In order to facilitate the greatest undertaking yet begun by the Empire of the Iron Eagle, Akilliam is set to build a trio of massive ship yards. However, that is not the extent of the project. These ship yards, upon completion of the Empire's new secret, shall be modified to serve as ports unto themselves. This great new project will incorporate almost every aspect of the Empire, from the lowest job, to the highest position of power.

To rush the project along, make-shift cities will be built around the three perspective ship yards - with all the comforts of home - in order to handle the huge labor force needed. As an added bonus, those workers who are not full citizens of the Empire will attain full citizenship when the work is completed. In the unfortunate event that they die in the process of this great endeavor, full citizenship shall be granted to their immediate families.

Exact specifications of the ship yards, or of the projects to be undertaken by the Empire therein have not be disclosed as of yet, but it is widely rumored that these shipyards will be the largest in the region of Greater Prussia, and perhaps beyond.

We invite the nation of Akilliam to establish an embassy our capital city, Nova Varsovia, for the purpose of establishing official diplomatic relations between our two nations.

The Empire feels, at this time, that such a... diplomatic embassy... might be contrary to our great project and that such an embassy might constitute a breech security.

Truly? Lavenrunz has already established an embassy in our nation, and their ambassador acts as the official representative of Greater Prussia to our nation. However, we do understand if you hesitate to intitiate relations with a nation as small and insignificant as our own. We shall respect your decision. Be well.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has turned a keen eye on this shipyard expansion, in times when the Federal Republic's shipyards are beginning to ebb as relationships are cooled with old enemies and competing shipyards in nearer nations have begun to infringe on the monopoly these yards have enjoyed in Pelican, France, and Germany in constructing non-warships.

Becuase there have been no previous reports of Akilliam in any Naval Intelligence Breifings, there have been no massive mobilization of the Federal Navy as were seen during the Phyrric scare prior to joining UnAPS, and the Federal Navy has even continued to move front-line warships into the Reserve Fleet as the Agragarian Expansion Undertaking has been finally completed. However some in the Senate feel this may mark the beginning of a new trend for other nations to attempt to outdo Akilliam, and are using the nation's activities as evidence in the Senate to push for the revitilization of the Federal Navy to it's standings the previous year.

There remains no doubt that many eyes will be watching the reports from Akilliam with feigned interest even as they continue to watch the once indestructible Federal Navy continue it's descent into a reserve force.

The work was moving at a fevered pitch. The Empire did not hesitate to offer overtime to anyone who wanted it, and most wanted it. The days were long, twelve hours at the minimum. Some workers, the poorer workers, gladly worked sixteen or even twenty hours to a shift to bring home the huge amounts of cash offered by the job. It payed well, but was strenuous and sometimes dangerous.

Each day the three seperate construction grounds received word of the progress of the other two; the goal was to finish first - at all costs. Each worker in the construction ground that finished first would get a thousand credit bonus.

Massive earth movers were brought in. Giant buckets would drop down into the water, bringing a ton of sand and dirt at a time. The waste would be loaded onto massive dump trucks, and hauled out to a processing center beyond the construction zone to be converted into whatever could be used again. Nothing was wasted. Even the older citizens of the Empire were amazed at the fierce competition, the drive to win, and the lengths being taken to serve the Empire.

No one quite knew what these three perspective shipyards were for, but because of the money and manpower being sucked into the effort, and the determination of the workers, it was clear that whatever it was... it was important.
