After taking time to study the economy of soddslaw the evaluation team have arrived at some interim conclusions.
1. The woodchip industry is unlikely to survive for very much longer in its present form as exports to RealEarth will dwindle. This is largely due to changes in student funding in the UK. Now that students of that sorry land are obliged to take out loans which cannot be repaid in a normal lifetime, many of these are deciding that to die and leave a big debt is more comfortable than to die and leave a modest debt. This has resulted in the grotty woodchip papered student bedsit being much less desirable.
There has been some image problems with our basket weaving industry. It would seem that some nations who have our language as their second tongue have tended to confuse 'wicker baskets' with the phrase ' wicked bast..ds'. This has tended to rather dampen our export drive.
Both these issues will be addressed in the next pronouncement
