepared for one-hour-notice departure in two days. The current plan is to send only the reserves to Kecha though, so that there will be one million soldiers left to defend Xanthal's homeworlds should the enemy go on the offensive. The Armada is currently fully mobilized, and preparing for their assault on the Kechan space fleet.

Official statement from the Skeelzanian Ministry of Defence:

The Skeelzanian Principality plans to commit the larger bulk of its military to the Xanthal offensive in the near future. However, much of our ships are still engaged in salvage operations in the Relafia sector, and are thus unavaiable. However, once our warriors have returned home and the ships restocked and repair, they will begin the journey to Sol.

King Doran looked though records, histories and law books to see what he could to do to help Kecha with out violating his declared neutrality. His attempts to prevent the war had failed and he couldn't honorably fight for either side, not in a fight amoung allies, a war started by pride. Also one one hand the Xanthalians were anceint freinds as were the Kechans but the Kechans further more had been repeated loyal battle comrades in both covert and open war, they couldn't be honorably abandaned either. He had to find an way to help in what little way he could so he poured through anything that might contain something that would help.

This is formal notice that we are mobilizing an additional 150 million troops from our protectorate, PSO Capital States. The player informs me that his army is 10% of his total population, so that means I'm within my limits there. As his nation is officially required to obey orders from Xanthal IC, and as the player has agreed OOC that he will allow me to use them IC, I'm taking control of those forces. I'm posting this now to hear any objections. If I do, I'll get him to formally post his consent.

We need ground troops. As many as you can spare. Don't expect all of them to come back alive, though.

We don't need any more space ships. Just send the ships you need to get your troops to Kecha. We'll tell them what to do from there.

Keep in mind all. Your victory is not assured. Remember Dien Bien Phu, and the Tet Offensive.

The Republic of Tiburon offers to help its longtime allies in Xanthal with its one-billion strong Mobile Suit forces, as well as Barge, Libra, and Albion, which have been mobilized from a couple of minutes ago, but only if New Xanthal apologizes for and fully compensates its "inferior" citizens for the government's crimes against them. If this does not happen, well... the so-called inferior New Xanthalians can always apply as refugees.

((Billion-strong? I don't freaking think so. Not even a million-strong mech force is near possible.))

True.

OCC: If Tourbina really wants to be 'realistic' with his mech forces, he should keep in mind the largest Mobile Suit battle (Solomon, 1 Year War) only involved 1000 or so mobile suits.

((Yes, mechs are ungodly expensive to maintain, and they have a feasible extended combat survivability of about a week, which is crap. Not to mention Tiburon would be using over half his population piloting mechs.))

OCC: It is possible hes using mobile dolls, which if you stretch it would allow him to theoretically have a corps of 1 billion mechs or so. You'd only need to mine out say the moon to build it...

And then they'd likely be crap, due to the fact that building so many would mean a allmost-certain decrease in Quality-Controll.

Still, a billion is a big number. Unless you began deploying nukes against them (which I think are next to useless in space) youd inevitably be swarmed. Many a nations have underestimated the bum rush (Germany when fighting Russia in WW2 is a notable example).

The "Bum Rush" is a good tactic, but the bums doing the rushing have to be ay least somewhat worth it. They need some training, just like any soldier.

Tiburon: I must agree with my compatriots. One billion mobile suits is way too much to claim. One million is a 'mabye', but you'd have to have been devoted to building and maintainng them for at least a century to have that many. I'd cap your number at 10,000 unless you have some kind of evidence of being able to have more than that.
