The nation of LuceEterna no longer bows to Michael Trent or his corrupt 'holy order'.
Michael Trent, the emperor who has marched countless LuceEternan soldiers to their pointless deaths, left the nation in order to strike against the little-known nation of The Underground City. His reasons were vague, and being unable to question his doings, LuceEternans were forced to simply accept it. With him, he took a large portion of the LuceEternan empire, particularly the high ranking soldiers who also belonged to his 'holy order'. Initial reports claimed success in his exploit, but the few surviving soldiers have reported failure. Unfortunately, this means that the LuceEternans forced to fight under his rule have been slain, but Trent's absence did have a beneficial effect - it allowed for his overthrowing.
Without the support of their fellows, the few remaining order were removed from power by the supporters of Roderic Jones, a popular official, who was refused promotion due to disagreeing with some of the government's actions. Jones has now seized the role of Emperor, although he claims this is purely a ceremonial title, and that the nation will now be ruled democratically.
Attempts were made to arrest Michael Trent for his crimes against the LuceEternan people, but success was not had for reasons that are unclear. The soldiers assigned the task found Trent, but were unable to arrest him, due to some kind of new power Trent has gained. The nature of this 'power' was not made clear. The soldiers also reported that Trent claims to have no further interest in LuceEterna, it being 'insignificant' to him. Further investigations are to be conducted.
