The Imitoran Colonial Marine Corps
The Few, The Proud, The Bad Ass
History and Honor
The Imitoran Colonial Marine Corp’s history is stepped in tradition and honor. The first instances of the ICMC came in the early 1700s, when Imitora was still a British colony. Settlers of the island had joined the British Navy and Army during the American Revolutionary War, and had picked up British and American battle tactics. Upon return to their home, the men who had joined taught the tactics to others, and the Imitoran First Militia was formed.
It wasn’t long before the Crown gave the settlers the right to form an official military. Because the group would simply be a division of the British Royal Military, it was named the Colonial Marine Corp, signifying it as a Colonial division of the Royal Marines.
From the formation of the Colonial Marines through 1985, the Colonial Marines fought alongside British forces in WWI and WWII and alongside American forces in the Vietnam War.
On July 17, 1984, the ICMC staged an assault on British troops stationed in Imitora. The so called Colony Wars were the first actions of the ICMC acting on their own. On January 2, 1985, at 11:15pm, the ICMC staged an attack on the field HQ of the British forces, cutting off the head of the enemy forces.
From their on out, the ICMC found nothing but victory in all its battles, from Markov, to Iansisle, to Larkinia, and even at home. ICMC forces were active in both the first and second Gulf Wars, Somalia, Bosnia, and Hatti. They have also been overtly active in military operations in Sambizie and covertly in New Empire, Larkinia, Iansisle, and other locals.

The ICMC MATF
The ICMC Marine Assault Task Force is the combined force strength of the ICMC, disregarding the space based MADs (Mobile Assault Division). The ICMC MATFs are, like the MADs, transported around the world and universe via the ICNF (Imitoran Colonial Naval Forces, to be discussed later), however, they are stationed on earth basses, both at home and abroad, and are larger than a MAD. The Purpose of the MATF is occupation, large scale war (as opposed to quick strikes), peace keeping, and general combat operations. There are four MATFs, one for each hemisphere, and fifth for the purpose of securing extra solar territories.
Each MATF consists of:
Five Infantry Divisions (Three Mobile, Two Air Borne): 10,000 Combat Marines per division, 900 M555 APCs per mobile division
Four Armored Cavalry Divisions (2 M1A5, 2 AGCV): 150 Tanks per Division
Four Fighter Squadrons (AAC(F)-63 Raven): 75 Aircraft per squadron
Four CAS Squadrons (AAC(A)-67 Crows): 75 Aircraft per squadron
One Airborne Cavalry Division: 500 Marines, 25 UD-2Ls, 25 UD-4Ls, 50 AGCVs
The MATFs are localized as followed with a 75%/25% distribution rate of home-abroad basing:
1st MATF-North West
3rd MATF-North East
7th MATF-South West
8th MATF-South East
The ICMC MAD
The ICMC Mobile Assault Division is a quick heavy assault force designed for sudden strike missions and quick takeovers until a MATF can arrive. MADs are all stationed in the Groombridge system, and are deployed from one of the many ICNF transports. The unit sizes are smaller, but therefore easier to deploy. MADs were deployed during the Markovian war, and recently in the South East Asian Expansion.
Each MAD consists of:
Three Mobile Infantry Divisions: 5,000 Marines per Division, 200 M555 APCs
Two Armored Cavalry Divisions (AGCV or M1A5, never both): 75 tanks per division
Two Fighter Squadrons: 25 Aircraft per Squadron
One CAS Squadron: 75 Aircraft per Squadron
Two Artillery Divisions: 40 modified AGCVs per division
The MADs are concentrated 100% at their respective home base in the Groombridge System, and are as follows:
2nd MAD
5th MAD
6th MAD
12th MAD
13th MAD
Special Operations Units
The ICMC has several Special Operations Units under its control. A few are not listed, as they don’t fall under control of ICMC SOCOM, but by the ICIA. Not all SOUs are covert, several are overt. MOS’s vary between the units, however, all are very well trained, equipped, and dangerous.
1st Special Operations Unit-Alpha: The 1st SOU-A are the semi covert unit of the ICMC 1st SOU. The SOU-A are akin to the US Military’s Green Berets. Their main mission isn’t super secret combat, black operations, or assassinations, but to support the actions of insurgents (work with the Kurds in both Gulf Wars) that are deemed valuable to the ICMC. The SOU-A, are not, however, diplomats, negotiators, or talkers, but will and do often work as an independent assault force. The also often support MADs by infiltriating a target before hand and providing recon. Estimated Strength: 5,000 men
1st Special Operations Unit-Delta: Like the SOU-A, the SOU-D is semi overt. However, the Imitoran Government does not official recoknize the SOU-D. The SOU-D, not to be confused with the US’s SFOD-D, is a highly trained, very advanced, and very dangerous openent. Commonly seen with the CPA-25 Special Operations Combat Armor as opposed to the CPA-10 or -10B worn by most ICMC forces, the SOU-D perform actions outside of war, counter terrorist, and other actions which no other force is properly trained to handle. The SOU-D is the only unit that has ever been known to utilize the MD-15K Special Operations Dropship and the M25 Special Operation Offensive Weapon. It is assumed that several SOU-D operatives were involved in the events of October 3, 1993, in Somalia. Estimated Strength: Unknown
17th Airborne Cavalry: The 17th Airborne Cav is an overt unit trained special for the use of Dropship combat. The pilots of the 17th fly their dropships lower and faster, and the troops move quicker than most. The 17th is similar to the US Army Rangers, not quite a specialized operational force, but an ultra elite infantry force. The 17th has seen combat in almost every conflict Imitora has been involved in. Estimated Strength: 10,000
33rd Imitoran Security Reserves: The 33rd ISR is the unit tasked with Diplomat Security in Foreign Lands. The 33rd is a black unit, and use no Imitoran equipment whatsoever. They provide battlefield security for VIPs in hostile situations, and have been seen in Markov, Larkinia, and Iansisle. The 33rd has no visible history that one can draw information from. Estimated Strength: Unknown
175th Special Operations Air: The 175th SOA are the pilots that fly the ‘M’ class of dropships, more specifically, the MD-4K and MD-15K. The pilots fly more advanced versions of the ships, designed for special operations insertions and assaults. Also flown are the MD-2Ks, gunship versions of the UD-2L dropship. The 175th have had combat experience in every Imitoran conflict. Estimated Strength: Plus 60,000
