One World Nation (Closed RP)
The world was indeed changing. New powers were rising amidst the thousands of nations in the vast expanse. Only the strong would survive.
And had been merely a few weeks since the militant leader, Tempero Omadin, had seized control of Caligatio from the former President known only as Todd M.
It was done so in a "fair and open" election, but the corruption ran deep nonetheless. Tempero was a vicious man, leader of the Morality Attacks staged months before he took office. Though the shape of the nation showed evidence of a very competent political ruler, which Tempero had turned out to be, his policy towards other nations was ruthless.
Foreign aid was rarely, if ever, sent. Free enterprise was allowed, but corruption ran deep with the utter freedom of capitalism.
In the headquarters of Omadin, located in the capital city of Caligatio, 75 miles off the northern coast, the madman summoned one of his many minions, as he liked to call them.
"Contact the Dominion of Coventry. Tell them a new power rises in the One World Nation. Tell them Tempero has come to power. Strongly suggest that such a force not be hindered, but helped. Do it now."

Elias Remington, sole ruler of the Dominion of Conventry, looked over his schedule of appointments behind large oak desk. After a few more minutes of boredom he quietly got up and paced lazily around his lavish office. The office was furnished well, at the front of the room oppressively large elegant wooden doors allowed entrance. A magnificent well stocked book shelf took up most of the wall to the left. The wall behind his desk was really more of a gigantic window with which he could look out and survey the wondrous city of Conventry. It was here that his pacing had taken him.
The glass was a good 4 inches thick and bullet proofed to protect from snipers, but was perfectly transparent. A ring from his disk awoke Elias from his moment of silnce and a voice sound over his computers speaker system.
"Mr. Remington, a delegate from the Confederacy of Caligatio is here to see you. He says he has an appointment." his secretary said.
"That´s impossible," Elias thought to himself, "I just looked over my schedule, I dont have any meetings until 3:00 with the CEO of Rothos Inc."
He seated himself and brought up his schedule again on his ´puter. sure enough, he now had an appointment with this suspicious delegate from Caligatio. His right hand thumbed a button and he brought himself into direct contact with Dorian Hadley, the director of his secret body guard service.
"Dorian I have a suspicions over this delegate from Caligatio. I want you and your boys to keep an eye on him."
With the press of another button he was back in contact with his secretary.
"Thank you Ms. Wetmore, go ahead and send him in now."
[(OOC)] I suggest you take on the role of your delegate now.
The delegation from Caligatio had just arrived when they were immediately bussed into the capital city towards the headquarters of the ruler of Coventry in a swarm of bullet-proof SUV's. Proper treatment for the self-proclaimed most powerful nation in the region.
The envoy consisted of three men. One of them was clothed in an a black suit with a white dress shirt. His hat resembled that of a 1900s mafia one. His glasses were lightly tinted, and he carried a black briefcase which was handcuffed to his arm. They entered the office of Mr. Elias Remington.
"Greetings Mr. Remington."
He motioned for the other two, who were both armed with two Desert Eagles, one of the most powerful handguns known to man, to take their places at opposite corners of the room. Setting his briefcase on Remington's desk, he quickly began to unlock it.
"My name is Gregor Lenko. I represent the nation of Caligatio under its supreme ruler, Tempero Omadin. We have come to evaluate your country and perhaps, if it is fitting, offer you a chance at an alliance. How does that sound?"

Elias´s head officer of his security force, Dorian Hadley, entered his office and took his place at Elias´s right side.
"It´s been taken care of sir." Dorian said.
He was of course referring to the security precautions that were to be put into affect in case of such a situation.
In a few minutes the representative was allowed entry. The large oak doors were pushed open and three men came filing in, one with a briefcase handcuffed to his hand. Elias already knew that he didnt like the man.
Elias remained sitting and kept his placid to avoid revealing any emotion. He sat up in his plush chair and evaluated the situation he was in. Two men, apparently bodyguards, stood in the corners surveying him with suspician. They were undoubtedly armed underneath there extravegant business suits.
"My name is Gregor Lenko. I represent the nation of Caligatio under its supreme ruler, Tempero Omadin. We have come to evaluate your country and perhaps, if it is fitting, offer you a chance at an alliance. How does that sound?"
Elias eyed the briefcase that had been placed on his desk. It was kept at just the right angle so as not to allow him a view of what was inside. It was no secret that the new president of Caligatio cared only for himself. Any form of alliance would be for his benefit in the end.
"As you well know. the Dominion of Coventry is a large flourishing and rich nation. Our military is powerful and one of the most highly trained and experienced in the world. I can see that there is much that Caligatio could gain from such an alliance with us." Elias paused for dramatic effect. "What my question is, what does Caligatio have to offer us?"
Upon hearing the reply of the ruler of Coventry, Lenko pulled up a chair on the opposite side of the desk Remington sat at and began pulling several files out of his briefcase.
"The Dominion of Coventry is indeed rich and flourishing, and the might of your military is much admired by Caligatio. Our country, with its ever-increasing population and centrist policies, has ever been an international one, dealing well with foreign affairs at the same time as keeping our country in check. Much can be gained from this alliance mutually."
Lenko flipped open several of the file folders, the insides of which were littered with documents detailing the policies and statistics of Caligatio, all of which impressively proved its dominance in the One World Nation region. The man lowered his sunglasses, staring at Remington with a slight grin on his face.
"I would say it wasn't what we could gain from an alliance with you, but what you could gain from us, Mr. Remington. This region, or the rule of this region, has been so far uncontested. I think it is time that someone, or some alliance, steps forward, gains control, and makes its policies known for the weaker minded of this world (region)."

Lenko spoke of such things as mutual benefit throught he alliance. However Elias knew the only thing that mattered to Tempero is that Caligatio, not Conventry, came out on top in the end. The thought of being used as a tool bothered Elias, but he could play along until the time was ripe for his own plans to come to Fruition.
"I can see how there could be a mutual benefit between our two nations." Elias spoke in a commanding tone, not allowing himself to be intimidated by Lenko. "However I would only accept on the condition that we enter this partnership as Equals."

Sorry it took so long for a reply. It is easy to get distracted over here and im not the best writer either so it is sometimes hard to think of something cool to say. Not to mention I ont speak english on a regular basis anymore. :)
((Yeah, I understand how that would be difficult. Glad to see you posting again, though.))
Lenko analyzed the long pause that happened before the ruler of Coventry responded, knowing that Remington had suspicions about Caligatio's intentions already.
"Equals. Partners. Words mean nothing, really. But I can assure you, our President would be more than happy to consider you an ally in this conquest of the One World Nation."
Lenko stood and closed his briefcase. Summoning his two bodyguards, he walked towards the door. Before exiting, he turned and spoke some parting words to Remington.
"We will contact you soon, Mr. Remington. If you have the need to reach us first, my number is included with the files I gave you. 'Till then."
With that, Lenko took his leave, headed towards the airport in the same SUV's, and traveled back to Caligatio to report what he had heard and seen to his leader, Tempero Omadin.

(Okay finally gonna reply)
As soon as Lenko left the room Elias turned and spoke to Dorian.
"Dorian, I dont trust Lenko and his "alliance" one bit. However we may profit in the end from this. Its worth the risk. Until then i would like to know a little bit more on what is happening on the Caligation side of things. Get an agent working on it."
Dorian gave a slight smile and only nodded before he left to organize the agent. He entered the extravagent reception area and took a right to head to his office. After seating himslef behind his desk he bagan preparing his ´puter to send a coded transmission to one of Conventry´s assassins.
Aproximitly 50 years ago Conventry had began a secret program. The program´s mission was to create the most deadly and skilled assassins in the world. Promisingly intelligent and skilled youth would be taken at a young age to begin their secret training. They were to be skilled in all forms of stealth and security. Able to operate of quiet a lethal weapons ranging from Katanas to sniper rifles. Absolutely deadly in hand to hand combat with the use of martial arts. And most importantly, they are completely and totally loyal to the current ruler of conventry. The thought of giving their lives in the service of the state did not disturb then in the slightest way.
The transmission was sent. Somewhere one of Conventry´s ninja assassins had just recieved orders to infiltrate and spy in the land of Caligatio. Dorian felt a chill of power as he realized the strength of the weapon he had just unleashed.
