I think its about time that I did a proper intro to Ruskkia, though this is a revised version of the last one. So bear with me.

Name: Empire of Ruskkia
Region: The Iron League
Leader: Duke Charles Le Thunder
Government: Imperialist
Capital: Vendigrad
Pop (10/3/04): 332 million
Government Factions;
Ruskkie Radical Party (Industrialits, capialist)
Ruskkie Imperialist Party (Duke's party)
Ruskkie Red Party (commuists)
Bias: Based on 1900 period Russia, but focusing more on steamtech.
Tech: Steamtech late 19th/early 20th century period, internal combustion engine powered vechcials used mainly by military and government.
History: Originally a kingdom during medevil times, until an uprising undertaken by the Le Thunder family with full military backing of the then SteamEarth during the late 1700s.
Slow to gain technology during the 1800s, it was often behind the tech level of its neighbour SteamEarth which resulted in a number of wars throughout the mid-1800s to about the early 1900s.
Uprising in the Southern Plains region of Ruskkia by the Ruskkie Collective during early 1918 through to 1921, resulting in an overall win for the Duke's forces. The head commies of the Collective eventually faced the firing squad in Imperial Square, Vendigrad.
One or two minor conflicts between borders and colonial rights, with other nations, came about during 1927 to around 1949. A throughout invasion of what is now Southern Wastes in 1954 resulted in the lost of a full two thirds of Ruskkia's army after it unkowningly stumbled into the middle of an atomic civil war.
The late 1950s through to the early 1970s saw low-intensity border skirmishes between Ruskkia and other nations continue to flare up. From 1976 onwards Ruskkia removed itself from the world scene and into the shadows with the odd two or three small outbusts at SteamEarth.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Ruskkia stayed quiet, whilst SteamEarth continued to expand and furthur its steam technology. Then over the second half of winter 2003-04 saw Ruskkia attempt yet an invasion of SteamEarth, unfortunely the rather mixed-up and confusing Ruskkie Civil War resulted in a draw with the Ruskkie Collective holding onto its own piece of land.
A few months later Ruskkia has attempted another invasion of SteamEarth with advanced tech from an unkown source.
