The Zoogie People
04-03-2004, 00:20
OOC: I have made certain plans for my air force and naval air corps for numbers of when my population reaches 600 million. I have tried my best to make these numbers realistic and accurate, first basing them on US numbers, then going back to planned US numbers before the Cold War ended (After all, it's not nearly as secure a world in NS) and doubling them for 600 million...and perhaps a little more, due to my emphasis on air force and naval air corps. I am looking for assesments by the NationStates section of the forums of whether or not these numbers are realistic.
Note: Not all aircraft mentioned here have been released; and indeed this does not cover all aircraft, as I have not yet the foggiest idea of what I will use in what numbers of cargo, ELINT, AWACs, tankers, and other such aircraft.
However, all aircraft mentioned here are being planned, and the names of them listed are Domestic names. Aircraft with names have their names in single parenthesis (like 'this') and aircraft without names have our personal nicknames in double parenthesis (like "this"). We ask that you do not use any of these names for any of your aircraft based on the fact that such an aircraft already exists; its statistics simply have not been released to the public.
In fact, these plans are NOT, I repeat, NOT public. I am simply asking for your OOC opinion on the realisticality (is that a word?) of these plans, and remind you that you can't just run off and say, "Oh, guess what, I know Zoogiedom's air force!"
Our corrupt, psychotic former president eliminated, and a new system of checks and balances in, The Zoogie People has long been ready to revamp its military. Its overextended and oversized military soaked up much of the budget; now many of these materials have been sold to other nations and even more melted back into useable metal for companies to use in their products, given to them at small prices. Our economy has now fully recovered. We are looking to the future.
Today, we have approved the following plans to go into motion. (Major aircraft listed only; supplementary aircraft listed further down)
Note: All aircraft in here are mine or RL, except the K-32/-35, B-6, A-15, and F-42.
