The Eternal Dominion of Wretchengard is pleased to announce the recent completion of the 1st Gravitic Armada. The newest addition to the Crimson Navy is expected to usher in a new era of dominance for the Eternal Dominion.
1st Gravitic Armada (40 ships total):
2 large carriers
2 dreadnaughts
4 battleships
4 air destroyers
8 cruisers
12 heavy missile frigates
8 AA frigates
OOC: The vessels were constructed according to plans given to the nation by Melkor's Imperium, and are basically the same as their Imperial counterparts save for some aesthetic differences.

OOC: Sorry, I've always been the most inept person ever at finding good pics. :( The full thread is on the Arda forums, I just posted the end result here on advice from Melkor in order to avoid IGNORE-age by the NS community. I'll post the whole thread here, on the off chance that someone actually wants to read it.
WNN (Wretchengard News Network) at 7 o' clock:
Due to rising hostility towards the Arda Alliance and its allies, the department of defense is greatly increasing the budget for gravship R&D and production. Wet water production and R&D budgets have been slashed to literally nothing, and all available Wretchan companies have been called upon to begin the most massive production of military vessels in the history of the nation. Numerous foreign companies have been contacted (OOC: essentially all Ardan manufacturers who deal in gravitic or equivalent craft, TG or post somewhere if you would like such a contract) as well to design guidance and weapon's systems, as well as other software.
"This production shouldn't do any harm to our economy," Warlord Baldur Grimwald, head of the defense department, commented. "We are diverting funds mostly from other areas in the military's total budget, most notably the wet water navy. A tax increase will also be necessary to pay for this production, but that is not what's important here. The big picture here is that there may be turbulent times ahead, and we don't want anyone to have an advantage over us. We must do this to protect our way of life and Wretchans everywhere."
With the rise of the gravship now imminent, the days of the traditional wet water warship seem to be at an end. The wet water Armadas will likely be decommisioned and scrapped as their gravitic replacements become functional.
"I'll miss the old tubs too," High Admiral Dolmont of the Crimson Navy commented "but we have to keep up with the times. It will not be long before exclusively wet water vessels are obsolete, and those who cling to obsolete technologies die with obsolete technologies."
The vessels to be produced are quite similar to the Imperial design, with some aesthetic and other minor differences.

We are pleased to announce the completion of 15 gravships, consisting of 6 AA and 6 missile frigates and 3 cruisers. Construction is well underway, and the 1st Gravship Armada* should be completed fairly soon.

Update:
13 more Wretchan gravships completed: 1 dreadnaught, 1 battleship, 2 Air Destroyers, 3 cruisers, and 6 heavy-missile frigates.
Construction has also begun on a new class of gravship, the Dominance-class dreadnaught. This new class of vessel will be larger than its standard Imperial counterpart, but will only hold a similar amount of approximately 40 fighters. The new class of dreadnaught will, however, possess far superior firepower compared to nearly any gravship in the world today. The first (and possibly only, due to astronomical costs) vessel of this class constructed will be called Inexorable. The vessel is to be christened as the new flagship of the Crimson Navy upon its completion.

Update:
With construction of 2 large carriers, 1 more dreadnaught, 3 more battleships, 2 more air destroyers, 2 more cruisers, and 2 more AA frigates, the 1st Gravitic Armada of the Crimson Navy is complete (except for the flagship Inexorable, which will take some time to complete yet.)
