We presume IPOs can be made for companies which are already public on a national exchange?
13-03-2004, 21:26
I am interested in becoming involved in this, but must admit that I am totaly green. Could you post a faq, or something? I really wouldn't know how to go about getting involved, and I'm sure there are other players who would like to participate that have the same problem.

Well there are many ways of getting involved. You could post your nation's company and a share price for the IPO. And I'd put it on. And you could also join my financial company that presides over the market and decides what the companies prices will do.

There can always be more than one exchange to list stocks okay Foe.

Nasdaq
Dow Jones Industrial Average
AMEX
NYSE

Look at those real ones. I'm not trying to replace it.

An IPO is an Initial Public Offering. It's when you take a company public. And you make up the share price of your company based on what you think people would pay for it. It's up to you as the owner. If you make it really high, it may go down fast or stay there. If you make it low it will have more capacity to increase but may bankrupt as well and it will be more risky. So pick a medium price I'd suggest.

Well when every goof and his cousin is starting a stock exchange, it gets kind of annoying.
