Cavani was established when a group of 5,000,000 individuals, poltical dissidents in opressive nations and a few from non-opressive nations, banded together.

Now, it is larger, although not much. There are ten communities in the Federated Communities of Cavani. Each is a walled area, to help in defense if we are ever attacked (Only 1,000 troops will be in each city, we are strictly pacifist and will only fight if attacked). They were built, each with an Civic Building, a Communal Exchange, and houses. All buildings are geodesic domes, except for the communal exchanges, which are like if you linked halves of geodesic domes together at their apexes, forming a semi-rectangular building.

They founded themselves on basic principles of peace, equality, democracy, etc.

Hazatak was founded 1 year ago by a congregation of colonies, composed by the survivors of the devastating Aridian Wars that ended 52 years ago with a mutual nuclear attack. Our people descend are what is left of the people from the 14 nations that dominated Aridia before the war.

Our conscience that we have to unite ourselves, and care about each other is the result of the lessons the past hard decades taught us. The society became, from scatered colonies without a central government, to a prosperous socialist democracy. The leader of the biggest colony (now, the capital city of Hazatak), comrad Mono, was ellected the first president of the newly founded United Socialist States of Hazatak with 96% of votes.

Due to the difficulties we faced to recover our civilization, our lives and our dignity, our people became very proud of themselves, and we can consider ourselves very nationalist.

As a new country, we don´t have yet many diplomatic relatioships with foreign countries, but we expect to grow very fast in the next years and become a regional potence. The future is ours.

Josephland was founded by a group of outcasts from somewhere in the middle of Europe. This group was led by one man with dreams of total domination; all history about him is lost, except for his first name...Joseph. After settling on a barren patch of ground, he and his men began to construct their new society.

Josephland immediately began to involve itself in world events, joining one of the many World Wars in NationStates history. Although his country's participation was minimal, Joseph began to hunger for more. Alliances were made, most notably with the Galactic Alliance, and Josephland grew rapidly, acquiring more nations through auctions and conquest.

Recently, however, Josephland withdrew from the international scene, breaking all ties with its former allies and erasing most of its former policies, returning to a level of evil not seen since its early days. At one time, Joseph ruled as emperor, issuing his decrees and executing those who stood in the way. However, he soon disappeared, and Josephland became a Big Brotherhood. It is said that he still rules the country from a secret location where he views all that goes on.

Josephland now rules three additional nations, all with populations over one billion. It commonly ranks among the top 1000 nations in the world, placing it among the statistical superpowers.

11,200 BC: The Atlantian Homeworld rises out of WW2 and heads into the Optium movement, which resembles Social Darwinism (the weak where allowed to die, no hospitals. It was a toltarian regime, and very little sciantific reserch is done)

11,150BC: Several "owtlaws" create the 1st space ship based off of Jump Node tech.

11,050BC: The Atlantians, now a full blown space empire, attack several less-equpped nations and adds them to their own empire.

11,000BC: fresh from winning the Demon Wars, a galactic power known as the Zoir embark on a war of Galactic conquest. Many worlds are destroyed, including the Atlantian homeworld. Some escape and make it to Earth. An Atlantian Mothership, Posiedon's Fury, escapes and becomes lost in space

10,000BC: The Atlantian empire on Earth begins wars of expantion. The only 2 powers that are able to mount a defense are Egypt and Athens (Greece). Athenian spies infiltraite the Atlantian capital and set off a doomsday weapon, the Thermal Bomb. This sinks Atlantis and destroyes all current civilizations. Greece and Egypt are forced to rebuild after losing most of the tech they had gained.

10,000BC-2100AD: Atlantians are spread across the globe, and accomplish many things. Menes, the 1st ruler of Egypt, was an Atlantian. So was Hammaraubi, Aristotle, Hector of Troy, Justinian, Quizicotal (god of the Aztecs), varius other Gods of mythology, the Inventor of Gameshows, among others.

2100AD: Atlantians from all over the globe start migrating to a small bunch of Islands in the pacific, right next to the APTO main landmass.

2100-2150AD: Varius wars (Rukemian wars, Elarian civil war) are fought by AO. After a string of victorys, the Atlantians are crushed in the Elarian civil war, forcing AO to adopt a policy of islationism (still in effect, but I'm gonna change the policy soon). AO eventualy joins the APTO. Eventualy, AO begins to too back to the stars, and begins a mass migration to a cluster on the far side of the galaxy, using jumpnodes

NOW: we've found the Homeworld

After the Ice Age, the people of this thus-far-unnamed-nation thought that thier troubles were over and now they could come out of thier little caves and be happy. They were, of course, wrong. Due to the fact that they had just-plain bad luck, they lived in what turned out to be almost a desert, except without cactus or cool-looking lizards. So these troubled and unhappy people banned together in one giant cave and set up a government. Their first officials were previously-unemployed circus preformers, who trained monkeys for a hobby. Thus, the nation's only defense was that of the trained monkeys, who happened to be distantly related to the ninja. So, after a vote, the monkey's nomition won and the nation came to be known as Plotting Ninja Monkeys.

But today, things have changed. The people are still troubled and unhappy, but they have thier own houses now to be troubled and unhappy in. The government officials are not circus preformers, of course (after the ninja monkeys rebelled, the species of circus preformers was wiped out) but their decisions are equally rediculous. The monkeys were exiled after thier rebellion, and we're not sure where exactly they are now. And so the nation is almost defenseless, except for its citizen's extreme apathy towards death and thier willingness to deploy midgit kittys with bombs tied to them.

And we close with a common farewell: "Try not to die."

As I metion in my reigon's factbook, Brazas was colonized by brazilian missionaries in the 1830s, and the naive population quickly mingled with the missionaries.
Shortly before WWII, Brazas was granted independence and a constitution was quickly written up. After WWII, a large number of Nazi refugees came to the island, seeking a place with little American presence. Although the island was more than agreeable, the mostly mixed population were loathed by the Germans, who took up the north.
Over the years, the hatred remained, and it became ripe recruiting grounds for the KKK, who wished to establish overseas bases. In 1959, the KKKB (Ku Klux Klan of Brazas) was formed, and began thier campaign of hatred. Joining forces with other German hate groups, the KKKB attempted a coup on July 28, 1962, Independence Day. The coup failed, and the president declared a state of emergency.
Thier hopes for a quiet takeover destroyed, German militia assembled and began a hostile campaign against the Brazan army. Within days, almost 25% of the island was KKKB-controlled. Sensing defeat in the future, the Brazan government offered a cease fire to the rebels. The rebels accepted, and took it one step further by declaring the captured territory Hitler Deutchland, in honor of their evil leader.
A massive plague swept the island soon after, leaving many young people in charge, people who valued thier autonomy, but did not care either way about Aryan pride. Today, the two nations share the island in peace, and the old war is long forgotten.

Boom-ville was founded by the great warrior Vescinus Maximus Glebula. He was a powerful soldier, who found perfection in nano-technology. After his 'Developement', he began to gather others into his Empire. His legions were superior to anything anyone had ever faced. Genetically altered at birth, and nano-enhanced shortly after, his people were more powerful than anything he could have imagined.
They quickly ascended to the stars. No one in history had gained space flight so easily. And, with space flight, the Boom-villians dominated the skys. they quickly ammassed a Galactic Empire as well as a Planetary one.
Then, in the middle of the 'Golden Age',as it was to be know as, a great prophecy was made. The Catalyst was to come and bring the people of Boom-ville absolute perfection. Joy spread throughout the Empire, Holidays were held, people celibrated, wars stopped, the people, were happy.
But, the prophecy did not mention the hardships that the people would endure before The Catalyst would come. Massive defeat in Intergalactic wars and economic deppression found the people of Boom-ville, and life was tough.
But the people take it in stride, knowing that their perfection and their retribution is on its way. When will The Catalyst arrive? Where is The Catalyst now? How will he come?
