OOC: The Half-Moon tribe is a group of Goblins gone modern, they are currently going through the process of modernizing their military, so its currently between 'Black powder and axes' and 'AK-47' stages.
The list:
Total Armed forces: 135,650 Goblins
Goblin Militiamen: 100,000
Equipment: Whatever they make, including axes, swords, spears, but also primitve black-powder weapons and suicide bombs
Training: None
Other notes: While poorly armed and trained, they are utterly insane in battle, very similar to Viking berserkers, but smarter. They fight through ambush and suprise, sneaking in close to their opponents, who dont expect to be attacked from their knees by an almost-cute little green thing with an ax
Goblin Grunts: 10,000
Equipment: AK-47, M-16, other assorted modern weapons obtained off black markets
Training: Some
Other notes: Similar to the Militia, since there are few of them they rely on stealth and ambush.
Goblin Snipers: 100
Equipment: WWII era sniper rifles, a few modern weapons as well
Training: Quite good by Goblin standards
Other notes: Considered 'elite' by the other brances, these are the best of the best in the field for the Goblins. They have deadly aim and are usualy deployed ahead of the main forces.
Sappers: 2,500
Equipment: Explosives of most types
Training: Some
Other notes: Explosives 'experts', these classify as either engineers or suicide bombers, depending on how sarcastic your feeling. With most Goblin made bombs, they either work very well or explode prematurly and work very well anyway.
T-34: 1,000
Equipment: T-34 tanks
Training: Good
Other notes: Old WWII era tank, cheap, but good for its era
Panzer II: 2,500
Equipment: Panzer II light tanks
Training: Little
Other notes: Fast, light WWII tank, most Goblin tanks are equipped with 20mm cannon or 100cm guns
M1A1 Abrhams: 50
Equipment: US Abrhams tank
Training: Elite
Other notes: Kept back as the Home Guard of the Goblin tribes, these tanks were obtained through some difficulty from old battlefields, they were reffited in the typical Goblin fashion of 'use everything' and half are better than they were originaly, unfourtunatly the other half are better used as turrets than tanks.
Armoured Car: 5,000
Equipment: Assorted armoured cars, ranging from advanced 'modern' modles to 'technicals', pickups with guns on them.
Training: Varies
Other notes: Used in similar fashion to militia, ambushes and hit and run tactics
Glider: 3,000
Equipment: Homemade gliders, rocks
Training: Varies
Other notes: Basicaly fly over peoples heads and throw things at them. More effective than you might think.
Raft: 6,000
Equipment: Homemade rafts of differnt quality
Training: None
Other notes: The Half-Moon navy doesnt really exist, since most of it is usualy underwater.
