"Sergei, are you there?"

Alexander's a nice guy, smart too, but I wish he didn't wake me from the nightmarish reality I was mourning from. All that I held dear was going to become recycled into junk. My creations, all the notes I have written, all the memories. "Yeah, I'm here." I moaned, as I looked towards the light. Alex struggled to find me in the darkness, to no avail. "I can't see you, you know damned well that the power for this part of the complex has been shut down. Say something so I can track you down." Alex called out to me, and I immediately started singing.

Itsy bisty electron,
Went down the quantum slide,
Never quite reached the middle,
But came out the other side.

"There you are." Alex considered my situation for a moment, then took a more friendly tone, "Come on, I know how hard it is to lose your life's worth, but we have to move on, to live, to learn. It shouldn't end here, it should start from here." I sighed, "You're right." I couldn't argue with him, it was too pathetic to comfort me, but he's right. I had to move on.

As I left the room, I read the sign above the doorway one last time...

..."Military Research Wing".

OOC:
Taking the beautiful, and showing an ugly side. My style of roleplay.

Anyway, it's an open roleplay since I want to see your how your country's researchers deal with current events. If possible, in a satirical way.

Desty Nova counld`t help but laughing in his remarkable voice. "KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!", after reading the article in 'Science Today'. This fools... It was almost laughable...

In any case, he needed to [tag] the article, just in case he would decide to write something for 'Science Today', and anyway, it was an amusing read...

"If I didn't have this migraine, I would have strangled you by now." I roared, as the blast door behind us was rocked by velociraptors attempting to knock it down. "Couldn't you have been a agritechnician? Developed man-eating beans or something?"

"You know, this could make for a good Jurassic Park sequel, let's tell Hollywood that this is a true to life sto--" He stopped as I gave him the glance. A cold, unforgiving glance, one that made you think that you were being eaten alive.

The door stopped rocking, I checked to see from the bulletproof window on the blast door, and saw that the velociraptors were melting into the base elements of protein. "Not quite the sequel it would have been, you forgot to limit the telomeres on the bacterium."

"At least I resurrected them for a moment. Oh well, back to the drawing board." He casually opened the blast door and strolled inside, as if nothing had happened. My eyes twitched at the sight of his attitude.

"Will you ever contribute to mankind?" I shouted out to him.

He replied, "I already have. I discovered a thousand wrong ways of cloning." He quickly looked in front of him as he heard a pop, and quickly ran towards me. "Make that a thousand and one."
