This is the second poll of a number of directors of the UNSC. The election is at different locations with different candidates because the NS Forum limits the number of options which can be added to a poll.

Greetings. I am the delegate from Alrindor. As none of the other delegates have submitted their opening speeches, Alrindor will be the first to move to do so.

Alrindor is a growing, prospective country with a growing economy. It heads up the region of The World Nexus, and also is the UN Delegate for the region. We are currently passing legislation already to put economic funding into space exploration programs, and we feel that a spot on the U.N.S.C. provisional board would be the next step up in helping the world look towards a brighter future in the skies.

As a member of the board, Alrindor will help to submit, review, and debate on relevant issues. We will maintain as neutral a standpoint as possible when evaluating decisions to be made, and we will try to do as much as we can to help further and improve the effectiveness of the board. This will include being active in the board and submitting proposals when needed.

In conclusion, Alrindor would urge for your vote for it as a member of the U.N.S.C. provisional board, and we hope to speak with all of you more in the future. Any questions may be wired directly to our nation, or asked here, if needed.

The Federation of Wetland is a new nation but an active one. I do not believe in long winded speeches and so I wont give one. I urge you to vote for me so that the voice of the small and the young will be heard in the UNSC next to the big and old.

Greetings fellow supporters of the UNSC,

I am Head of the Ukroatia Space Initiative. As you all know, our country has supported the UNSC from proposal to resolution. If elected as a member of the board, I swear I will do all within my power to maintain a steady yet reasonable budget. Explore new modes of fuels, and a cost effective way to make this great vision a reality.

After the UNSC resolution passed, we tried to pass another resolution that would have given the UNSC more powers and a larger budget, but we were shot down.

We will help our coalition of nations achieve dreams that have been dreamt for far too long and help make them a reality.

Greetings to all of you fare UNSC members and supporters.

I understand that the position I am hoping to get is one of great duty and responcibility, and I hope that you the voters will understand how seriously I should take such an appointment.
Myself, Dr Wilfred Franks, I am of humble beginings. But now, as chief co-ordinator of The Pablicosta Space Development Agency I have been nominated by my nation to come forward and vie for a place on the board of the UNSC. Now, I don't lie, I make that a rule for myself and all those in my company, so I shan't lie now. I am an old man. 67 Years old infact, and those 67 years have been devoted by me to the advances in technology, advances in space! I think this gives me myself a good chance of becoming a board member.
But this is not just me. I am here to reporesent the views and feelings of the people of my nation, The Peacefull and Free Land of Pablicosta. So, I must give a case suitable to represent my fine nation. Our people occupy the land of Lancre, the largest man made region in The World. We constantly rate highy in the annual examinations of factors in Lancre, and also well in the World rankings. Our economy is frightening to those nations who do not rank with ours, and our enormous population of 2.2 Billion People enjoy excellent freedoms in civil rights. The government voting system is, progressing afer the reign of Helgar Igridson, or The Iron Lady as she was called by her followers. Ahe ruled with harsh laws and no voting, untill her assination in 1996. Then President Aerson was elected and changes started to become visable. The freedom to do what you want made Pablicosta one of the most Liberal nations in Lancre, The freedom to vote making Pablicosta a great nation, and an astonishing economy making us wealthy people.
But what about Space, after all-this is what we need to speak of.
Pablicosta Space Development Agency was founded 1997, after President Aerson declared the Earth would one-day be unsuitable for habitation. Since that day we have made swift advances and constrcuted space stations and colonies across the known universe. Our space research created one of the first FTL drives, and was suportive in the creation of the terraforing device now used across the universe. We have gone from simple shuttle to light speed travel in 30 years. Amazing. We hope to continue such great advances, but this time with a difference. We could share our secrets with UNSC members from the board, we could play a part in space history.
This is all I can say, I am sorry to go on but I feel so inclined to get this position that I must presuade you in any way possible!

Please Vote Pablicosta on to the Board of Directors for the UNSC, and I promise to uphold truth and responcibility within the group.
