Her Highness the Princess Ruthen, third cousin of HM King Wasterin VII has been exiled from Aerion by the New Aerion Order, specifically the Office of Royal Affairs which is a special agency under the supervisory of the Prelacy, the leading organ of the fascist party government of Aerion. She is now speaking out against the abuses of Aerion. In statements she sent to the press, she stated the following,

"My people have suffered long, and terribly under the oppression of the fascist government. Despite the claim that the New Aerion Order consists of 40% of the population, there is we are almost sure remarkably less, and those are the only ones who are allowed to vote in the "mock" elections. The Prelacy, the twenty member leading body of the fascist government, is in fact a self-perpetuating body of corruption. They appoint the Council of Ministers according to whom best will enforce the policies of the party. There is no true democracy or freedom in Aerion. Many religious buildings have been burnt to the ground, destroyed, or covertly "reposessed" by the government. Many prominent religious figures have been captured, tortured, and killed. Religion is practically banned, and most all are afraid to actually practice their religion. It is a terrible time, as all the peoples of Aerion live in fear."

Her Highness wises for nations to know that her wish is to reinstate the Ceremonial Royal Family as the rightful rulers of the country, rather than just her individual self. The King, and several other members of the Royal Family still reside in Aerion though their powers are only titular in nature. The Prelacy has an Office of Royal Affairs that closely monitors, and controls the Royal Family. They are often locked up at the Royal Estate in the wilderness in the north of Aerion, and may only leave for public apperances to keep the people happy. They do not speak out for the people of Aerion for fear they will be executed by the Prelacy. This is why Her Highness was exiled, she spoke out against the abuse.

Princess Ruthen is deeply appalled by the actions of the Aerion government, but pleads with nations acting in this situation to think of the Aerion people when declaring war, and to make sure the least ammount of civilian casualites are suffered.

Princess Ruthen has announced she will postpone the conference due to the massive internal changes within Aerion, but states that she "fears the direction the military will take Aerion into." Stating that the Field Marshal currently over the army is known as a power monger, and anti-royal. She has plans to be in Rome for the Papal Conclave.
