I the governor of the Dictatorship of Trailstar am supplying the Country of Outer Amazonia with my military forces to use for their protection and mine:- :twisted:

The forces in transfer are:-

7 Aircraft carriers with 2 escort ships per carrier
(total of 420 stealth fighters, 180 stealth bombers, 7 carriers, 14 escort battleship cruisers)

5 Battalions of tanks (500 in total)

23000 Special forces troops:-
(including, 3000 paratroopers, 10000 Special forces footsoldiers, 5000 Special assault soldiers and 5000 Multipurpose assault soldiers)

This offer may be withdrawn when troops are needed for protection more than i would require at the present moment.
Matthew Elliot the governor of Outer Amazonia is required to give protection of my country with his military which now includes mine.

My country (Dictatorship of Trailstar) is currently researching Nuclear tactics, Nuclear bombs and a revolutoinary rocket design to be able to send the nuclear missiles around the world.

We are on scedule for our first missile by the 10th of May 2004, and then 10 more each week as all resources are going into this project!

3 missiles of each production will be donated to matthew elliot the governor of Outer Amazonia and 2 of the seven remaining will be up for sale to other countries, offers will be decided between myself and the buyer so please put up your orders and offers now as stocks will soon disappear.

We are not interested. We already have the capability to launch ICBMs at any point on the globe.

Trialstar, buddy try not to God-Mod too much cos my counrty dont have that many troops and its like old and well-developed.
Anyway I express my gratitude at your offer, however Outer Amzonia has a very strict policy against Nuclear Weapons as they can cause unneccesary destruction which can perish the world as we know it if abused by power hungry leaders. However, I would be willing to accept a fraction of your army, for example maybe 8-10 M.I.G fighter planes and 2 stealth planes, and maybe 200 commandos.

OOC: Trailstar, has your navy never heard of submarines? Carrier escort of two surface combatants and carrier air groups with no ASW aircraft is insane, the first sub to come along with have a blast bagging itself a few carriers.

Destroyers and ASW might not be glamourous, but they're just as important as bigass wings of stealth fighters, if not more so.

GMC, you do not understand the skill of deception and understating your power, obviously you being an inexperience Ruler of your country would not have come across the Deception Policy used internationally by most developed countries.

Several of my Winged Gremlins report they have been playing with your missiles guidance system & that those missiles you fired have just returened to your nation...........sorry.

It's really quite simple. You made an IC action (nuclear attack) for OOC reasons. GMC oocly pointed out your Carriers are ridiculously undefended, which they are.

Also incase you havn't noticed GMC IS a moderator.

Red October in the book was a converted Typhoon class boomer, not an attack sub. Using a tunnel drive / catepillar on an HK sub would be fairly pointless, since the stealthyness would be offset by the increase in displacement and size to accomodate the new equipment and the colossal drop in speed. Recall:

'Why did we drop it?' Ryan was taking rapid notes.
'Mostly efficiency. You can only get so much water down the pipes no matter how powerful your motors are. And the drive system took up a lot of room. They partially beat that with a new kind of electric induction motor, I think, but even then you'd end up with a lot of extraneous machinery inside the hull. Super-quiet is good if you want to do depressed-trajectory ICBM launches [which is exactly what Red October was for in the book], but rather limited in use outside that.

OOC posts cannot cause IC responses, cardboard nukes duly ignored. And as Dyelli Beybi pointed out, I am a moderator. So, effects = nought, and your nation doesn't exist.
