National History:
During the early childhood years of every Sambizie born citizen, the philosphy of the Empire is instilled. Every where you look, everything you eat and breath, is the product of the Empire. Be it corporate or military propaganda, literally everythin displays some sort of reminder of who the Sambizie are and who the Emperor is...
At age 4, children are sent to variuos institutes for introduction studies on how to reconize their place within the Empire. As they grow older and continue their Reinforcement education, they learn to act as responsible and most importantly, loyal citizens. By the age of 16, all Sambizie born are mandated to two years of military service which includes 1 year service to the Sambizie Security Force. At the conclusion of this service, (age 18) the young adults can opt to attend Empirial Studies at the expence of the Empire-or-Re-enlist. As extended studies tend to be reserved for the higher educated citizen, a majority constitute the Re-enlistment percentage. It is through continuing education and practice that the Sambizie learn that there is nothing more to life than service to the Empire. It is also learned that through Service, comes great reward and respect.
There comes a time in every Sambizie's life when they must confirm their service and commitment by becomming a Sambizie Legion. These soldiers almost instantly are reconized almost to the equalivant of the Emperor and thusly, the sole, life, and blood Sambizie.
Project History:
It began on a small planet named Siesana, located within the GZNRII System. It was there that the Sambizie learned that despite all their technological advancements, there was still much to learn. While in occupation of this planet, the Sambizie encountered the species known as the ShaRa. It was during the first conflict that fallen ShaRa were researched aboard various vessels. As things setteled down and the Sambizie colonized the planet, further research facilities were built in what is now New Sambizie City. Through the funding of partner nations and industries, research esclated into a military project. The Sambizie needed only to fight the ShaRa once to discover that while not heavely armed, they were infact heavely armoured...to the point of being able to take multiple fifty cal. rounds before hitting the desert. It was this ability of the ShaRa that stood above all and became the highest priority and focus of the research.
As the war between the Empires continued, so did the research. It has now been 30 years since the Sambizie's first contact with the ShaRa accompanied by 2 years of peace. With a combination of scientific advancement and genetic studies, the ultimate goal was achieved. Not only did our scientist decover what made the ShaRa's skin/armour so strong, they also discovered and isolated the specific DNA stran responsible for it's growth. Through various volunteer testing during the last decade, a sucessful "splicing" of the DNA was added to the subjects producing the following result:

The results were not as expected. However, after futher testing of the subject, the subjects physical composition started to change. The subject became stronger, faster, and reflex time improved slightly, while vision and mental skills dropped significantly. It was also noted that disfiguration and skin legions began to form on the subject.
In futher studies, it has been learned that the ShaRa body armour is grown at the rate of maturity. The oldest ShaRa researched was dated to be in excess of 250 years of age. As the ShaRa grow older, their armour grows stronger and thicker. So, with this at hand, the scientist have determined that the skin legions were a result of the armour attempting to "grow" on the test subject. In fact, the SR DNA splice had been compatable with Sambizie DNA. It was a matter of time, since the average Sambizie lives to be 132, the SR armour "grew" at a slower rate. It was at this time the project was almost abandoned.
Knowing the ShaRa would one day confront the Sambizie, testing was ordered to continue. However, we lacked "test" subjects. The Sambizie formed an alliance with a cloning nation. In a "technology-share" deal, the Sambizie provided blood, DNA, and genetic samples of 100,000 Military volunteers. This helped start "product" testing and research on the first of the Sambizie Legions.
Over the period of two years, the Sambizie have worked alongside this cloning nation. As the results poured in over the first year, it was discovered that the first Sambizie test subject was defective. Due to the nature of the growth process, DNA implantation, and margin of errored clones, The first subjest was infact flawed. It was at this time certain bio additives and hormone enhancement chemicals were introduced.
6 months ago the Sambizie discovered the correct injection sequence of the clones. A final product has been produced and replicated. I now introduce the Sambizie Legions:

What appears to be armour, is actually a genitic growth,(somewhat like scales) of tissue and cartladge. However, the cloning is based primarly on Sambizie DNA, (approx. +/-87%). It is no longer necessary for the citizens of Sambizie to make such a life altering decession in efforts to become a Legion. However, it is mandated by law that each Sambizie born donate blood every year. In addition, although these are clones, they are respect as sentient and hold the same values and rights as the (Full Blooded) Sambizie.
