Well what about ethnic groups. In your nation or what?

Sometimes a person may open a press conference to discuss an issue that may be controversal in their country. EG: My liberation of the Azores Islands was controversial, so I opened up a press conference...

Sino is 88% Chinese and 10% white. Various other ethnic groups make up the remainder. Both English and Chinese are official languages.

Does the General have any family of sorts?

The General's family had been 'eliminated' by hostiles as a reprisal to his defection. Sadly, as an only child, he is left to continue his family's line.

Currently, the General is 32 years old and single. Despite his busy life, rumours have been circulating in civilian circles about the General having a mistress. The General has refused to comment, neither denying nor encouraging such rumours.

What are The Armed Republic of Sino's plans for the future? Where does it see itself headed?

The Armed Republic of Sino's ultimate goal is to unite all members of the Chinese race. In the NS world, Chinese nations can be found everywhere, under different styles of leadership and ideology. Our goal is to have them all united under our banner of militant nationalism.

It will be a hard and long struggle. A struggle that we will not fail! A struggle that we are destined to win. We will united all Chinese, through peace or war!

What steps does Sino plan to take in uniting 'all Chinese peoples'? Does this refer to ethnic Han Chinese, or related ethnicities, or territorially connected ethnicities such as native Taiwanese or Manchus? Does it include those who fall within its definition of Chinese who have chosen to live in nations where they are not the political power majority? Those who do not wish to be part of a united China as envisioned by Sino?

We have also observed that Sino often pursues an extreme militaristic approach to international disputes. What are the criteria used by the Armed Republic to determine when force should be employed? When WMDs should be used? What are the policies of Sino in terms of cooperating with other powers, as was done in the wars against Japann and Bonstock/Red Tide? Is it policy to pursue its own unilateral course regardless of affiliations, or is conformity to consensus a standard course of action?

OOC: Good question.

The Armed Republic of Sino is willing to unite all Chinese peoples who speak Chinese or are suppose to be under Chinese control (e.g. Manchus, Tibetans, Uighurs, etc.). We serve to protect Chinese territorial integrity and will by all mean reclaim lands lost to foreign invaders. The Chinese-based states that we tolerate, we shall consider a lengthy transitional process of union with Sino (a union where the leaders actually meet and formulate laws that may apply to all members), until one day where these state can amalgamate into a new, strong and great China. Such a similar union already exists in Europe.

Nations that have a Chinese majority (e.g. Singapore), we will attempt to have an Anschluss with or at least mutual guarantees or agreements of defense. For the Chinese who live in nations which they are not a majority, our propaganda will appeal to them, calling for their repatriation of their ancestral homeland (we would like the Sinoese and other overseas Chinese to view China as how Jews view Israel). If overseas Chinese, in such nations are persecuted racially; we will avenge on these nations and even annex territories off their lands to satisfy our hatred for their actions.

In Sinoese foreign affairs, we see that warfare is just a continuation of diplomacy by other means. As we have a policy of "mobilized unto the end", we have a large standing for on standby at all times. We have seen past examples where diplomacy have not only not worked for us, but the results are of a weakening of Chinese positions in the world. Often, the world have ridiculed the Chinese race as weak, unwarlike and fragile. Our militarism must change all that, as real strength lies in not only in educational, economic and technological superiority, but most certainly in genuine military power.

The Armed Republic of Sino has both Chinese and non-Chinese allies. Our Chinese allies are not only fellow nationalists who share our ideas but also those who are moderately leftists but agree with our ideas of national unity (e.g. Xiaguo). Our non-Chinese allies must be conservative and militant (e.g. Belem). Certainly, we only make diplomacy with nations that agree to Chinese territorial integrity. Sino has pledged to be a eternal protector of PRC China (our natural ally), such agreement includes free technological transfers and assistance.

Sino's WMD arsenal is of a limited public knowledge and will remain that way for some. We believe in the first strike use of WMDs in a situation where the territorial integrity and the safety of the Chinese race has been threatened to a point where only with such force can they be saved.

Originally, Sino believed that the war on Japann was going to be ours for the taking but it turned out that EI had beaten us to it. However, by no means during or before the war have we seen Bonstock and REd Tide as allies.

What is the Sinoese position on the Russian occupation of Chinese territory in Siberia and the Tibet problem?

The Military Junta believes that such territories must be reclaimed when the Chinese had been unified and Sino's unification with China is complete.

OOC: About Tibet, as Sino's efforts have partially solved the problem ( http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100236&highlight= ) I'm considering an RP on the handover of this land back to Chinese ownership (wonder if Omz is interested?).
