Political Background of the Empire.
Iraqstan has over the past seven hundred years, been through a significant number of governing bodies. During the seven hundred year war the country was divided independantly into 10 governing nations, each ruled by a single Iraqstani noble house.
After seven hundred years of warfare and attacks the Iraqstani people rose to equality through democracy which lasted for twenty years until the crumbling of the social foundation occured. The democracy failed, all parties were corrupt and the economy died.
Thus escorted in the People's Liberation which seated President Zelgado Quil'Raya on the ruling seat of the country. Uniting the houses he managed to bring order and stability back to the country. The economy flourished and after a brief and brutal invasion by outside peoples Iraqstan remained peaceful.
thirty years of rule saw Iraqstan shape itself into a socialy independant and moraly exclusive nation with set allies and tough migration laws. Into his thirtieth year as leader Zelgado Quil'raya suffers a heart attack and dies. PAving the way for his son Carlos Quil'Raya to rise to power. Ten years passed before the Revolution of Nationalism could be undertaken.
With the heralding in of Carlos as President General and the country begining a progressive and fast cultural turn around from open doors and friendly skies to closed and decidedly security orientated. Nationlist feelings began creeping into the former Dictatorship when it became the holy empire. Another ten years passed and on Carlos' 29th Birthday the founding of the National Socialist empire began with a nation wide burning of heretic and inferior books.
Laws began to be passed with quick enforcement, Um Lizaa the nation previously granted independance was retaken and occupied it's people now working fo the National Socialist Empire. Twenty years have passed since then and the Empire now stands at a pinnacle of power, technological acheivment and Economical advancement...........

The SteelViper main battle tank dates back to before the rise of Carlos with the original SteelViper proving itself capable of handling any situation. Advancements in armour and weapons saw the birth of the mk2 and recent advances in armour systems, kinetic weapons and automation has recently seen the birth of the mk3 and the upgrade kit the mk3a.
Using a revolutionary new armour system called Electric Armour the SteelViper mk3a is capable of reducing it's weights to light tank weights with an increase of 20km/h in speed. Using new engine systems made from Treznorian cold fusion, The tank is capable of protecting itself entirely from the majority of attacks against it.

First introduced in the late stages of the 700 year war the Gilleth APC has seen many improvements to armour and and weapons over time. Capable of carrying up to ten troops it has remained the staying power of the Iraqstani Army ground transport.

The ATF-01, is designed for a type of flight called supercruise. Supercruise is when an aircraft is designed to be flown at Mach 1 or above in cruise, that is without afterburners. To do this the ATF-01 needed to have an enhanced aerodynamics configuration and with multiple tests of different frames and designs the finished product fits the requirements perfectly. The engineers at MAMCO. feel this fighter will take them into the next generation of Advanced Tacticle Fighters.

The Darklance is in many ways a very conservative design using many components from previous test designs. The engines on the fighter-bomber are Checna Advanced FT-425 Fusion Turbines and produce a large amount of thrust. The engines on the Darklance have a better cooling system and the fighter-bomber has a slightly longer endurance than most craft in it's class. Even though the is larger than most craft, the aircraft's top speed is significantly higher and can break Mach three in level flight. Like the engines, the electronics are believed to have been adapted from previous test beds. The Darklance carries a light pulse laser on the left side of the nose of the aircraft and a mini-missile launcher on the right side. These weapons are normally controlled by the pilot. The fighter-bomber carries four ordnance bays with the two larger bays in the main fuselage and the two smaller bays in the supports for the wings. The aircraft also has eight wing mounts for ordnance but there reduce the stealth and performance of the Darklance. All ordnance fired from ordnance bays and wings (with the exception of mini-missiles in wing pods) is controlled by the weapons officer who sits behind the pilot although the pilot does have emergency controls.

the IK-1 'Sky Hound' was once the main stay Aircraft of the Iraqstani forces, it's multi-role capabilities saw it in many actions in the Civil War and the suppression of uprisings of the late era of Zelgado. It's speed and manuevarbility remain unmatched in most countries but it has slowly begun to be outdated as newer and better aircraft are proposed and designed.

The Starflier is slowly replacing the IK-1 as the main stay aircraft of the National Socialist Empire and will soon be taking over all roles the Ik-1 once held.

Carrying a heavy weapon payload the Falcon can both serve as a light naval ship and a coastal interdiction vessel. Used soley for coastal patrols along the Um Lizaan/Iraqstani shore lines the falcon has seen much action in denying landings to illegal landings of Um Lizaan suicide boats.

The Iraqstani Naval Tank Lander, is an old design, stolen from nations around the empire. Still in use today it is capable of landing a majority of Iraqstani tanks quickly and efficiently. It's cost is not to prohobitive and upkeep lowered due to recent advances in naval designs and engines.

Big bulky and effective the Marlov Class Air Craft Carrier is the first naval ship to be produced by MAM Co. it's light armaments mean it relies more on other ship defenses and air craft patrols than anything else and such it's cost is slightly lower. An upgraded version of this formidable craft is under research but the C.E.Os of MAM Co. feel that it would be unfeasable and over all too costly for usto continue so the CR-1 is the first and only of it's class. Proven to be reliable and capable of delivering effective air craft to where they are needed the Marlov class carrier has become the main stay carrier for the Empire.

the Blackguard of Iraqstan formerly known as the Special Iraqstani Guard, make up the bodyguards and elite defensive units of the National Socialist Empire. Utalising highly classified Personal fighting vehicles the Blackguard are designed to be dropped into enemy territory secure a forward post and then hold it against enemy assaults until the rets of the advancing invasion force can reach it.
Capable of lasting weeks on end without support or backup the Blackguard prove themselves to be elite and unstoppable in the many areas of the world.
