OOC: A continuation of Mayhem at the Mansion (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=122838&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=140). I hope that it isn't too weird for you if you read it. :wink:

A cloud of dark energy begins to cover the land, covering a section of Coreworlds. Earlier in the week, demonic creatures have been summoned, and captured numerous children from their homes and orphanages, including a friend of the Chancellor of -Noir-, who was visiting at the time. The Red Dragons, once disbanded, has resurrected, and now menaces the world. With their dark magics, they seek to control the powers of darkness, for their own ends...

OOC:
I need good guys and bad guys to supplement this RP. Magic, lasers and bullets will fly, in a looming war to decide the fate of millions of souls.

I am in, as Jack Blake, and also the Emperor.

Inside the cloud, lies the Red Dragon Headquarters, defended by powerful red dragons, dangerous to many military equipment, and ninjas and demons, the footsoldiers of the Dragons. The cloud is only accessable to those initiated within the dark organization and contain dark energy within them, or with enough light ki/chakra/spirit energy/etc to penetrate the shroud.

"My lord, we are ready." A ninja kneeled before the red-robed leader.
"Excellent. Prepare a sacrifice. One of the orphans will do." Lord Quortan ordered softly.
"As you wish."

A small boy was plucked from the dungeons where the shadows lie. He is terribly frightened, empowering the darkness with his fears. The boy was taken to the center of the temple, where robed sorcerors chanted. A portal opens, revealing darkness like nothing the world has ever seen before.

"Powers of darkness, grant us your aid."

A terrible voice spoke through the portal. "What is the price you wish to pay for my aid?"

"A child, my Lord." Roughly, the boy was dragged before the portal.

"Hmm. A potent child. Young and fresh. Seasoned well with fear. His heart pumps fiercely. But now, it is time to die."

With that, black tendrils reached out for the child. He screamed and tried to run, but the sorcerors blocked his path. The tendrils grabbed the child, and pulled him into the portal. The last thing the child ever saw, a huge mouth with sharp, glistening teeth. Pain beyond pain was his last feeling, as the Lord of Demons ate and swallowed the child. If anyone could see the creature, he would have blood running down his mouth.

"I accept your sacrifice."

It was night, and I dreamed.

I dreamed of a terrible war between demons and many nations. Cities were ravaged, blood flowed freely, destruction as far as the eye can see. Two stood before a black pulsating mass of pure evil, alone against the Demon King. Me with my lightsaber, and a boy about fifteen or sixteen (Keiji), wielding a katana. Black tendrils snaked out at us and we slashed at them, one after another. There were too many tendrils to fight, and at a fatal moment, the tendrils snagged the two of us, and the pulsating mass opened it’s mouth and then…

I woke up, sweaty and in the dark. It was a week since the assault on the mansion, and the shroud of darkness reported on the news hasn’t lifted or anything. I tried to get back to sleep, but found that I couldn’t, so I put on a tunic and jeans, and walked out to get some fresh air, and to try and divulge what this dream I just had meant. Was it just a dream, or was it an actual vision of things to come? I needed to speak with someone…

"Sir?" Jack Blake asked, as he secretly followed The president Jack was wering a black sweater, over a black shirt, with black baggy pants on, he had an earpeice in his ear, with the curly wire running down out of his stocking cap. In his hand he bore his AK-47. "Are you ok sir, I saw you come outside, rather in a hurry, with sweat all over you."

"Hmm. It's all right. Just had a nightmare."

OOC: I can portray a good or evil character, or both. As soon as MS' computer comes back up, I'll sure he'll submit someone as well.

A strange robotic creature arrives at the Red Dragon HQ. The thing stands at around 4'2" tall, and moves with deliberate steps. Each arm ends in a hand, the five fingers are long, slightly curving blades. The outer plating of the machine is jet black, made of a metal not naturally occouring in nature.

Unit X1 approaches the compound. The first of the Exterminator class of Devilish units, Unit X1 was endowed with truly free will, able to operate without the supervision of a commander unit, as Grunts, Gunners, and Bombers where required to do. X1 had been sent to set up alliances between this new cult and the Devilish Collective, as well as stay on as a personal link between the two organizations. More units could be called upon if needed, and X1 would make this clear.

He approached the sentry...

'Lifeform determined to be biological. Classification: Human. Gender: Male. Status: Alert. Heart Rate: Slightly above observed normal. Armament: Firearm of standard design. Conversing...'

X1 activated 'his' external speaker, between the large viewplates that dominated most of his square head...

"Query: Is this the building designated 'Red Dragon Headquarters?"

X1 waits silently for a response...

OOC: How well do I remember the Devilish!

"Yes. How did you get though the shroud, and what are you doing here?" The ninja said, leveling his laser weapon at the robotic creature.

Meanwhile, Unit 942, the only Devilish unit that has morals, activated with a start. Jedi Knight Jorius Fimont, who met the unit and brought him into the nation, noticed the odd motion.

"Fortou, what's going on?"
"Answer: Detecting...familiar signals."
"What? You mean...the Devilish?"
"Affirmative. Have not detected them in a very long time."
"Great. They must be back. This is not good."
"True. They may seek to dismantle...me."
"Yeah, we must go to the Masters. They need to be aware of this."
"Affirmative." The cyborg-like creature and the Jedi went out to seek the Jedi Masters.

{Inside the CW's Presidential Palace, one of the bedrooms. Keiji wakes up from his long night}

Keiji: *Yawn* How long have I been asleep???

{He looks at his watch on the side table}

Keiji: 9:00...I want to sleep...No, can't have to force myself awake...

{Keiji gets out of bed and walks over to the table, on which rests a khaki uniform (slacks and a short-sleeve button down shirt) with a black leather jacket right next to it}

Keiji: Hmmm...Need to get a sneaking suit from the mobile CP downstairs later...Nah...I'll just call them to bring me up a suit so I won't have to change out of my uniform...

{Keiji picks up his cell phone from the table, holds it for a few seconds then props it back onto the stand}

Keiji: Forgot...Had my CODEC fixed last night...

{With 2 fingers, he taps a spot behind his ear that activates the CODEC, the nano-machines tune into the CP frequency then an Intel Officer answers}

Intel Officer: Yes, sir...

Keiji: Can you tell someone to bring up my sneaking suit...And I want those experimental shades you guys brought back from R&D...

Intel Officer: Is that all sir?

Keiji: *Yawn* Get me some breakfast also...French toast maybe...

Intel Officer: Is that it?

{Keiji yawns again (shows that he is still partially asleep)}

Keiji: Also get some for Mireille...

Intel Officer: Uh...Sir...She is um...Remember?

{Keiji pauses, and his expression turns into panic, as he remembers. He calms himself down and in his mind sets down his day's priorities}

Keiji: I want to know the location AEGIS Team is and when they are going to arrive. I believe SEAL Teams 00-05 are here...And...The Spetsnaz Teams are still at -Noir-...The SEAL Teams are enough...Hmmm...And I also want a full set of Stealth Camo available for AEGIS Team and myself...I also want all teams with nano-machines, and readied for combat ASAP...

Intel Officer: Yes, sir! Right on it sir...

Keiji: I want full scans of CoreWorlds, everything you got...we need to locate that enemy base...

Intel Officer: Already on it...Started last night...

Keiji: Good...And get Stryker Battalions 01-05 ready, and Crusader Battalions 01 and 02 ready.

Intel Officer: Order confirmed, Battalions are being readied and transported out...Anything else sir?

Keiji: Tell them to wake me up in 5 minutes...and get a warm shower running...and keep my breakfast warm...and also I want to hold an important staff meeting in my room, get the room ready while I take a shower...

Intel Officer: Uh...sir?

{Keiji turns off the CODEC and slowly crawls back to the bed and takes a short nap, thinking about how to tackle this situation}

OOC: Technically, the Red Dragons have not gotten that far into space, but as Coreworlds is a mixed modern, fantasy and future tech nation, it's a possibility, especially if they captured the kid while he's dropped off a transport starship.

Meanwhile, satellite photos show a giant black, nearly impenetrable mass covering the desert part of the nation, to the south. Martial law has been declared in towns 20 miles from the mass, as an increased crime wave was reported when people flee the mass, and criminals start looting.

This sounds interesting and i may have a charecter...but what tech am i alowed and what is the reason for fighting?

OOC: with a heavy dose of magic. Tech base: fantasy to future. Magic is fine, blasters are fine, anything in between is fine. After all, a bolt of lightning can kill just as well as a blaster bolt or a bullet round.

Ambrose: Commandant Siegfried, Colonel Campbell, and General Benoit are still at the mobile CP downstairs...And yes we have the intel.

{Ambrose motions to one of the soldiers who then walks up to the table, takes out a black briefcase, and takes out the laptop inside of it. Ambrose walks up to the laptop and inputs several codes and pulls up several maps and diagrams up onto the screen}

Ambrose: Here it is...Maps of the entire nation of CoreWorlds...All scans...And i've also got the specs of some new equipment and weapons that just came this morning from DARPA.

Keiji: Good...

Ambrose: And I got also got one Stealth Camo fresh from the assembly line.

{Ambrose places a small thin 2x3 inch metal box onto the table. Keiji picks it up and examines it}

Keiji: Cool...How's it work?

{Right when he asked his question, he taped a small button on the device and Keiji instantly vanished from the room}

Keiji: Hey it works...

Ambrose: The Stealth Camo works by bending the light around the person or object...But...

{Ambrose takes out a flashlight and shines the light onto where Keiji was standing. Once the light from the flashlight directly hit Keiji, one can clearly see a mirrory but semi-transparent outline of Keiji's}

Ambrose: The majority of the effectiveness of the Stealth Camo is compromised when the person or object is in a well lighted area, or possibly when it is raining....

Keiji: Ok...So what you are saying is don't use it in well-lighted areas...and maybe rain...That's great...

{Keiji presses the button again and switches the Stealth Camo off}

Ambrose: But the Stealth Camo has another unique feature...It can hide your light ki aura...So no one will be able to sense your light ki...

{Then suddenly Colonel Campbell stumbles in panting, he seems to have run up the stairs from the mobile CP outside}

Campbell: *pant* Sir...It's urgent...We need you at the CP right now...

{Campbell runs back outside followed by Keiji and General Ambrose, the soldiers that came in earlier had already been told to leave a few minutes earlier.}

Keiji: What is going on???...Whoa...what was that surge of power...Hmmm...

Campbell: I can't tell you now...Once we get to the CP...

{The group makes their way downstairs and outside into the courtyard, where a -Noir- mobile Command Post had been set up a few days ago}

Keiji: What is going on tell me!

Intel Officer: Sir, we have just received reports that there is a mass fluctuation of dark ki energies 50 miles due west of here...

{Then the CP door opens and in walks the ninja that had defected from the Red Dragons}

Ninja: Did you just feel that energy spike, Keiji!?!? I was looking for you to tell you...

Keiji: Yes, I did...On my way downstairs...

Ninja: I have felt this kind of power before, this usually symbolizes that they are bringing together their forces and readying to move...

Keiji: Hmm...Someone call John...He needs to know about this...

Intel Officer: He is on his way now, sir.

Keiji: Good...

Ambrose: Sir, the Battalions we sent for, from -Noir- are here...both the Crusader Battalions and Stryker Battalions...AEGIS Team had just touched down at the airport and are now making their way here...

Keiji: They arrived at the nick-of-time...Get and observer drone out there and spy on the enemy base...Use frequency 45.

Intel Officer: Sir, that line is experimental, if we try to use it now, it might fry the circuits in the computers...We can't focus that much energy from our existing power supplies...

Keiji: Then tap into the Palace power supply, I doubt John would mind...

Intel Officer: Affirmative, I'm right on it.

Campbell: Sir, all SEAL Teams are ready...

Keiji: I want 2 SEAL Teams to create a tight defensive perimeter around this entire building. Also get one Stryker group to guard the CP and the Palace grounds...

Campbell: Yes, sir.

Keiji: I also want to check out those new weapons systems, someone show me where they are...

{Keiji starts to walk out of the CP with Ambrose to check the weapons, then Keiji turns around to issue another order}

Keiji: Once AEGIS Team arrives, I want them to meet me in the dining hall for a meeting...And also tell John, when he arrives in here to meet me in the dining hall once you brief him on the situation...

{Keiji continues to walk out of the CP}

Strange, Jaqck thought, I think the sir is keeping something from me. It wasn't just a nightmare, he is trained as a jedi, jedi don't have nightmares

He wandered away from the president. He walked along a path parralell to John's, he was almost invisible to the human eye, with bushes surrounding him. He could see John perfectly.
He looked at the night sky, the moon was high, it was full as well.
"Such a waste of a good night," He said to himself quietly. "So many bad things happening."
A rhudonderun was bent at the stem. He bent down, and straightned it up. Standing up he smiled. Well, there are somehtings happy in this world, for instance the sir is married.

TECHON
Emperor Imitus VI (I will just call him Imitus from now on) sat in his throne, on the tenth level of his palace. He was dressed in robes. A fine red silk, that ended at his feet. Along the collars of the sleeve were gold lines, in a very decorative fashion.
He bore his one ring, the orange one, which symbolized hope. He had no more jewlery, for he had given his green ring, (which symbolized trust,) and his big silver necklace, (which symbolized love). to the newly weds, John and his wife.
On his head he bore a different crown, this one was gold, with red jewels going across in a straight line. It was mid day, and the sun was high. Throught he two open windows, which strechted the entire lenght of the room, thirty feet from floor to ceiling, light flooded in. Outside the windows the city could be seen. It was very large, and stretched out far intot he land. The city was like a medieval chinese city. Outside the city was forests.
"Damn these Red dragons," His advisor Barrin said as he paced back and forth in front of the throne. "They have taken twenty of the children from our city already."
"What would ninja's want with a child?" Jebideth, the other advisor asked.
"Obviously nothing," Barrin said. "Or they wouldn't have kidnapped only one."
Jebideth shook his head in understanding.
"Sire," Jebideth asked. 'May Barrin and I speak with you in private?"
"We are," Imitus answered in his bone chilling voice.
Jebideth waved his hands at the two royal guards, who were standing next to the door, in samuri armour.
"Of course," Imitus said. "Guards, you are excused."
The guards bowed, and then walked out through the door.
"Sire," Jebideth started. "We believe that there will be another attack tonight."
"How so?" Imitus asked.
"Reports of a man in red dragon uniform has been said. He has been hiding amongst the shadows.
"Then we shouild act, send out our greatest warrior to protect the city." Imitus said.
"You mean Sheda Shiye?" Barrin asked.
"Yes, him, he will take care of it," Imitus said.
"Yes sire," Jebideth said, and walked off, Barrin followed, but was stopped by Imitus. "Barrin." He asked.
"Yes sire?" Barrin asked.
"How is my father doing?"
Barrin hesitated. "He is, better, Noir's doctors seem to be of a great help. He isn't totally better yet though," He hesitated again. "We aren't sure if they were to late though."
Imitus bowed his head for five seconds, raised it back up and said. "You are dismissed."
"Very well sire," Barrin said, bowing, and then leaving.

Meanwhile, the Jedi Council in the nation has convened.
"There is a grave disturbance in the Force." Jedi Master Amras Elendil said. He is an elf, and a powerful one at that. "The dark cloud has begun to devour the western and southern parts of the nation."

"Yes. Many of the young apprentices have reported nightmares of evil creatures and similar things." Master Erica Valient replied. "This isn't merely a physical battle anymore, I fear."

"It has become a wider struggle." My father, Master Nathan Masaki continued, leaning forward. "A struggle for the lives and souls of perhaps millions of people."

"Mmm. We must seek to stop this cloud from growing any further." Master Gareth Rydo said. "The Dark Side grows stronger each minute we delay."

"My son and his friends and advisors have already begun to formulate a plan. I do believe we could do what we can to aid them. After all, it is as much their struggle as ours." Master Masaki said.

"True, very true. But how, pray tell, will we stop this cloud from going any further?" Master Valient asked.

"That...I believe is the question." Master Elendil concluded. "I should think we need to seek advice and counsel."

"From who? Yoda?" A slight smile from Master Rydo appeared.

"He's been gone for a long time. But, there are times when even the greatest Masters of old can be sought out for advice."

"How is this possible?" My father asked.

"All things are possible, when the Force is involved."

Meanwhile, in the mansion...

I was speaking with Yusuke, my SecDefense, when a member of Keiji's SpecOps stopped me. "Sir, I'm sorry to disturb you, but the Chancellor requests your presence in the dining hall."

"Ok. Can you fill me in on what's up?" Iasked, and he nodded. "Yusuke, get the others, I want them in the dining room in...5 minutes."

"Right." He headed out to search for the others.
The SpecOps troop then lead me to the dining hall.

[OOC:Since it is getting later in the day for you, that means it is night in Techon, first off though, Jack Blake]

Jack walked in from the outside, and was told to report to the president. He walked at a fast pace to the dining hall. He walked in silently, not making a noise, and then took his place to the right of the door.

It was around nine o clock at Techon. The lights were out, and the streets were silent.
A red dragon ran even more silently through the streets. His foot steps making almost no noise.
He did a running jump against a wall, and landed on the roof. From there he ran more, and jumped off on the other side.
He made is way down some stairs, upon reaching the bottom a bass voice belowed out.
"Stop!" The voice was very loud, and in all the silence it sounded like god himself was speaking.
The red dragon turned around, and looked at who spoke.
A man in jet gray armour stood at the top of the stairs. He was in samuri armour, with the helmet and face mask. His mask was blood red, with yellow circles going around the eys. On the cheeks were yellow symbols as well.
"What do you want of me?" The ninja asked quietly.
"Who are you?" The voice asked.
"I am Usiuko Tomka of the Red Dragons," He said honeslty.
"So I thought, and it was follish of you to say," The other man bellowed.
"I do not see why, seeing is how you will not live to tell!" The ninja swiftly pulled out ninja stars, and threw them. The man ducked, and they soared overhead. As swift as lighning he pulled out his sword.
Usiuko did as well. The man jumped at him, sword raised high over his head. Sticking out his arm Usiuko blocked it. The man swung low at Usiuko's legs, but it was parried tot he side.
Usiuko swung down, over the man shoulders, but the man blocked, and attemptedt to punch Usiuko in the chest. Usiuko hit his hand away, and did a backflip.
The man charged at him, and swung to the left, at about stomach height. Usiuko blocked it, hitting the opponets sword from the bottom, making it fly over his head. He then stabbed forward.
The man jumped to the right, his arms in the air, the katana missed by a few inches. Usiuko was open to attack, he swung at neck height, but Usiuko with lightning speed brought his sword up, and blocked it again.
They both simultaniously jumped backwards from each other.
"You are a worth opponet," The mans said. "To bad you will die tonight!"
"I think not," Usiuko said.
They ran at each other, swinging at the same time. They both hit each other's katana in midair. They both swung low, and hit each other's katana again. They kept on switching from offense to defense every so often. They were getting no where. Usiuko jabbed, but the man dodged. Usiuko tried to grab the man's neck with his fist but the man grabbed onto his wrist, and twisted with bull's strenght. Usiuko let out a yell of pain, follishly of himself.
Within mintues three of thw town guard were there, wearing the unifrom, no armour, but red ninja like clothes, without the hood.
They all pulled out their katana's and charged.
Usiuko turned around, and parried one, another swung at his face, and he smacked the hilt with his hand. The third tried to stab his stomach, but he jumped in the air. He came down on top of one of them. He then stabbed downwards, ending the guards life.
The other man from earilier charged, and swung at his chest. He blocked it, and jumped to the left, dodging another attack, and then crouching, dodging another attack.
He pulled out a knife, and threw it, the guards, not being masters of the art, couldn't dodge. It hit one right in the neck, blood squirted out as he fell onto his knees grasping at the hilt of the knife. The other guard looked at his deing comrad, and charged, only to have a ninja star be thrown, hitting him right in the forehead.
The one with the knife in his neck's eyes were wide open. He was trying to take in a breath, but to no avail. Usiuko ran up to him, and almost pittied him, he swung at waist height, decapitating the guard.
The man from before was missing though. Usiuko turned all around, but didn't see him.
"Come here!" He heard the familiar voice bellow.
He ran up the stairs, into a courtyard, the ground was completely tiled with marble. The walked along it, it was about a hundred feet, by a hundred feet. In the middle of the big marble square stood the other man.
Usiuko charged, his sword held just below his waist, and pointing down. He brought it up, and the man blocked. He stabbed forward, and the man blocked. He jabbed, and the man smacked his katana out of the way.
"You cannot defeat me," The man said.
Usiuko jabbed forward again, and his hilt was grabbed onto by the man. The man looked through the eye holes, and then kicked. He hit Usiuko in the stomach, who keeled over because of the metal knee pads the man wore.
Usiuko quickly jumped up though. And jabbed, but his attack was blocked again.
Usiuko swung one last time, and his sword was hit by the opponet's, and the blade shattered.
Usiuko was stunned, and quickly turned and ran. He hopped onto the top of a building. The man followed, easly doing what Usiuko did, even with all the armour. On the roof Usiuko turned and looked at his opponet. He stood beside a stature of a dragon. The opponet charged, he swung, but Usiuko jumped out of the way. His blade hit the statue, cutting it in half.
The man turned around, as the statue slid off, and hit the roof, breaking throught he wood tiles.
The man charged again, and jabbed. Usiuko jumped int he air, and landed on the blade. They looked at each other for ten seconds, Usiuko weight almost having no effect on the man's arm. The man pulled his blade towards him, and Usiuko slid off. Usiuko landed on hsi feet, and the man jabbed.
Usiuko grabbed onto the blade, stopping it before it hit his face. The blade was right between his hands, his palms facing each other.
With suprising strength, he snapped the end of the blade off, about a foot, and as swift as lighting jabbed it at the opponet. It went into his throat, and the opponet said his last words.
"You were a worthy opponet, but you will meet me in the afterlife soon."
Foolish man, Usiuko thought. No I won't
Then from behind, another katana stabbed down. A man, about twenty six, wearing black ninja clothes, with the hood and all, sliced his back open. Usiuko fell forward in pain. He landed on his back, causing more.
"Who are you?!" He yelled.
The man pulled of his hood, it was the emperor. "Your victor, and Sheda Shiye's avenger."
The emperor's voice made Usiuko's last moments in life a nightmare, his voice chilling the red dragon ninja to the bone. He then faded to balck, and breathed no more.
The emperor bowed his head in honor of Sheda Shiye, and the three guards.
Two more guards were standing below the building.
"Sire?" They called up in suprise.
"Clean this mess up, I am visiting the president of CoreWorlds." The emperor said, hopping down fromt he roof, and walking off.

The warrior known as Arkel Nightfang appeared behind the ninja sentry...

"That, softskin, is a Devilish combat unit, of a variation I have not seen before. Bring it before the master. He will be pleased with you..."

Arkel had been in the service of evil for many years, a Dark Argonian with a flair for the sadistic. At the age of 769, he was a very skilled warrior, schooled in the arts of the ninja since his 522 year of life. He was dressed in a black gi, a Vigoorian flail attatched to his lower back, below a ninja blade, basically a short katana with a square tsuba.

Arkel had participated in the initial raid that had stolen the children, taking great pleasure in their fear and sadness as he cut down their parents without mercy or remorse...


At the Jedi Temple, a figure robed in a tattered black cloak approached the reception desk. It is readily apparent that he is not human, a long and dexterous tail follows behind him, trailing out from under his cloak. The outline of a pair of some sort of long objects can be seen under the cloak, giving him a hunched appearence...

"Greetings. Are the masters in council?"

Hope you don't mind me RP'ing Nightfang as a prior servant of the evil power at work in this RP, it seemed to fit better. As for those who have RP'ed with me before, the second character should seem more familiar...

OOC: :shock: *Jaw drops* I bow before your Emperor's skills! Anyway, I'm not bringing the old Masters back to life, not in the way you think (athough it was an idea). One word describes what I am about to do: Holocrons.

The ninja allowed the Devilish unit to enter. He lead it to the temple center, where the Sorcerors were planning attack strategies. The ninja knelt before the sorcerors and the Dark Lord.

"My lords. A Devilish unit wishes to speak with you."
"Very well." Lord Quortan said. "You are dismissed."
The ninja bowed his head, and disappeared into the mist.
"Now, Devilish unit, state your designation and purpose."

Within an hour the jet took off from Techon.

OOC: This Naruto will have an ally in that confrontation. A well-known hunter of great skill has arrived to assist the forces of good in finding the stolen children.

Nightfang followed the Devilish unit, bowing in respect to the gathered commanders, taking his place by the door...

The cloaked figure, nods...

"Yes. We need all the help we can get in finding the children. I am Jedi Master Nathan Masaki, the father of the President, and you are?"

Unit X1 adopted a neutral stance...

"Designation: X1. Purpose: Assassination. Secondary Purpose: Combat. Model: Exterminator. Unit Serial Number: 000001. Current Mission: Messenger. Transmitting...."

Unit X1 stiffens for a moment, then resumes his neutral stance...

"Greetings, Dark One. Unit X1 has been sent to you to forge an alliance between our two peoples. X1 is the most recent model, constructed from the failed AIU (Unit 942 for those who remeber) line. X1 is the finest unit in the Collective's combative forces, and more are in production. Our intel units have traced rogue AIU unit 942 to this area, and X1 has been sent to eliminate 942.

X1 has been plated with meteorite steel, interlaced with a cortosis weave to resist the laser-sword weapons of the jedi, which 942 has been able to develop. It will eliminate 942, as well as assist you in your take-over. End Transmission..."

X1 sagged for a moment, then returned to his neutral stance.

"Query: Further questions?"

OOC: X1 is basically an evil Unit 942, with the same scanning abilites and nanite construction system. His circuitry has been made with silicon-steel, as opposed to the fragile copper circuits that made previous units easy to defeat with heavy blunt impacts. Repeated hacks with a lightsaber across the same general area will defeat X1, but good luck doing so.

The other models have been outfitted with identical circuitry upgrades, as well as mission-specfic upgrades.

Grunts are now plated with high-carbon steel, as opposed to smelted steel on previous models.

Gunners are now plated with high-carbon steel, and carry 10mm gattling cannons with a faster ROF than previous 14mm models.

Commanders are now plated with high-carbon steel, and carry a 10mm autopistol with a much faster ROF than the previous 14mm models.

Infiltrators are now plated with enhanced mithrill, and have sound-dampening leg enhancments and limited cloaking abilites.

Hunters now carry 20mm breach-loading railguns, slower in ROF than the previous 12mm, but with a kill 99% of the time.

Bombers are now plated with high-carbon steel & are loaded with fragmentation pellets as opposed to the previous concussive pellets.

The emperor entered the mansion, along the secret service men. They were not actually secret service men, but top notch elite soldiers. They both bore silver armour, that looks exactly like the armour from Halo. They walked on both sides, and behind the emperor, with assault rifles in hand.
The emperor walked into the dining room. "President Masaki, how nice to see you, even in this dark moment. I am sorry that I am not dressed up formally," He said, showing his ninja clothes. "I left at a harsh time."

"No matter. Looks good on you, actually. It's a pleasure to meet you, your Highness, even in these trying times."

"Thank you," Imitus said. "These are very trying times indeed, twenty children of Techon have been kidnapped. Also my top elite soldier died in battle against one of these Red Dragons."
He took a seat at the table.

"So, we are not alone in this battle. My condolences to the children and to your soldier. I hope we can save the kids before it's too late."

"Statement: Unit X1 has been autorized to summon twenty Jedi Hunter combat units. Continuation: Unit X1 has been created to surpass rogue Unit 942 in all combative engagements. Unit X1 will destroy rogue Unit 942 in under 9.2 seconds."

Unit X1 pauses for the briefest of moments...

"Query: Shall Unit X1 summon Jedi Hunter units?"

The cloaked figure, nods...

"I believe that I may be of service to them. I am here to hunt for lost hatchlings, children as you call them..."

"Yes. We need all the help we can get in finding the children. I am Jedi Master Nathan Masaki, the father of the President, and you are?"

The figure bows in respect and greeting...

"I am a hunter, known as Whiptail. For several centuries I have hunted various entities, from vampires to common criminals to legendary beasts of myth and legend. In my homeland, it is a grave violation of one's honor to take hostages, doubly so if said hostages are children..."

Whiptail pauses for a moment...

"If I am allowed to assist you in your hunt, perhaps I could call upon an old friend? I believe that your son met him at his wedding. His name is Dekker Bray."

{Inside the hall}

Keiji: Ok...

{Keiji looks around at all the heads of state that has gathered in the hall}

Keiji: As you know this is a dire time for all our countries. The Red Dragon organization is a major threat that has hurt us or any part of our countries. We have lost many people to them may they be innocent citizens of your nations or...loved ones...

{Keiji sighs, but continues his briefing}

Keiji: I have called you here so that we may consolidate our forces in order to track down and eliminate the Red Dragon Organization...Just this morning, NIA, or -Noir- Inteligence Agency, has reported that there may be a possible Red Dragon stronghold in CoreWorlds that is atleast 50 miles away from our location. NIA has also reported a high concentration of, possibly, Red Dragon units gathering at this area. The dark shroud surrounding this area is constantly growing at an alraming rate...

{A screen lowered on Keiji's left and a projector switched on and on the screen was a detailed satellite photograph of a specific area of CW of where the Red Dragon Organization was thought to be located. Also on the screen was a live video feed from the -Noir- observation drone that was sent to keep surveillence of the area. But the one thing that both the pictures had incommon was that it did not show any sign of the Red Dragon stronghold}

Keiji: From now on I will just be calling the Red Dragon Organization the "RD" because I am personally getting tired of saying Red Dragon this and Red Dragon that...Ok...Now back to the briefing...

{Keiji points to both parts of the screen}

Keiji: I assume that most of you guys cannot see an image of a building or building complex here in the highlighted area, but I am completely sure that many of the Jedi, ninjas, and myself can clearly see a large gated building complex in the middle of this valley...Also on the video feed, we can see a multitude of movement inside the stronghold, but many of you cannot see them...It may be because many of you do not have enough control for your light ki, or spiritual energies...I know it may look like these things may sound ridiculus and unrealistic, but I assure you that these powers are real...

{Keiji signals to a person in the back of the hall, who then presses a few keys on his laptop which then switches the pictures on the screen. A few gasps are heard from the audience as they see a large building complex slowly magnify onto the screen}

Keiji: As you can now see...This area is crawling with the RD...But I know you may be thinking that we can simply carpet bomb this entire complex and kill everything in it...But this base is protected by dark ki energies...The only way we can defeat or even directly fight this enemy is to lure their troops out into the open, outside their protective dark barrier...

{Keiji looks around again}

Keiji: I believe it is lunch time...So...Intermission for now...Be free to talk amongst yourselves to see what your forces may be able to contribute...

OOC: I am too tired to type so I'm cutting it short for tonight...

"Yes. I do believe we've seen him on the guest list. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to really meet Dekker before the Dragons attacked." Dad said. "Perhaps you can contact him now?"

In the hall...
"Hmm...I may be able to contribute the most numbers, simply because we're closest to the cloud." I said over ramen and other oriental food. "Let's see..."

I pulled up a list of military units on my laptop, careful not to splash noodle juice on it. I selected and activated:
the 15th through 18th Helicopter Assault Wing.
The 3rd Mechanized Division
The 1st through 3rd Regiments of the 2nd Infantry Division
The 25th, 28th and 32nd Tactical Air Wings
The Yosho Naval Air Wing
The Dragon, Viper and Tiger special ops teams
and of course, I left a message with my father to see if he could send some Jedi.
Totaling over 250,000 troops.

"Hey, Naruto, what about your forces?" I asked.
"Hmm...I've already contacted the Hokage about this. He'll contribute about...2000 shinobi, needed to fight these red ninjas."
"Great! We need all the help we can get. Yusuke, how many Spirit Detectives are available at this time?"
"10 are available for the insertion itself. You do know that not everyone has that ability."
"Fair enough. Ok, as soon as everyone agrees on what forces to pool in, we figure out when to start the assault."

As the leaders of nations talk strategy, two figures jumped from roof to roof in the town of Monelia, near the dark ki cloud. Most of the town has evacuated, but there are still a few lingering families, and roaming orphans kicked out of orphanages, easy prey and target practice for demons and ninjas. In a twist sure to make the Demon Lord mad, one of the figures is Hiei, the fire demon, one of the Spirit Detectives. A short person, he doesn't talk much, and is rather cold-blooded at times.

Sasuke is the other person that is with the fire demon. A rival of Naruto, he is a top ninja of Konoha Village and a boy genius in the art of ninjutsu, which tends to rile up the blond haired boy. Both are well versed in the use of the katana (who isn't here, lol?) and currently are scoping out the edge of the evil cloud for enemy activity.

"Hmm. So far, things seem quiet." Sasuke said, as they sat on the edge of a roof.

"True. But it is merely the calm before the storm." His comrade replied.

"Right." The two sat and watched a few people move rather quickly. Suddenly, they sensed dark energy nearby.

"You sense that?"
"Yes. Hey, look."

A small group of orphans (5) started running. There seems to be a pack of hungry demons chasing them, hunting them down in order to tear them apart and eat their insides...

The thundering of a helicopter's rotors sounded over the horizion, coming up fast behind the pursuing demons. The craft was a heavily modified Blackhawk helicopter, sporting a side-mounted Vulcan 7.62mm gattling cannon, a 20mm nose cannon, and a set of four rocket pods, two under a short wing on each side.

The chopper swooped low, the gunner raking the demons with gunfire, letting off a 'yee-haw' as he did so...

"Tex to Hercules, targets are down..."

"Hercules to Tex, nice shootin'... keep an' eye out for more..."

The lead commando, callsign Hercules, made a series of handsignals to the pilot telling him to come in lower...

"Hercules to Posterboy and Millstone, hook up & prepare to retrieve hostages..."

A movie-star looking man with a curly black ponytail and a powerfully-built black man hook rappel lines to the chopper's floor hooks, and step out onto the wings of the Blackhawk. The pair drop down, scooping up a pair of orphans with each pass. With all of the kids inside, the Blackhawk circled around and headed towards the CW military base, where it would land and the RDMA SpecOps team would disembark...

OOC: I got WA's TG. Dekker's on the Blackhawk, I'll explain the callsigns later.

Whiptail nods as the thunderous song of rotor blades roars past the temple on its way to a landing pad...

"I believe that he has arrived..."

{Everyone gathers back into the hall to continue the briefing}

Keiji: Ok...Let's get back to business...

{Keiji again signals to the man at the back of the room, who then changes the image on the screen to a detailed diagram of the RD stronghold, paying very close attention to the dark ki shroud}

Keiji: From afar, the dark ki shroud looks like it is not a physical barrier...but I am sorry to tell you that conventional attacks will not work from the outside...This supports my plan to lure their troops out...But the big question, now, is how to get past the barrier and into the stronghold...General Ambrose can fill you in on how we may be able to tackle this barrier...

{Keiji leaves the podium and General Ambrose walks up as several more images appear besides the diagram of the RD stronghold}

Ambrose: As you already know, only a person with light ki energy can see through the barrier...And we now know that only beings that has and can control a massive amount of light ki can pass through the barrier...Some of the more powerful Jedi are one example.

{One of the images besides the diagram of the RD stronghold enlarges and encompasses the entire screen. The image shows a diagram showing a small group of people walking through a part of the barrier through what appears to be a man sized hole in the barrier}

Ambrose: This diagram shows that several people, with lots of light ki, working together can possibly open a small gap in the barrier for a limited amount of time to allow people without a lot of light ki to pass through the barrier...It is not possible to allow a ful scale army to pass through this barrier until we eliminate the source of the dark shroud...

{Amborse takes a sip of water from the cup that was on the podium}

Ambrose: From our calculations, the only time we can try to attack the stronghold is...unfortunately...tomorrow...

{The silence inside the hall was interrupted by a mass amount of whispering in the audience}

Ambrose: Ahem...Gentlemen...

{Ambrose waits several seconds for conversing to stop until continuing}

Ambrose: The reason why we must attack tomorrow is that the shroud will keep growing at its increasingly growing pace, it will engulf a large portion of CW that it will be atleast 30-40 miles away from our current position...I beg you not to ask me how they are doing this...Your answer will come at the end of this campaign once we defeat the RD. What we need right now are several volunteers from each of your countries with strong spiritual light ki energies to help create an attack fireteam that will infiltrate the stronghold and disable the dark shroud and allow the entirety of our forces to attack the stronghold enmasse...Right now...I will step down from the podium and allow you to talk about who your candidates be...You have about until 12:00 hours...By then we need your candidates to assemble at -Noir-'s mobile CP outside in the courtyard...Once gathered, we will have to perform some tests to see if they have enought light ki to be able to join the fireteam...

{Ambrose walks off the stage}

OOC: I am going to post the somethings going on in the RD stronghold...

{Inside one of the dark dungeons deep inside of the RD stronghold. Mireille is lying on a mat of straw. She appears to have gone through a tough time in the hands of her captives, she had been interrorgated and brutally tortured a multitude of times, but after each time, her captives erased her memory so she had no knowledge of what she did say to them. Her gown from the wedding reception was in rags and the straps that held the gown up had been crudely kept together by several knots and pieces of duct tape. Mireille manages to stand up, but then collapses since she had very little energy left in her body and that her leg was chained to the wall and was not long enough to reach the tray of food that a guard had just slid through a small opening in the door}

Mireille: Ow ow owww...Do you think you can slide that tray in farther next time!!!

{The guard walks back towards the door to respond to Mireille's yell}

Guard: You better feel grateful that I even decided to give you food...Maybe next time, I might just forget to even give you the food...

{The guard walks away laughing. Mireille starts crying silently since she had barely eaten for the past few days.}

Mireille: Please...Keiji...Somebody...Please find me...

{Mireille collapses from lack of energy. While this was happening, a small meeting, inside a room in the RD stronghold, was going on between the head RD scientist and RD military leaders was going on}

Scientist: The girl's light ki is draining away very nicely.

Military leader: Yes...Then we can continue with the master's plan...

Scientist: She won't last very long...But it is a miracle that she has even lasted this long...Through all that interrorgations and torturing...

Military leader: The master did say that both she and the boy had some special powers that could be a huge threat to our organization...

Scientist: But for some reason...Our tests do not show any apparent powers in her...

Military leader: Maybe partly because the powers they have are very rare...But also very powerful...Maybe that is why it wouldn't show on our tests...

{Then two other scientists come into the room}

Scientist 1: Sir, we need you at the lab right now for the next test on the girl.

Scientist 2: We also need you to adjust a machine in laboratory 3.

Scientist: I will be down in a few seconds...

{The two other scientists leave, while the head RD scientist turns around and faces the man who he was talking to}

Scientist: As you can see, I am needed downstairs...I will try to talk to you later today...

{The scientist walks out the door, followed by the military leader who walks off in another direction}

BUMP!!!

A transport helicopter flew over the mansion.
On the back were the surefire symbols T.S.O. Techon Special Ops.
Out hopped ten black suited Spec. Ops, and then behind them walked five Sages, of the great temples of Maladirii, which are located in Techon. Also out walked Jebideth, Barrin, and a man in black robes, with a big cloak over his head.

[OOC: I want to be a bad guy as well. Mainly because I brought the Maladirii into this.]

The Xan mothership exited hyperspace of the planet below. Mainly it was over CW. The ship itself was red, and was star shaped. It was about 1 km long, by 1 km wide.
Onboard were a total of 800 Xan warriors. This ship meant buisness, but it was a dwarf compared to what else exited hyperspace.
Along with nine other motherships, a Xan World Class ship came out. It was gold, and shaped like a pyramid. From the bottom to the point it was about 9 km. From one side to the other at the bottom it was about 4 km. wide.
At the very tip of the World Class ship, sitting on top a throne, was the leader of the Xan himself. His name was Anu'Sul, no living being other than a Xan have seen him and lived.

Hati'kah

(The Hati'kah is the World Ship in the Xan fleet present at the NS world. The word Hati'kah means Death on Humans. For the Xan had once been the most powerful race throughout our galaxy and theirs, untill a organization known as the G.O.E (Guardians of Earth) appeared on earth, and with much much talent, and luck, had managed to reclaim independence of several planets from the Xan, along with killing many Xan.)

A Xan warrior, dressed in the normal Xan armour walked into Anu'Sul's command room.
"Sire," The xan said in their native language (Which is like an ancient Egyptian language)
A voice responded, the voice was one of the deepest bass voices that any will ever hear. It was not that of a brute, but the deep voice of a thinker, an evil minded thinker. "Yes?"
"We have arrived," The warrior said.
"I see," Anu'Sul answered, looking out his transparisteel viewscreen.
The Xan warrior remained silent for a little bit, then Anu'Sul stood up. He was dressed completely in black robes. Only his hands and face were visible, though many wished they weren't.

(Xan are actually a form of energy, not from our galaxy. They came to ours for conquest. Anyways, the Xan had a weakness here though, they couldn't survive in their energy form. Conditions weren't right, so they had to construct exo-skeletons. A Xan outside of one looks like a floating glowing blue fog, about the size of a human head. Inside their exoskeletons they appeared to be a human though. Becuase that is what the exoskeletons look like. If the exoskeleton dies, so does the Xan. The xan also controls every speech, and movement of the exoskeleton.
Some Xan though, have the ability to lvie inside a human's body, like a parisite. They control the human just like they would the exoskeleton. JNo one knows the secret behind AnuSul's past but he can take over human's bodies, and one time he was stuck in one when something terrible happened.)

Anu'Sul stood up, as I said. His hands were black, not black like an Africans, but actually the color black. His hands were human looking, with four fingers and a thumb each.
His face though, underneath the hood, was different. Inside the hood was a black, 'puddle' of some liquid, it looked like the hood was a bowl, filled with gasoline. The face even had ripples running through it everyonce in a while. If you hadn't guessed already, there are no facial features on his face.
"I will go down to meet this demon lord myself, for I have spoken with him before, I will bring down a select caste of elite warriors, so wait to send more down on my mark." Anu'Sul said, and walked out of the room.

[OOC: I know, I really haven't mentioned him before, but just go along with it. Please, let him be important and respected among the RD guys, because he deserves it.]

"Well, well. Looks like we didn't have to fight them demons after all." Sasuke smirked as the Blackhawk flew off.

"Hmph. Show offs." Hiei said. "I could have done better."

"Really?" Sarcasm edged the ninjas voice. "Perhaps the next time we see demons, you could show me."

As Hiei sent a cold look that didn't faze Sasuke, the two resumed their search for demons.

In the dark corners of the Jedi Temple...
Master Elendil walked into a little-used room. The elf turned on a single light source, and the room revealed it's contents. Rows upon rows of crystals sat upon shelves. These crystals are called Holocrons, and they contain the very essence of the ancient Jedi of long-gone ages. The elven Jedi Master searched through the crystals with the Force for the right one. After twenty minutes, success was achieved. The holocron of Master Yoda was found. As he touched it and placed it on a podium, a hologram of the wizened Master appeared.
"Honored Master." Master Elendil bowed and whispered. "We seek your aid and advice."
"Mmm. The Dark Side grows. Tell me, of this growing darkness."
"Master, it is a cloud of dark energies, concieved by evil means. Demonic creatures and ninjas have captured many young ones, perhaps for sacrifice. What must we do to stop this?"
"Hmm. Heard of this, I have, for a long time. An evil being, calling himself the Demon Lord, there is. Very powerful, and very dark. The embodiment of the Dark Side, it is. Only one way to defeat this being, there is. A prophecy I give you:
A cloud of Darkness shall be raised up, and devour many. Many will seek to destroy it, but only two have the power to defeat the Cloud. The two must find their true powers, in order to defeat the Cloud, and the Demon within. They will know when to awaken their powers, when the time is right."
"Master, how will I know who are the two chosen to defeat this evil?"
"Hmm. Seek them, you will, by the meaning of the names. 'Heaven and Earth' and 'cautious leader' are the clues."
Who could have such names? Armas wondered. and where can we find them? "Thank you for the advice, Master."
"Then, May the Force be with You."
"And with you, Master." The holocron switched off, and Master Elendil walked out of the Holocron Room, wondering where to start.

All right. I might have to counter the starships with my own, to have a space battle as well as a ground battle. Oooo boy! The rush of excitement of a major battle against darkness!

The Spec. Ops, Barrin, Jebideth, the cloaked man, and the Sages walked into the dining hall, where everyone else was.
"Barrin, Jebideth?" Imitus asked in question as he stood up.
"Yes, and someone else," Barrin said smiling.
The cloaked man removed his hood, and there before them, was the former emperor, Imitus V.
"Father?" Imitus VI asked, a tear swelling up in his eye.
"Yes son, it is me," Imitus Senior said.
"He recovered miraculously," Jebideth said. "-Noir's- doctors have been sent back. I don't think this feat would have been accomplished with out them."
"I cannot believe this." Imitus jr said.
"Now my son, do not cry this is a happy event, even in these ark times," Imitus sr said.
"Oh course," Imitus jr. said, reclaiming his dignity and pride. "Have a seat all of..." He saw the Sages standing in the doorway, and came at a loss of words.

(One thing to let you know, the Maladirii is a ancient ki practice in Techon. These sages are the masters of it. Also, a note, the sages eyes glow blue.)

"Yes, the sages came with us," Imitus said.
One Sage stepped out from the rest. "My name is Malachi, the leader of the sages. I am honored in your presence Master Imitus VI."

(Also, another note, Malachi is respected among all of Techon, so give him respect as well. He is very powerful.)


RD Base
The shuttle had just been unboarded. And the eleven Xan walked away from it. The Xan were Anu'Sul, and his ten elite guard warriors. They were like normal elite, but their armour is red, instead of gray.

(Elite Xan armour is basically the same as regular, but let me explain. The armour of Xan is gray metal, they have on underneath it all, gray clothes, then overtop that a mail mesh. Overtop that are a assortment of heavier stuff, breast plate, arm guards, guantlets, also from their wast down is covered in heavy armour. They don't have helmets, except elite, and master warriors. The master warriors have bronze aromour, and a helmet that fits the back of their head perfectly. The elite have a giant helmet, that covers their entire head. It is twice the size of a human head, and it is shaped like a panther. They are able to move the helmet around like they would their own head, but the mouth doens't move. The eye holes, which are about where the top of their head is, is connected to their eyes by cords, which attatch themselves, but don't hurt a bit. The eye holes glow blue, or red.)

The eleven Xan made their way through the base, when the reached the portal to the demon, Anu'Sul bowed onto his knees and said.
"Demon Lord, it is I Anu'Sul, leader of your allies the Xan, I come here to assist you in this war. I will have my men do all they can to aid you."

The Demon Lord senses allies coming near. He manipulates his true form into a more humanoid shape, becoming a man of pure evil wearing black clothes and a cape. You think Dracula was evil? The Demon Lord of many names (Balizar is his current name) makes him look like a whiny child.

The Lord oversees the creation of many evil creatures for the war to begin. Most of them are well known from Middle Earth: Orcs, Wargs (demon wolves), trolls, giants, oliphants, even Nazgul and the dragon-like creatures they ride, among other creatures. There are also demons created to counter the fighters and tanks, like Buzzers and Behemoths (fireball spitting rhinos).

"Sire," an orc said. "The Xans wish to send their soldiers here, and to ally with us."
"Good. Have them land in the plains in front of the temple."
"As you wish."
The Dark Lord laughed slightly. "Soon, the nations of the world will be mine. Their president here will make a most wonderful meal. I can almost taste the blood that I will drink."
He tilted back his head and laughed, a long, evil laugh. Then, with his dark powers, he made the cloud grow even bigger, slowly getting closer to the capital. If the capital falls, the nation of Coreworlds as we know it is finished.

The Demon Lord stood before the Xans. "Thank you, my allies. The time will come soon when we will destroy the Men. Not yet, though, as I have an army to build."
He spread his arm to show the Xan the armies being created by dark magics.

"Send down the soldiers," Anu'Sul said.
From the motherships 700 frigates went down through the atmosphere, with 200 Xan soldiers on each, 5 of the two hundred frigates were full of Xan elite.
They all rallied in the plains, the army rallied, 139,000 Xan soldiers, and 100,00 Xan elite.
They marched in large groups, and from a hill Anu'SUl watched them. He overlooked the entire plain, which spread for miles. The big frigates would land, Xan would get off, and the frigates would take back off. The sight would astound many, but he wasn't one to be suprised.
Xan every here and there would chant war chants, loud voices bellowing throughout the area. Each Xan had a power staff. It was about seven feet long, with a oval end on one tip, and a triangle on the other, with the triangle tip being inside the staff. They were used for both melee, and ranged. They could be powered up on the oval end to deliver electrical attacks to enemies, killing most if hit int he head, or chest. They were used for ranged by the oval end as well, the Xan pointed the end, put their finger on the 'trigger' a smooth rubbery spot underneath a protective outcrop, they would press on the 'trigger' and a laser bolt would come out of the oval end.
Ten more frigates came down afterwards, they unloaded cannon like staffs, which had wheels for suport. The cannons could fire, and the blast would be twenty times bigger than a staff's blast. Also tanks were unloaded. They floated over the ground, and had one big cannon on the top, as well as stationed staffs along the sides, two on each side. The big cannon could create a blast three times as big as the regular cannons. There were a total of 200 tanks, and 3000 cannons.
"Sir, we are ready," A Xan aid said to Anu'Sul (Once again, this conversation is in native Xan).
"Good, wait untill the enemy shows up here, we will play defence unless told otherwise." Anu'Sul answered. "Mean while have five Deathbringers make a few attack and runs on CoreWorld's capital.
"Aye sir!" The Xan said.

The Deathbringers soared overhead, they had the advantage, because untill just a few seconds ago they were cloaked.
The Deathbringers are the Xan's one man crafts. They are shaped like a arch, with the cockpit on the very top, the two points are at the bottom of the craft, and two medium cannons are lined up on each wing.
Also fortunatly for the Deathbringers, they weren't that far away from the Mansion.
(In native Xan) "Fire at the Mansion, bring it down!"
The three Deathbringers began to fire at the mansion, two cannons at a time, they knocked down a tree and a fountain in the front, and one Deathbringer obliterated the garden.
Then they went for the mansion itself, they fired, and six shots went and slammed intot he mansion, creating massive explosions.

Defense Department to Firestorm Battle Group, somewhere in space:
Come to Sol, posthaste! We are receiving reports of spacecraft, and need some heavy firepower to help out!

X-wings rose into the air, and started targeting the Deathbringers. Red laser bolts spat at them, hoping to bring them down.

"SIR!" Mike shouted. "Enemy craft!"
I sensed them. "Shoot them down!"

Laser cannons and Vulcan cannons on the roof of the mansion started firing, but even so, a few missiles slammed into the mansion.

Luckily, we were deep inside it, but not so lucky were some of the guards.

"Great. It has begun." I said, quietly.

OOC: can we use time travel? i doubt we can...its cheating...but can we?

[OOC: I might be a little confused, but the Deathbringers fire lasers, not missiles]

RD Base
"Sire," A aide said running up to Anu'Sul.
"What is it?" He asked.
"It appears that the Deathbringers are being surrounded."
"Send in twenty more," He answered, his voice as cold as death itself.
"Aye sire," The aide replied and ran off.
Soon afterward twenty more Deathbringers took off from the motherships, and headed for the capital.


CW Capital
The Deathgliders did their best to dodge enemy fire.
One was hit, his shields shining red.
"Two, three you go and take out the fighters," One said. "I will keep attacking this mansion."
He turned the Deathglider around as the other two pulled away, he began the second barage, hitting thr front doors, obliterating them. He continued on and shot some more, destroying several of the third story rooms.

The other two headed straight for the enemy fighters, immediately they began to fire into the host of X-Wings.
"This is I'Klin, ninteen other Deathgliders and I are coming to your aid."

"Keiji, I have something to give you." As rumblings went on, I went to a weapons closet and unlocked it. I pulled out a katana, forged by the best swordsmiths in the world: the Elves. "This is for you."

Both Imitus's passed the tests that they took quickly. They and the five Sages would be going as part of the Strike force. The Sages really didn't need any testing, for if you stood within a mile of them you could sense their good ki clearly.

OOC: Sorry, no time travel allowed. That's the future tech where I draw the line. Oh, laser damage then. I knew I should have put a shield generator on my mansion!

IC: Commander Isaac Cheger of the White Tigers X-wing squadron gritted his teeth in determination as the Deathbringers brought down one of his comrades. The mansion was damaged, and he hoped the people in them survived. He rose, and then dived, finding a Deathbringer in his sights, and pulled the trigger. Red bolts of laser energy shot out at the enemy fighter.

Meanwhile, the F/A-18 squadron Bald Eagles rose, too, in order to help out any way they can, despite the enemy being spacecraft.

The Firestorm contacted other fleets, and jumped into hyperspace at flank speed. 10 minutes until they arrive.

Wonder if I should bring in Rogue Squadron too...

Two swerved out of the way from more laser fire. He knew he couldn't take on these fighters alone. He looked and saw the Bald Eagles, then from above he saw them showered with laser fire from the other twenty ships.

Number one continued to shoot at the mansion, he had managed to do much damage, evn though ye took his fare share of attacks. He knew he wouldn't last that long, but this mission was supposed to be almost suicidal.

Jack turned a corner, looking for the President. He ran down a hallway, and right behind him the wall exploded from a laser.
He was blasted off his feet. He soon got up, and ran to the more secure areas, he saw the president finally.
"Are you alright?" He asked.

Meanwhile, three F/A-18s went down in firey explosions before the others managed to break and lock missiles on the enemy. the missiles were loosed at the enemy...

In addition, my father replied to my E-mail. "Son, the Jedi are preparing to help breach the shroud. Master Elendil has found an ancient prophecy concerning this whole affair, by the way." *sends an attachment titled Prophecy* "I hope that you might be able to solve this puzzle. Be careful, and May the Force be with You."

[OOC: But there are twenty two deathgliders, and can't Keji call them fighters, and not flying things? Plus that was godmodding.]

"There are six more guys down," Someone said.
"Not good," I'klin answered.
All the deathgliders turned back to the Mansion, they targeted the area where the gliders were shot from (where john, and keji are), they all opened fire, the bolt completely smashed the ceiling, knocking it down.

After the Deathgliders had launched all they had at the spot where Keji and John were, they turned around and retreated, only sixteen of the twenty remained, and as they were retreating missiles slammed into three more of them, only thirteen made it back to the fleet in space.

RD Base
"Well? How did the assualt go?" Anu'Sul asked.
"It appears that ten were destroyed," The aide repleid.
"Of how many?"
"Twenty three," The aide said.
"This is good then," Anu'Sul said happily, if you can imagine this deep bassed voice being happy. "This means that we have superior fighters to thiers."

OOC: not really godmodding...if the enemies have that dark shroud you can claim that that is also godmodding since non of us can attack it

Meanwhile, Sasuke and Hiei spotted another pack of demons, and not hesitating, pounced upon them, and killed them before they could make for anyone else.

Meanwhile, several hours passed before the first of the New Republic ships arrived, the starfighters and light corvettes. Ship after ship popped out of hyperspace, and any sensors worth their credits could see that they're massing at Mars. Then came the larger ships, Nebulon-Bs, strike cruisers, dreadnoughts, a few Victories and finally the Star Cruisers and the Star Destroyer Rebel Dream.

Tol'Karbin watched, the Deathbringers were all ready, along with the frigates. It was just a matter of time before the enemy made their move.

The sun has set. The Demon Lord now prepares to attack. He flies to the top of the temple, and begins to circle his hand above his head, drawing the cloud with his powers. The cloud becomes a spiral, and a gust begins to blow. His powers cause stars to be blotted out, as other clouds cover them, even outside the dark ki cloud. The winds begin affecting even far away towns, as trees sway menacingly.

"Now, for my first attack, I shall send the Nosferatu!" Balathar said coldly. "That should soften them up before my main attack."
He chanted up a spell, and from coffins in the nearest cemetary (about 1 mile away), a change occured in the dead, as they grew fangs, claws and vampiric powers. The crawled out of the coffins and six feet of dirt, and started for towns that have not been evacuated. The Night of the Vampires has begun! This ain't Halloween, but it sure feels like it!

"Hmm. Dinner should be ready soon. We're ordering pizza since the kitchen has been knocked out by the attempted bombing." I said. Suddenly, and odd feeling came over me. "Hmm. I sense something interesting..."

Meanwhile, the vampires attacked several towns, drinking blood and starting a reign of terror. They would have been more in numbers, but for the fact that Sasuke and Hiei did their best to kill the undead. They need reinforcements though, as they can't handle all the vampires themselves.

In the darkness of the night, reptilian shapes began moving on the ground, growling and snarling, with an unusual click-click sound, like bone striking against the concrete. When the shapes met vampires, they struck, with high-pitched shrieking and roaring. These unknown allies were good in dealing with the vampires, but who are they, and what is their agenda?

A little child saw one of the shapes, almost appearing in the lights. It was about 10 feet long, and 8 feet tall, weighing in about 275 pounds. A bipedial (two leg) walker, it had a stiff tail, used for balance when running fast. Each foot had a sickle-shaped claw used for tearing up prey, for a powerful predator it is. It had stripes like that of a tiger, useful when in the shadows. It's S-shaped neck can snap the head forward to bite with it's sharp teeth. And last but not least, it is one of the smartest predators around, able to actually learn things.

"Mommy, there's a funny creature in there." The child pointed, but when his parents looked, the creature moved with a catlike grace back into the shadows. To the child, the creature was familiar, very familiar...

Aun'el Bor'Kan Kais Kauyon felt the Manta shift beneath him as Kor'Vre Y'Eldi sent the Tau'N Skether'Qan Kauyon down towards CoreWorlds. Behind him, his team of Shas'la checked their weapons thoroughly, their Shas'ui leading the team through final briefing of their mission.

The eight Fire Warriors carried pulse carbines, and the Shas'ui carried a Ta'lissera on his belt. The warriors had seen far too much combat on their homeworld, and in the wars of expansion. Now they were tasked with protecting one of the Ethereals during his mission to aid the Jedi against this new unforseen threat.

The Kauyon sped down through the atmosphere, sweeping low over Core City, and finally touching down gently on the ground. The warriors descended the ramp out of the scout ship, and formed an honour guard as the Aun'el gathered up his honour blade, and stepped out into the sun light for the first time since his voyage began, many warp dives and two rotaa before hand.

The evil Demon Lord smiles. His vampires were merely a diversion, anyway. Now, he is ready to begin the main assault.
In the temple, the sorcerers finish up the final stages of war making. As they put the final spell in place, energy surges from the temple, and a black wave of energy explodes from the top of the temple, then strikes down on the nearest city, Selonia, about 30 miles northwest of the black cloud. First, the energy creates a massive shockwave, destroying buildings and crushing vehicles.
The black shockwave then pulls everything within five miles into oblivion, killing thousands of people as the shockwave creates a portal into a nether world, where it is pure darkness and nothing living can survive long. What was left of the city was now a desert.
The only weakness is that it takes an obscene amount of time to recharge, over a day.

Anyone who is Force sensitive or have other light ki could sense the death and destruction caused by this terrible use of dark powers. I could only stare in horror as I sensed the screams of a million dying citizens. This is...we can't let them do this again! It is time...

"My friends, we cannot delay any longer. Every second, the Darkness grows more powerful in strength. We must stop this evil and fast!" I looked at everyone around me. "You have all seen and perhaps felt what has just happened. We must begin the battle, now! Yusuke, the entire military is at Defcon 1! Rally the forces outside of the capital!"
"Right!" He called the Chairman, who in wartime is the Supreme Commander, and sent the order.
"Everyone else, it's time to go." I said. "Are you with me?"

Since half of the team were Vampire and the other half being human/vampire hybrids they would descend under cover of darkness, and it would add to there concealment...each man was armed with a variety of weapons from crossbows to rocket-launchers to nothing but there magic spells...As for Sigaro, he looked no different with the exeption of extra ammo for his handgun. He would rely mostly on his magic for this mission...bullets would do very little against such evil. They had do descend slowly since they were coming from such an altitude (the flying nation in the sky) it would be fatal to drop too fast. when they finally reached there destination they felt jolts and and clawing at the side of there vehicle when the finally hit the ground all was silent as the ramp dropped they filed out...Sigaro first, directing a blast of flame from his hand at a shadowed creature, who had leapt from there ship, obliverating it on contact...he knew there would be more so he decided to take refuge in a darkened wood to asses the situation of what was happening and to send out scouts...

The Army began assembling outside of the capital, along with the allies. Tanks, artillery, helicopters, infantry and more were ready to move out at a moment's notice. Air bases all over the nation sent fighters into the air, and waited for the signal.

General Solomon conferred with his subordinates before sending a message to me. "Sir, we're ready to strike once you give us the word."

I merely looked out of the window to the night lit up by numerous lights. How many more will die before this demon invasion is stopped? If there was some other way we could prevent them from happening, I would take it. Now, we must all do what we can to protect the innocent.

It was the MRLS, artillery and fighter/bombers that began the strike, loosing missiles, shells and laser shots at the dark cloud. The ammo exploded against the cloud like they impacted against a shield, which the cloud basically is.

In space, the order to begin the attack reached the fleet that massed at Mars. The smaller fighters, gunships and corvettes were followed by the slower and larger craft. Powerful jammers were placed upon the enemy, and then a massive volley of turbolasers and ion cannons lanced out at the enemy fleet, while fighters mostly stayed on the defensive to protected the Cruisers and Destroyers from enemy fighters.

The Xan fleet was at the ready, ten motherships, and a World ship waited for the enemy to reach them, the Deathbringers, and frigates moving towards the front.
Little did the CW fleet know they were going right into an ambush, the other World ship, aling with the other twenty motherships were waiting for the order, upon which they would jump into hyperspace, and ambush from behind.

On Earth
"Ready the troops!" A commander yelled.
Soldiers got into tanks, others went to cannons, and the rest made thier way into a massive army, rows upon rows of warriors, filling up almost the entire plain, ready for a battle. Anu'Sul wathced from a tower in the RD base, proud of his plan.

Once they got within weapons range, the combined Coreworlds and New Republic fleet opened fire, raining dozens of green and red turbolasers upon the enemy. The fighters and Frigates were ordered to go after the Deathbringers and oppsoing small ships, and then, the battle was joined.

OOC: Remember, there's jamming.

"Sire," A tech said to Tol'Karbin. "We are being jammed."
"Send them the virus," He ordered.
The Hat'chika virus, it would almost completely kill all power to anyship that was in anyway connected to them, wether it be by communicationg by transmission, or anything, any data stream floating from one ship to the other could be dispruted, and it could carry the virus.

In the heat of the battle a squads of Deathbringers dodged laser after laser, but some became victom to them.
The Motherships, and the World Ship fired their turbo cannons as well, the shots flying thrught the void of space towards the enemy.

"Fire the tel'naya beam!" A officer ordered.
A tel'naya beam was a deadly beam, it either went through, or completely ignored shields, and it could cut clean through a ship usually, any small ship caught within ten feet of the beam was toast.
The purple beam was fired, and it soared towards a New Republic ship.

"My Lord, the humans are attacking." a ninja stood before the Demon Lord.

"Very well. Begin the assault."

"As you wish."

From the dark ki cloud, and aiding the Xan ground forces, the Red Dragons sent their armies for the capital. From powerful red dragons and Nazgul, to behemoths that spit fireballs, to giants, orcs and demons that make up the ground forces, over a million strong. They had various weapons, from swords and other melee weapons to guns that shoot poisoned bullets and there are those with magic. Ninjas were at the forefront of the army, as scouts and advance troops, ready to hamper allied efforts.

The Xan forces charged, running at full speed (60 mph) their staves pointed at the ready, when the enemy got into sight, they began to fire, thousands upon thousands of red energy bolts soared towards the opposing force, meanwhile tanks, and cannons fired away into the middle of the CW/Noir army.

The Republic cruiser Dependable took the assault of the purple beam full-on and blew up spectacularly. Not since the Battle of Endor has a ship been so mercilessly destroyed in one shot. The turbocannon shots were mostly deflected by the shields, until the virus attacked several ships. Then, it was all the Cruisers and Destroyers could do to try and avoid the shots, though slow the ships were, until the computer slicers (hackers) could counteract the virus.
It was becoming a desperate battle, even as the numbers weakened.

{The Crusader Battalions keep shelling the enemies coming out of the Dark Shroud, while several SEAL Teams in medium range of the Dark Shroud eliminate any demon that is able to avoid the shelling. But unknown to both the SEALs and Crusaders, is that almost two-fold more enemy demons are finding their way to the opposite side of the stronghold and exiting there, way from the shelling}

The demons die by the dozen, but more keep coming to replace them, and the first wave begins to assault the friendly troops.

Helicopters and jet fighters dueled the dragons, causing heavy casualties on both sides.

Machine gun and blaster weaponry fired upon the demons and orcs, and their weapons fired in return, as beams of deadly magic, fireballs and bullets filled the air.

As the orcs and demons reached the first of the line of allied forces, the infantry started mowing them down, and then melee combat broke out, as the troops tried to hold the line against the enemy.

Space
The Xan appeared to be winning. They had knocked out several of the New Republic's shields.
"Signal in the other fleet!" Tol'Karbin shouted.
"Aye sir," A tech said.
It would be another half an hour before the other fleet arrived.

Earth
"Sir, it appears that the Xan are winning in space!" A tech shouted.
"Signal the Vindar, maybe they can help," An officer ordered.
The Techon military had sent in 1000 troops, all they could spare due to the Nella wars. The Vindar were an ancient race known for bio-engeneering. They had created a mass number of races, including several human branches on other planets. They appear to be the only ones that are more advanced than the Xan.

It was all the New Republic could do to keep fighting, until the slicers managed to counteract the virus. When the virus stopped working, the remaining ships put up their shields, and called for reinforcements. The cavalry is soon to arrive!

"They're hooking up with the Jedi, I think. The 2500 and more are probably going to reinforce them, seeing as there's not all that many."

{Keiji continues to work on his pistol, as the Stryker along with its passengers continue towards the edge of the Dark Shroud}

As we raced across the now desertlike landscape, the Jedi Knights and Shinobi arrived at the battlefield on various vehicles: from helicopters to cars and motorcycles and even a few horses.
They attacked the northern flank of the demonic army, slashing their way through the demons and orcs with lightsabers and katanas flashing. With their speed and various spells/Force powers, the Jedi and Shinobi helped the regular army as much as they could, keeping the prying eyes of the enemy away from us, and towards the fighting.

Meanwhile, the Dark Shroud, up close, is a rolling mass of darkness. Lightning flashes can be seen, as we get closer, and closer...

The three Sages sat in the stryker silently, their blue eyes glowing, shining like little spotlights on the others. Imitus V was shining his Katana, and Imitus VI gave the fang guy a glance, then ignored him, continuing to work on shining his Katana as well.

Battle Field
The Xan troops were in hand to hand combat now, they swung their staffs like mad, knocking several troops back. The Techon troops fired their guns, and it appeared for the minute that Techon was winning.
A group of three Starheads flew over head, they saw the Xan tanks, and dived down at them, missiles blazing away.


Space
The new republic fleet, and the CW fleet was outnumbered. The Xan had ambushed them, and there were to many. Then another white flash came, and soon another fleet was there, not the Xan, but the gold ships of the Vindar.
White, and teal beams streaked across the void, and smacked into the Xan motherships, and fighters lef their hangars. the tides had turned.

hmm stealth...i like it, *Sigaro cracks his knukles through his fingerless gloves* well since we seem to have similar goals and enemy...i am yours to command....unless my personal mission should get in the way...in which case my former mission must take presedent...are we agreed?

Tol'karbin had pulled out a staff, and shot the soldier's head off, sparks, and wirea extended from the necks, and the decapitated head, along with blue fluid.

"Sire!" An aide said to Anu'Sul.
"Yes?" He asked, his deep bass voice rumbling through the chamber.
"The Vindar have arrived, it appears that our fleet is being decimated," The aide said shakily.
"Then we shall leave," Anu'Sul said.
"Sire?" The aide asked.
"You heard me, we leave now, these demons are doomed to die!" Anu'Sul exclaimed, his black oil face rippling. He walked off, heading for his shuttle. "Recall the troops, we will get as many as we can out of here."

Battlefield
The Xan soldiers recieved their call. Everyone of them, except the ten frontmost lines retreated. Running at full speed to the landing zone. The frigates were all there, waiting. Tanks and cannons were rushed aboard, and many ships were bombed by Starheads flying overhead.
A last team of twenty Deathbringers were sent down to keep the CW, and Techon forces off their backs. The ships flew over the armies, shooting down into them.
After two hours everything was packed up, all ships took off. Ten of the twenty deathbringers were destroyed. There was enough room for almost everyone, and those who were left behind fought to the death. As the Xan fleet flew overhead, a shuttle was seen taking off from the RD base, flying into the night sky.

Space
The retreating frigates took heavy losses, Vindar ships diverted from the main battle and attacked the ships, destroying many. The rest boarded onto motherships, or World Ships, including Anu'Sul. The motherships recalled all fighters, and the ninteen remaining motherships retreated into hyperspace. Along with one of the two World ships. The second one watied behind, a trap was set.
Vindar ships swarmed it, almost 90% orf the fleet started to attack the massive ship. Then it let out a static burst. Electric swarmed from the top of the ship, and ju,ped from each nearby Vindar ship, after a five second wait the Cruisers, Frigates, and Carriers were exploding left and right, it only took one second for the little ships to go.
Even just this one world ship was a threat to be reconded with. It turned the large end towards the Earth, ready to fire, ready to end all life that was down upon it.

Electric swarmed from the top of the ship, and ju,ped from each nearby Vindar ship, after a five second wait the Cruisers, Frigates, and Carriers were exploding left and right, it only took one second for the little ships to go.
Even just this one world ship was a threat to be reconded with. It turned the large end towards the Earth, ready to fire, ready to end all life that was down upon it.

"What, that ship is preparing to fire?!" The admiral cried.
"It seems so, sir! Detecting rising energy signatures!"
"Well, what are you waiting for? Take it out! Concentrate firepower upon that giant ship! Watch for that ion cannon thing!"

The remaining fleet of the combined CW and NR ships fired all weapons upon the worldship, raining hundreds of turbolaser and ion cannon bolts as well as proton torpedoes and concussion missiles on the giant ship. The crew held their breath, hoping that the combined firepower would do the trick.

In the air and low orbit...
Y-wings and SFB-22 attacked Xan forces as they retreated, helped out by E-wings who fought to keep the Deathbringers off their backs.

On the ground...
The Stryker soon came to the edge of the Dark Shroud. The Shroud itself was a whirling mass of dust and dark energy. Normal people would be killed if they tried going through without protection, but those with high levels of light ki could go through with little trouble. A powerful gale buffeted the vehicle, as we got within ten klicks of the Shroud. A sudden lightning bolt struck the ground near us, throwing up a cloud of dirt.

"Well, we're very close to the Shroud now!" I shouted, over the howl of the stormy gale. "Should we disembark?"

"We are taking heavy fire!" A soldier yelled.
"Send out the Jejim (Zez-zim)," Tol'Karbin said.
Three techs turned three switches at the same time.

Outside the World Ship it appeared to the other fleets that it was engulfed in blue energy. There was a giant blue sphere extending from the World Ship, two Vindar Cruiser (Which are basically the same thing as a Star Destroyer, except they look different) were unfortunate to be caught in the shockwave, it passed them, and they decitegrated when the sphere hit them. The sphere extended towards the NR, and CW fleets.

Inside the World Ship power was still charging up, the gun was directly aimed at the CW capital. If it shot, the whole surface of the world would be engulfed in flame.

On Earth
The three Sages looked out the windows, and others in the car could hear them humming chants.

"Retreat! Microjump, now!" The admiral called out.
Starfighters and light capital ships managed to escape the sphere by jumping into hyperspace, then jumping back out a couple million miles away.
Three Neb-Bs were caught by the sphere and disintergrated. Then came a Star Destroyer, a Cruiser and a Victory SD, before the capitals were able to escape, too.
The fleet regrouped at Venus, and then the main fleet of the New Republic jumped in. From the Home One to the major starfighter squadrons of the galaxy, after the sphere distipated, the fleets attacked again.

I could sense something terrible about to happen...and the three sages chanted something...

"Power at maximum!" A tech said.
"How long untill we can fire?" Tol'Karbin asked.
"We got half an hour," The tech replied.
Anu'Sul appeared in the room, it was amazing, a black appeared, and out of it walked Anu'Sul.
"My lord," Tol'Karbin said, bowing down. "Your appearance suprises me, upon how did you get here?"
"You forget that I ascended," Anu'Sul said, his face riippling, and voice booming.
"Yes, of course, I am sorry milord." Tol'Karbin said "The fleet retreated, but they are coming back."
"What of the weapon?" Anu'Sul asked, walking along the hallway.
Following him Tol'Karbin said. "It will be another half an hour before we can fire it."
"Very well," Anu'Sul said, sitting in his throne. "Ready the fighters to attack the New Republic, and CoreWorld's fleet. The Vindar have not shone up again?"
"No sire," Tol'Karbin said.
"Good," Anu'Sul said. "Now, leave me."

Earth
The three sages continued to sing a hypnotic chant, and soon the stryker was filled with light. It was coming from Hitaro, the leader of the Sages. He seemed to just disapear in the middle of the light. Heading to who knows where.

The World Ship
Anu'Sul was not one for suprises, and he didn't even move at the sight of a Sage appearing before him.
"Ypu have lost the battle," The Sage said. "You will fall with all your soldiers here this day."
"I think not," Anu'Sul said.
Two guards unanounced, ran into the room, they didn't even have time to fire or speak before they were decentigrated by Hitaro.

<Incoming Encrypted transmission>
To: President Masaki, CoreWorlds
From: Aun'shi, Tau Empire

I have dispatched a full two combat fleets from the Kor'vattra. They should be arriving within the next half an hour to an area close to Venus. Should you require assistance, they will provide it.

**Reply to Tau Empire**
We will need all the help we can get. Be careful of that Worldship, for it is very dangerous.

Anu'Sul got out of his throne. He walked down the steps, and looked down at Hitaro.
"why have you come here?" He asked.
"To destroy you," Hitaro answered, not taking his gaze off Anu'Sul, but blinking constantly.
"Then you have failed already," Anu'Sul said, turning his back on his enemy. "I am to powerful for you."
"I am the leader of the highest branch of the Sages," Hitaro said proudly.
"That is not enough to impress me," Anu'Sul said, turning around on the steps again.
Then Hitaro stuck out his palms, and white light radiated out towards Anu'Sul, who stuck his hands out in defense. The light turned around, and flew right back at Hitaro, who was seeming;y decentigrated by it, and was carried away.

[OOC: There is a bigger story behind what happened to Hitaro, but it will come to play later.]

OOC: I hope this is ok. If not, then ignore it.

IC:
The combined New Republic fleet, with morale boosted by the arrival of Admiral Ackbar and Rogue Squadron, among other major starfighter squadrons, renew their attack on the Worldship.

"Fighter squadrons, aim for that main weapon! Take it out!" Thw amphibious admiral ordered, and the fighters made strafing runs upon the worldship's weapon, trying to keep it from shooting. The capital ships kept firing on the body of the worldship, hoping to find a weak spot.

[OOC: In a way it will be ignored, but not totally]

"Sire," An aide said rushing into the room.
"Yes?" Anu'Sul asked.
"The New Republic fleet is resuming their attack," Th aide said.
"Have the fleet come back in, we need to divert attention from the World Ship," Anu'Sul said.

Within ten minutes the fleet was back, attacking the NR fleet from the side.

OOC: Fair enough. Last post for the night.

IC:
Several Cruisers, frigates, gunships and fighter squadrons broke off to meet with the new threat, while the rest of the fleet continued attacking the worldship.

OOC: Is there a weakness I can seek out and exploit?

[OOC: There is a shaft towards the top, a group of fighters could enter it, and from there they would navigate their way down to the guns power core. When there they could destroy it, therefore causing the weapon to blow up, therefore completely labeling the World Ship useless, but the fighter squadron would have to make it past turrets, as well as Deathbringers that follow them. Oh by the way, the second World Ship did not come back with the fleet.]

OOC: Sounds very familiar...DSII, anyone?

IC:
Commander Harry Matthews struck down yet another Deathbringer and then dives to take potshots at enemy turrets. He then pushes his E-wing up over the top of the Worldship, when he noticed something...
A shaft of some sort! Dodging fire, he reported on the latest.
"This is Commander Matthews to fleet! Found a shaft of some kind, perhaps a way into the interior!"
"Very well. I want Red and Green to go in and find the power core or reactor, and take it out! We'll cover you, over!" Gavin ordered. The Rogues were too busy dealing with the Deathbringers, so it was up to the Core fighters to go in.
"Acknowledged!"
Red was a mixture of X-wings and E-wings and the Commander was the Red Leader. Green was an A-wing squadron.
Dodging enemy fire as best tthey could, the commander and three of each kind of fighter managed to get through to enter the power core. One of the A-wings was destroyed by the turrets, but the rest managed to dive into the shaft.

[OOC: Definately, I love Jedi, and Starwars. Oh was CW, the shaft thing, of course that is were it came from, can't have a major space battle with the Republic without having a shaft to go in, other than Star Wars: A new Hope, and the Yuuzhan Vong series.]


After seeing the ships enter the shaft four squadrons of seven Deathbringers each went into the shaft, chasing after the enemy ships.

Laser blasts shot past the fighters.
"Double the rear deflector shields!" Commander Matthews ordered. and the crew acknowledged by reinforcing the shields. Even so, a couple of the A-wings fell to the enemy laser fire.
Finally, the ships managed to reach the power core. There were what looks like four giant cooling rods glowing and in the very center was the core itself.
"Hmm. Take out the four rod things." Harry ordered Flight 2 and 3. "We'll cover you."
"Right away." The X-wings and E-wings than began firing their weapons at the rods, lasers and torpedoes together.
Meanwhile, the rest of Red and Green squadron fought off the Deathbringers as they came in after them.

(Too bad there ain't a lightsaber duel in the bridge. That would be the icing on the cake. Actually, the duel come later, between me and Lord Quortan, the Red Dragons leader and then it's me & Keiji vs the Demon Lord himself. Speaking of the Red Dragons...)

Nightfang prepares for the ground assault, removing his flail from his lower back & swinging it about for a few moments, practicing different attacks. The weapon looked much like a pair of sickles hooked together with a chain, then swung like nunchaku in combat...

"I am prepared, master."

A deepumble took place through the ship. Anu'Sul walked at a fast pace to the bridge.
"What happened!?" He bellowed.
"It appears that they took out a power rod!" A tech yelled.
"How did they get past the shields and turrets!?" Anu'Sul yelled, then a little voice whispered in his ear.
I did
He turned but saw no one.

The two Sages, and the two Imituss walked along with the president.

[OOC: Just to let you know, I may start up a new thread with a big battle in space against the Xan, and it will include a lightsaber duel on board a World Ship, when I make the thread I will post a link here. :D ]

Another power rod went down, as the fighters continued to shoot them. Each time the power rods go down, it gets a bit harder for the core to keep from creating a meltdown.

Commander Matthews attacks a power regulator, and then the reactor core itself.

"Let's get the hell out of here!" He ordered, as his instruments detect a rise in radiation and core temperature.

He and his squadron shoot up any Deathbringers that try and stop them, then fly up the shaft again.

"Sir, I'm detecting a rise in energy spikes from the Worldship." a crewman said.
"Let's fall back and watch the show. Recall the fighters!" The admiral ordered.
"Yes, sir!"

[OOC: I will create the thread tommorow, I created a new Matrix thread today...]
All the NR, and CW ships were away.
"Power is critical!" Tol'Karbin yelled.
"Stop from firing!" Anu'SUl bellowed.
"We can't sir!" A tech said. "It is to late!'
Anu'Sul let out a bellowing yell, that echoed throughout the ship. He waved his arm, and he disapeared.

Outside the ship all remaining motherships were retreating. They jumped into hyperspace, along with many frigates.
The ship started from the bottom, and went to the top. As if in layers of a cake layer by layer the WOrld SHip exploded, it slowly made its way up to the top.
"Use escapre pods!" Tol'Karbin yelled.
"Its to late we are..." The tech was cut off by the control room going up in flames.

After the explosiont he shockwave blew out as a brilliant blue ring. The Xan threat in this war was over.

"Woohoo!" the Commander whooped as he and his squadron escaped the shaft. "We won!"
"Yes, we did." The admiral replied. "But the ground battle is not over, I see."
The black shroud can easily be seen from space.

Dekker slapped a clip into his old M4 carbine, adjusting the aimpoint sight & checking the feed ram. In a few moments, hopefully the ground combat would start...

OOC: uh, the ground battle has already started. Check a couple pages back. Unless you're talking about when we get inside the Dark Shroud.

IC:
The battle still rages, and several hundred troops on both sides has already died.
My father has sought out the commander of the demon armies here, and is currently dueling him. Sparks flew when their sabers clashed, but it was merely one of hundreds of small skirmishes that made up the battle, though the most important.

"Sires. It seems that someone is attempting to breach the Shroud." A sorceror said, kneeling before the two Lords. "Shall I go and deal with them?"
"Hmm..." Lord Quortan stroked his chin. "Take a small number of demons, and go out and test these newcomers. Let us know what you find of them."

"A wise plan." The Demon Lord said. "We must know as much as we can about the enemy, before formulating a plan of action."

"Very well, sires. It shall be done." The sorceror then teleported away.

A team of thirty demons were called up to seek out the ones who dared to breach the Shroud.

{The after more than 2 days of driving, the Stryker stops on a small hill over looking the Dark Shroud}

Keiji: Hmm...This place stinks...

Specter: I know...Death...Decay...This is the smell of a battlefield.

Keiji: But there hasn't been any fighting here...

Specter: It's coming from the Shroud...I can feel its evil...Any regular person would collapse at the strength of just being in the presence of this evil aura...

Keiji: Mmmhmm...

Reaver: Sir, we've checked out the surrounding area outside of the Stryker...We believe that it is safe...

Saber: The nearest enemy unit is inside the Shroud...Should I order the Crusaders to fire in this direction to draw possible enemy fire?

Keiji: No, artillery will just get in the way...We can get to the base of the Shroud by ourselves...

Specter: Hey, Bravo Zero...Go outside and set up a perimeter...

Saber & Reaver: Yes, sir.

{Bravo Zero heads out of the Stryker}

Saber: We have just spotted several units leaving the shroud, due west of us...

Reaver: They are heading towards our location.

Keiji: You guys get back in here, on the double! Polaris, order the Crusaders to start firing, get some Commanches here to provide cover. Once the enemy force is at least partly decimated, we will start heading for the shroud...

Polaris: Affirmative...Crusader Battalion Zeero Zeero and Zeero Fife, can you read me.

CB00 Commander: Crusader Battalion Zeero Zeero, reporting. What can I do for you AEGIS Zeero Zeero?

Polaris: We need you provide cover fire at coordinates: at 150 degrees west and 90 degrees north...Where is CB Zeero Fife?

CB00 Commander: We lost contact with Zeero Fife, a few minutes ago...I believe that some enemies were able to breach their defensive perimeter Charlie...We have not confirmed that they have yet breached Bravo and Able perimeters.

Polaris: Send some of your extra Strykers to check CB Zeero Fife...Over and out.

CB00 Commnder: Affirmative, Over and out.

"Well, well." I said looking at the creatures that are climbing the hill. "Looks like those demons are ready to dance."

"Yep. Besides, 2-1 odds ain't bad. Is that Crusader firing yet?" Yusuke asked Keiji.

Sigaro and now small band (10) who had join him as they steadily plodded throught the swirling mist...none of the team were full human (with the exception of mito) so the shrouds evil had little or no effect on them they had separated from the main group and headed to the shrouds center...if reinforcements were needed Sigaro could easily summon them to him...He noticed a horde of demons heading to the Stryker team, they changed directions and head towards the abberitions...Sigaro pulls out a butterfly knife with ancient magic runes upon it...if the knives blade touches the blood of anything evil (including himself and other half vampires) that evil becomes purged...at the same time his other hand begins emmiting a red aura...

[OOC: Phoenix one, we were supposed to have a maximum of five each. I am calling the emperor of Techon Archilles from now on, for that is his middle name it was getting tedious saying Imitus V, and Imitus VI]

The two Sages stood beside Keji, awaiting orders on were to go.
Imitus V, and Archilles (Imitus VI) walked toward the group.
"Malice is thick in the air," Imitus said.
"I have seen more cheer in a graveyard," Current Emperor Archilles said. "But we will stay with our task till death takes us."
The two Sages looked around, they felt good ki coming from somewhere, but they couldn't tell exactly.

FYI: The total number of people in the Stryker should only equal to or less than 20 persons maximum. That means only 5 maximum per country, since there are 4 countrys, -Noir-, CoreWorlds, Techon, Pheonix (i think is spelled it right)

Meanwhile, the demons continued moving up the hill.
"Get ready, guys!" I warned the others. As the first demons came within 100 feet of us, I ignited my lightsaber, and threw it like a boomerang, using the Force to control it's direction, and killed 7 demons before calling it back to my hand.
"Hey, leave some for us!" Yusuke yelled, as he fired energy blasts from his finger, killing several more demons. Naruto attacked with a blaster and his shuriken, while Jack and Mike used their own high-powered blasters.
