Foe Hammer taking Zero-Tolerance position

Foe Hammer

Due to recent unforseen attacks on Military Convoys, Empress Jessica Nordlund II of Foe Hammer has reinstated Foe Hammer's Zero-Tolerance plan.

Any hostilities shown towards Foe Hammer will be met with equal hostilities, and possibly physical retaliation.

In other words, don't taunt the Tiger and not expect some missing limbs.

While we certainly respect your right to defend yourselves from the more agressive elements of the galaxy's inhabitants, and while we openly condemn all nations and organizations that attack or steal without provocation for personal gain the property of legitimate nations, we must show concern for the trend of aggressive stances being taken by our friends in the Foe Hammer government. The Socialist Republic of Xanthal wishes to remind the Empress that violence begets violence, and a policy such as the one she is instating will likely lead her nation into almost perpetual conflict due to the untamed nature of space. We realize that it is not our place to meddle in your policy, but may we recommend an alternative? Xanthal, Teritora, Klonor, and many other nations that have dipped their feet into the infinate beyond are currently using large fleets of modest, yet powerful, police vessels to ensure order is maintained and to protect convoys of unarmed or inadequately-armed nature through both national and international space. While this certainly will not end your problem, it should allow you to protect almost all of your convoys while still maintaining a state of peace in your nation. If time is an issue, we would even be willing to provide use of our own police forces until your own infrastructure is in place. We would gladly sell you designs for our own police vessels. You must choose your own path, of course. You may follow our advice, find your own alternative, or pursue your original course, but we wish only peace and prosperity for our allies, and your policy put both is jeopardy.

We see nothing wrong with the current Foe Hammer zero tolerance policy. In fact, some of us were slightly suprised that Empress Jessica Nordlund II had decided to stop the policy in the first place. Maybe after the empress trounces a few nations, the rest will learn that she is not one to be trifled with. By the way.....this is off the record right?

I respect your concerns for others, but our Naval and Police forces are at their peak rates. These were minor attacks, only damaging a few vessels, but simply setting this issue aside could clear the path for an even larger attack, and leave a rather large hole in our defenses. Foe Hammer has been on the receiving end of many threats, and we feel it is time to take action, and enact the practice of Primitive Law. We must show the international community who's top dog, and give all nations fair warning that pulling the Tiger's tail can have deadly results.

Foe Hammer: Such policies are destined to fail in one way or another. Eventually you will be provoked by a foce that is greater than your own. When that day comes, you will be forced to leap to your own doom or ruin your credibility by going back on your word. One should avoid making commitments that are impractical to honor.

Thank you for your support. Our nations share similar views on many topics. You will always be a welcome ally of Foe Hammer.

Suit yourself.

We take such views on these subjects because you never know when a man with a gun is just around the corner.
