[OOC: A subplot from the threads a Scream in Space, and a Dark Alliance]
The ChessBoard a destroyer class ship, three kilometers long, and was shaped like a star destroyer from Star Wars. Recently it had aided Nanakaland, and SAVXVI through a battle with the new found alien threat the Stalkers, then another with the Great System, and then last against the remaints of the stalker fleet.
They thought the end of that battle would end it all, they were wrong.
A frigate was shot as it tried to ram the ship, and a box flew from the frigate, and onto the Chessboard no one noticed, because it was picked up on scanners as a piece of debris. It had attached itself to the hull, and four Sequas (Sek-ways) had entered the ship from it.
Sequas are a race, or rather a machine, created by the Xan. They were used to infiltrate ships, and destroy, and kill the crew. The look like insects in a way, with four legs, and a parralellagram body. Their body appears to have been made out of little square metal chips, about an inch by an inch long and wide. They have no visible eyes, and their mouth is about an inch wide by half an inch tall. On the mouth are two pinchers, able to tear through metal.
Which is what they eat to reproduce.
They eat metal, and based on what it is, and how rich it is, will depend on what they are like. A bronze colored metal, would produce a bronze colored Sequa. Extremely rich metal will create a extremely strong Sequa.
To reproduce the Sequas chew on the metal, and one of their chips changes, and it drops off, the little chip extends, and becomes a new Sequa. Who have a mix of the metal the 'parent' had, and also a trrace of the qualities the 'parent' had. Much like heredity.
The 'parent' then regrows the chip it lost, but it doesn't form from what the metal it was eating was.
Several types of Sequa include:
Warrior- They kill all living organism that they find to be a target, or hostile.
Worker-They eat and reproduce from the metals they eat.
Scout-Scouts out the ship for the best type of metal.
Queen-Constantly reproduces, no matter what, is created when a hundred chipos drop in the same vacinity.
Majority of the Sequa are about a foot long. The queen on the other hand though, is about nine feet long, and looks more like a spider than anything else, with eight legs, and a spider's shape.

There were a total of twenty Sequas on the ship, and they had only been on the ship for five minutes. AFter they have enough units they will slow down reproduction. The crew would be taken by suprise.
The crew of the ship was a total of 875. With professions ranging from techs, to soldiers, to officers, to cooks, to mechanics. They would be taken by suprise, but they would be able to fight.

In the control room four star Admiral Colin Walthour sat in the command seat. Beside him was his blonde haired, fair faced, twenty eight year old male aide, Major Aaron Leader.
Colin was a fifty five year old man. He was robust, and smart. He had a full head of gray hair, and a mustache, which was gray as well.
He wore the blue officers suit of the Techon military.
The battle was basically over, there was no more real threat, just mopping up after the fight. There was oe problem at hand however, Stalker escape pods were heading down through the moon stations orbit, and one of the Nanakaland ships the NSS Celestia had crashed on it as well.
They would wind up sending down troops to pick up survivors, as well as workers at the base. Then they would probably bomb any trace of stalkers.
---He had no clue of the danger on board
Techs were talking to crewmembers on the ship, or to fighter pilots. Giving orders and such. He at the moment didn't have any duties to accomplish.

In the very front of the ship, the Sequas moved out of the storage room. They continued through the hallways, reproducing as they went. An unfortunate guard was walking back from the restroom, when he saw them. He didn't know how to react, fifty little robotic bugs were running down the walls, and floor.
He pulled out his gun, but a sequa jumped off the wall, and grabbed his hand. It bit down, its pinchers going throught the skin, and bone. The guard screamed in pain, and tried his best to throw it off. It didn't work though, and soon three others had him on the floor, and were tearing him apart.
