When people on this forum say they are going to war with another nation what does this actaully mean, do they do anything or is it just on this forum that anything happens?

Yeah, thats basically it.
You declare war, then state your reason for war. At this point it helpfull to Telegram (TG) your opponent[/]] or [i]enemy to alert them of the concflict.
Then, you will be interupted for arround one or two days by people trying to help avoid war, or jumping on sides for the war.
Next, you should really give some reference to your military size and weaponry class, and ask your enemy to do the same. Also post a map of each nation on the forum, even it is only a paint drawing.
Then you are ready for the first engagement. It is best to start a new thread for each engagement to avoid confusion. So, for example you may start the war with a mission into enemy territory, Probing the enemy for example. Then, after that conflict [In the event that you did not engage very troop you had] you may be caught on the defencive in your own land. Then maybe an attack on a trade convoy or somehting alike.
Remember, a war is never a straight forward one battle fight to the death, think of the logistics.
