The United Socialist States of Fahigland (Region: The Neo Russian Continent) has been granted the bid to host the next World Championship in Ice Hockey by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament will be held in four different cities (including the qualification rounds). These cities are Mendenburg, Port Autoria, St. Ives, and Adajemtorok.

Please submit your bid to be granted a spot in the qualification round (unlimited number of nations may be submitted for the qualification round). From there, 16 teams will be divided according to qualification status. These 16 teams will be divided into two groups of eight (2 divisions). The divisions will play round-robin games, with 4 teams from each division proceeding into the medal round.

So far, these nations have submitted bids

Molniya (automatically qualify due to being the previous year's champions)
Fahigland (automatically qualify due to being the host nation)
The Livonian States
The Fahiglish Emirates
Apocrathea
Serial Killerz
Hazatak
Voldanian Corporation

The Voldanian Corporation is interested in anything which expands the sport of hockey (and provides advertising opportunities for the Corporation). We shall send a team to every competition available....including this one.
