UN Report: Nicest Weather

The Silver Turtle
17-03-2004, 16:33
Well, everyone has to do a UN Report Thread, so I thought I'd do this one.
Post your rankings here, have them semi-officially recognised by other players!!!
I'm 20th out of 20 in the region, and 125,398th out of 126,587 in the world!!

Actually, the real reason I posted this was so that I could say this: My troops are regularly trained in some of the harshest conditions in the world (see above), and are therefore some of the 'ardest troops around.

[shamless plug] Anyone wishing to have troops a third as 'ard as mine will need the same equipment that they do. It's on sale here. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129665)[/shameless plug]

Santa Barbara

28th in the region and 125,617th in the world!

There are 29 nations in the region though. So my weather is still not quite as bad as, well, Praetor's.

But we do have equipment of our own....
Crimmond
17-03-2004, 17:11
Crimmond is ranked 29th(out of 31) in the region and 123,547th in the world for Best Weather.

The government had this to say: Those UN guys just don't like it because we shipped them to the center of the Sandtar(small creatures that lay in patches of about four feet deep and are basicly living stomache acid encased in small shells when not eating) filled forests during the Acid Rain season and only one of them came back.
California and Alaska
17-03-2004, 18:26
California and Alaska is ranked 16th in the region and 31,009th in the world for Best Weather.
Paramonia
17-03-2004, 18:32
Paramonia is ranked 2nd in the region and 56,550th in the world for Best Weather.
Wretchengard
17-03-2004, 19:14
The Eternal Dominion of Wretchengard is ranked 22nd in Arda (out of 22 nations) and 125,492nd in the world. Not sure how I got worse weather than Melkor, but whatever...
Bariloche
17-03-2004, 20:19
The Community of Bariloche is 18,481st in the world, the best weather posted here so far, but don't worry TST we've got places to train our soldiers
17-03-2004, 20:31
Nictrapo is ranked 87th in the region and 73,887th in the world for Best Weather.
Tanah Burung
18-03-2004, 05:45
Come to sunny Tanah Burung, ranked 1st in the region and 769th in the world for Best Weather!
Cyberutopia

We are 3rd in the region and 2,182nd in the world for best weather, which is odd, considering the winters hit -12ยบ F.

Wow... that's very bad weather! I'm impressed. Does it tend to be stormy, or too hot, or what?
Sigma Octavus
18-03-2004, 06:03
4th in region and 125,527th in the world. My nation is still suffering the repurcussions of Operation: Righteous Smackdown (I just like blaming it.)

Yay for inhospitable deserts!

Callisdrun
18-03-2004, 06:13
The UN apparently thinks we have nice weather in Callisdrun. They apparently consider only 3 weeks of summer and sunshine only 60 days out of the year, due to storms in the summer and darkness during the winter (kinda like norway, except more so), nice weather.
Glorious Humanity
18-03-2004, 06:25
Glorious Humanity is ranked 1st (out of 6) in the region and 1,695th in the world for Best Weather.

Hmm... okay, I guess if you like lots of sun we're good. Tropical weather, one hundred and eight Farenheit in the shade, humidity... then again some people plan vacations to those kind of areas.

Well, the climate is actually rather pleasant. Mild, warm, dry summers, and mild, cool, wet winters, on the coasts. Inland, there tends to be more desertification. But the real problem is the pollution, which is enough to ruin anyone's weather. Lots of [acid] rain and [noxious] clouds, and the cities are coated in a dense, omnipresent fog of chemicals and badness. Doesn't make for a lovely holiday with the family.

Shadostan is ranked 1st (out of a rather poor 6) in the region and 2,467th in the world for Best Weather. Which ain't bad at all! Visit Shadostan, where the grass is always greener! 8)
Roania
18-03-2004, 11:14
117, 100 I think we are.

I don't know. We Roanians like the deserts, and ice storms, and lack of rain (except during January. When it's always raining. Day in, and day out. In Altara, though, so who cares?) . Builds character.
